@Glad 2 know
Sure...people could be homeless because of rents..some people just don’t know how to handle money very well either which could also could contribute to their money problems.
Who taught them how to handle money? Some have learned while some haven't maybe some are mentally ill, maybe some have ADHD or some kind of mental impairment but yet they're expected to function like there's nothing wrong with them or "normal". I have heard so many stories of people that could barely cover the rent when greedy investors/landlords decided it was time to charge several hundreds More all of a sudden.
Also SO MANY PEOPLE becoming homeless as a result of natural disasters. When you lose EVERYTHING in a matter of minutes, some didn't get to save so much to get them out of the horrible sudden loss of housing.
Or...like I keep saying is that most of the homeless are drug addicts or alcoholics. I think most of them are checked out to life and are just surviving for their next drink or drug of choice and I don’t think it has to be a bad life that got them there ...could be they were drugging or drinking with friends and got caught up in it.
If you could just stop complaining about these tortured souls it would be nice. Maybe you could become a counselor and help?
No one is exempt from problems or pain...but you can make decisions on how you’ll deal with it. For me...I chose God and I don’t want to give Him up to go back to all that..He keeps me whole. I know a man who is an alcoholic and he doesn’t want to have God as a crutch...but doesn’t mind the alcohol..I guess? I think for many....its just too hard to say yes, I am the bad person God says I am, I am a sinner in need of a savior. They would rather be in ‘control’ and handle things themselves rather than humbling themselves before God.
Well you're smart and some unfortunately, are not. Their parents may have never taught them about God so they grew up thinking nothing of spiritual matters. If parents don't instill a love and respect of God and they were the authority figures, a lot of the time these children don't care for God when they grow up.They come to know about God when a significant event happens in their lives.
I still feel bad for them..just because I don’t think the way homelessness is handled is right, doesn’t mean that I’m unfeeling. Everyone has troubles, problems and not everyone copes by taking drugs and hitting the bottle.....though it does seem more and more people nowadays are going that route. Perhaps the legalization of drugs is having a negative affect in that it downplays the problems with taking drugs and elevates it to a healthy alternative when its not.
Yes the legalization of drugs is an evil thing under the guise of being "helpful" to those with illnesses or pains.
It‘s still wrong to kill an unborn human being..they should have every chance at life like the rest of us. Why shouldn’t I want them to have a life..what really did they do to be given a death sentence but be conceived? We don’t even kill people on death row as fast as we can kill an unborn.
Agreed
I think its like the trans movement...people think that by being the opposite sex that will make them happy and people think that killing the baby will make them happy...they are both wrong. There are consequences to those actions, consequences not often talked about so that people will behave a certain way so that society can be changed, become more lawless.
