check out this video and let’s discuss
Doesn’t emotional love go up and down anyway? I mean let’s say you get into a fight with your loved one...do you still feel love for them then? Or is it you love them but what your feeling at that moment is not love.Hi,
this is a really nice message. But I would like to point out, that its not all about feelings. Sure, "you shalt love the lord with all thy heart", but also ".. and with all thy mind". If something is right or wrong, couldnt possibly be discerned just by feelings. You would have to commit a sin, to figure out that it "feels bad" and therefore really was a sin.
And.. thinking of that. Does this commandment imply, that love is more than a feeling? I mean, it surely is. But how can you love someone with your mind? I'm not sure, how you understand "mind". I would make a strong connection to the intellect, or the brain, so to speak. Usually we tend to believe, that love is solely felt by the heart and has nothing to do with the brains.. but, now that I said this.. i wonder, if this is true.
Hi,The name dropping of Lucifer in the video was good. I believe the term is "Lightbringer" BTW.
I'm wondering what's not loving about bringing light? Let's do a thought experiment right now. Try to come up with 1 situation where someone bringing light was negative. If you cannot think of many, congratulations, you have a brain that works. In literally every case of me bringing light, the effect was always the same. There was no light, then there was light.
Evil cannot bring light, especially when it has the option to leave you in darkness.
Althoug I'm not married, this sounds right to me. When you are angry or strongly in love with someone, it may sometimes be better to do some brain work before.Doesn’t emotional love go up and down anyway? I mean let’s say you get into a fight with your loved one...do you still feel love for them then? Or is it you love them but what your feeling at that moment is not love.
Then do you have to remind yourself that you love them and the reasons why? So sometimes love is with the mind. A lot like marriage maybe? You married for emotional love but when hard things happen perhaps that’s when you have to love with your mind and stick it out with that person rather then divorcing and finding another to recapture that loving feeling?
That's a common assumption, based on a misinterpretation of the Bible. But that might be a different conversation.I was also told, that "Lucifer" was his title, before he was thrown to earth
I've dug into that question in some of my previous posts. Why does God also have to be evil in this scenario? God isn’t evil..and there is no evil in Him.
Satan is an angel..was himself created to serve God and he rebelled and doesn’t serve God anymore..just his own evil desires. God has nothing to do with that except He created an angel. He did not force the angel to fall away from Himself. He would have rather that angel stayed in the place he was created for..but God creates and bestows free will on people and angels. He wants to be loved freely and not force love. That however doesn’t mean that He is behind or part of the evil his creatures do should they decide they don’t want Him anymore.I've dug into that question in some of my previous posts.
Your God created and allows evil to exist. Flourish even. Moreover, Christian apologists like you try to explain that with a sketchy power-dynamic between God and Satan. The reality is, Satan is just a shadow form of God itself.
Gnosticism fixes the contradictions of Christianity by giving Satan a real purpose other than merely playing the bad guy. Of course, I disagree with hard-line Gnosticism, in that I don't think the Demiurge or matter, in general, is all evil. I see the Demiurge as being completely neutral and doing the job it was created to do.
God cannot be all love if he gave people free will to commit evil. Don't you see the contradiction you made? An ever-loving God would simply not sacrifice love for free will.Satan is an angel..was himself created to serve God and he rebelled and doesn’t serve God anymore..just his own evil desires. God has nothing to do with that except He created an angel. He did not force the angel to fall away from Himself. He would have rather that angel stayed in the place he was created for..but God creates and bestows free will on people and angels. He wants to be loved freely and not force love. That however doesn’t mean that He is behind or part of the evil his creatures do should they decide they don’t want Him anymore.
Yep God allows people to make bad decisions to be evil or good..after all we did eat from the tree of good and evil..but our actions our own and our personal responsibility. We won’t really go unpunished anyway..there is the lake of fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth after all.
Why didn't God just eliminate Satan?Contrary to Strong's Concordance, the late 19th century periodical published by Moses Harman, and the Zionist-controlled Wikipedia and dictionaries—which are all WRONG—the name “Lucifer” does NOT mean “light bearer”.
Lucifer was an inhabitant of the Morning Star, which is a REAL planet. The Morning Star is home to Prince Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Raguel, Sarakiel (the Archangels), as well as millions of other immortal “Beings of Light”.
Thousands of years ago, Lucifer organized and led a coup attempt (Isa. 14:12-17, Rev. 12:7-9) to seize control of the Universe. He managed to recruit a third of the inhabitants of the Morning Star (angels) into his army, using LIES to CONvince them (Rev. 12:3-4).
The title Satan is Hebrew and means “the Opposer” (God's adversary). When Lucifer became darkness and evil, he became the d/evil-LIAR, opposing everything that is truthful and good (Matt. 19:17). The great red dragon, devil and Satan are therefore descriptive terms Lucifer earned as a result of his criminal actions. A dragon uses its tail/tale to draw its victims into its clutches, and everything that comes out of its mouth burns its victims. A perfect description of lying Lucifer/Satan/the devil. He is also referred to as being a serpent, because everything that comes out of his mouth is poison.
From: Who Lucifer is and Why You Should Care
The sooner people stop listening to and believing lying Lucifer, including his LIE about being the "light-bearer" -- a title he STOLE from Christ, Who is the Sun of Righteousness (Mal. 4:2) and the Light of the World (John 8:3) - the TRUE Light-Bearer/Faithful Witness (Rev. 1:5) -- the sooner this world will return to our Loving Creator, and some level of sanity. Until then it will continue to get crazier by the day, if not by the hour, precisely as is happening now.
Father (God) offered all of us, including Lucifer/Satan/Iblis, the opportunity to be rehabilitated inside human-animal bodies, rather than face immediate execution for treason. Is that not what one would expect from such a merciful and loving Father? Why didn't God just eliminate Satan?
Oh really? Do you know of any Earthly kings that would not immediately carry out the death penalty for treason? Even on human naval ships mutiny is a capital offense.I read the link and how it talks about God creating a prison reform program for the angel upstarts. Basically it all sounds like an incredibly human thing to do.
Which is why you compared Him to a human, so you could then beat down that (strawman) argument as alleged evidence we don't know, even though we've been given all of this information in minute detail?Obviously, I get that we can only describe God in human terms, but that fact also lends weight to the idea that we don't really know.
If you would have taken the time to read the linked article in its entirety, you would have seen that question was answered. :Lucifer/Satan refused to be subjected to human limitations, so Father decided to use him to test the rest of us, to see if we're sincere about changing sides. And, by the way, all of us, including Satan, are being held here on this planet.God is great and all-powerful, but at the same time, we keep attaching human cognitive functioning to it. Sometimes we even attach less than human cognitive functioning to God. Basically I'm with the argument that God created a "test", I just don't see how an oppressor is necessary. God could have removed Satan entirely, and tested us in a million different ways.
We all failed the same test that Adam failed. Most are still placing their Eve above God, having never learned the lesson from the Garden of Eden. No wonder there is so much confusion in this world.I feel like I got shortchanged. Why couldn't I just get the test from the garden of Eden? Instead, I have to bang my head against a wall trying to figure out which "light" is the proper source of goodness.
