Your post sure makes you seem like one. You really want to no why no one speaks out against heterophobia? It's because it isn't a thing. Straight people have never had the shit beaten out of them, or been outright murdered, because they are straight. Straight people have never been arrested for dancing with someone. They have never been chemically castrated for living with the person they love. Straight people have never had to fight for their right to marry, or to dress however they feel comfortable. Straight people have never shunned and disowned by their families, churches, and communities.

Straight people have held all of the privilege for so long that to many equality feels like oppression.

Heterophobia in the sense of systemic discrimination does not exist anywhere in the world. But a move toward dividing the sexes even further and making hetero relationships seem undesirable through cultural influence? Yeah that's happening.

More impportantly, people want to act like homosexuals appeared out of the blue a few decades ago. They’ve been here forever. Just take a look at the Iliade by Homere for exemple. Homosexuality was pretty common in ancient times, in fact men pretty much lived with each other and the opposite sexes only got together when it came to procreation. In the same vein, there has always been a homosexual undercurrent in male fraternities or locker rooms, and those are the places where hyper masculinity is most prevalent.



You can’t compare homosexuality with a foot fetish. Being gay is being attracted to another person not just one body part. Lesbians are repulsed by the entire male body from head-to-toe and by who men are as people. A man is not just a disembodied dick and testicles just like being a lesbian is not just a male fantasy or a porn category. Those are surface level interpretations of homosexuality by straight people. We are bombarded by images of heterosexual couples kissing and holding hands on the streets, on TV, everywhere and it doesn’t seem to offend people. The imagery suddenly becomes obscene if the two people kissing and holding hands happen to be the same sex, there is an inconsistency there. Don’t get it wrong, I would rather not see anyone kiss in public but allowing one group and prohibiting the other doesn’t make sense.

Ah yes, ancient Greece where the greatest and most divine sort of love was the erotic sort between a young (prepubescent and beardless) boy and a grown man while lesbianism was non-existent because it was inconceivable that two women could pleasure each other. I wonder if those who use the ancient world as an example of sexual liberty in terms of LGBT even know wtf they're talking about. One thing I will agree with you on is that there has always been an undercurrent of a homo variety in male-only spaces. Fun fact: most of that probably stems from the Greco-Roman foundations of Western civilization.

THAT^ is not true! Some men of every sexuality, including heterosexual men/boys, have been raped in prison.

People think pointing it out paints all gays as pedos. Not the case but there is something about the subculture (at least the mainstream anonymous sex subculture) that does smack of grooming kids. No one has any problem with pointing out how many straight perverts there are and rightfully so. Monsters and abusers of all sexual orientations should be held accountable.
