From T.W. Tramm’s Facebook page:-

2022 is apparently the year for weddings.

Due to the pandemic, the last couple of years have seen a sharp decline in couples walking down the aisle (2020 saw the lowest numbers since 1963). However, according to The Wedding Report, a group specializing in marriage statistics, 2022 is set to see an explosion of wedding ceremonies before the numbers normalize again in 2023.

From a prophetic perspective, the upsurge in weddings in 2022 is noteworthy for two reasons.

First, according to Luke, Judgment Day will begin at a time when people are “eating, drinking, and marrying” (Luke 17:26, 27). Seeing that every word of Scripture has meaning, it is interesting that weddings are mentioned as a common activity when the end of the age arrives.

Second, earthly weddings are a picture of the ultimate union, the wedding of Jesus and the Church at the Rapture.

Biblical weddings that foreshadow the Rapture include:

• The wedding of Israel to God at Mount Sinai (Ex. 19).

• The betrothal of the Church to God by the receiving of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2; Eph. 1:13, 14).

• The wedding of the Gentile Ruth to the Jewish redeemer Boaz (Ruth 4).

• The pairing of the Gentile maid and her beloved shepherd in Song of Solomon (Song 2).

Significantly, all of the above weddings take place in late spring (May–June). Since spring is the appointed season of nuptials in Scripture, it is a plausible time for the rapture–wedding to occur.

PLANET PARADE

With a potential spring rapture–wedding in view, it is interesting to consider a parade, or procession, of planets occurring at this time in 2022.

First, we should note that in Jewish-wedding terminology, the “procession” refers to the lineup of attendants and the escorting of the bride to the wedding-canopy, or chuppah, to meet the groom. With this imagery in mind, it is significant that in the latter part of April this year, the Moon—a symbol of the Bride of Christ—joined four planets, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn, in an near perfect line in front of the Sun—a symbol of Jesus the Bridegroom (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). At this time, the Sun was found in the constellation Pisces, the sign depicting the people of the One who is coming.

The lineup of planets continues in various configurations throughout the month of May. Then, in early June, the lineup expands into what is called a “great” planetary parade, an extremely rare gathering of all of the planets in the Solar System on the same side of the Sun. At this time, the Sun will be found in Taurus, the sign depicting the Prince who is coming quickly.

A few weeks later, on the first day of summer, the Sun will transition into Gemini, the sign depicting the “wedding union” between man and woman. As this is happening, the Moon, slightly out of the planetary line, will be travelling from planet to planet as it heads toward Gemini to meet up with the Sun.

Finally, around the end of June, the Sun and Moon will meet up in Gemini, the wedding sign. Immediately after the ‘wedding,’ the Moon will enter into the constellation Cancer, the sign portraying the heavenly home of the bride, the eternal resting place of “many mansions” in the Father’s House (John 14:2, 3).

RARITY AND IMPLICATIONS

With June’s celestial wedding procession in view, the question arises, how often does such an alignment occur?

A great planetary parade is extremely rare. Only two have occurred in the past 40 years, one in 2020 and another in 1982. However, neither of these occurred in June–Sivan, the month of weddings. The next great planetary parade will not occur until 2161, about 140 years from now.

Seeing that a procession of this magnitude will not occur again until well into the next century, it is reasonable to ask:

Could the planet parade of 2022 be a sign of the Rapture?

Has God ordered the heavenly bodies to fall into line in a showing of obeisance at the ‘wedding of weddings,’ possibly in June?

One can only wonder.

It is nonetheless fascinating to consider that in a year of so much prophetic convergence, when earthly nuptials are at a high, an ultra-rare planetary procession is occurring in the biblical month of weddings.

Scripture teaches that the heavens ‘speak’ to us:

“The heavens declare the glory of God … Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge” (Ps. 19:1, 2).

The message of June’s parade of planets seems to be, “Behold, the bridegroom is coming!” (Matt. 25:6).

. . .

NOTES:

1. Article – Covid cut US wedding numbers to lowest since 1963:

2. As an interesting aside, in Song of Solomon, the shepherd calls on his beloved to “rise up and come away” twice (Song 2:10, 13). This may refer to the dual gathering at the Rapture: the “dead in Christ” first, followed by those who “are alive and remain” (1 Thess. 4:16, 17).

3. June is the month of weddings in pagan traditions (which are often corruptions of biblical truths) as well. One of the traditional names for the full moon of June is the Honey Moon, which is the origin of the term “honeymoon.” The goddess Juno, for whom June is named, was the protector of women in all aspects of life, but especially in marriage and childbearing. Thus, a wedding in Juno’s month was considered most auspicious:
.

4. Jewish wedding procession:

5. Planetary parade 2022:

6. The Sun symbolizes Jesus as the Bridegroom (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11).

7. The moon is a symbol of the Bride. In Song of Solomon, the Gentile maid is compared to the moon: “Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon” (Song 6:10). The moon is emblematic of the Church as it has no light of its own. It relies entirely upon the sun, a symbol of Jesus, for its light (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). Likewise, man has no light of his own. We were created in the image of God to reflect His brilliance and glory (Gen. 1:27). When we turn to face the majesty of God, when we surrender to Him and seek Him with all our hearts, we reflect His glory, as the moon reflects the glory of the sun (Matt. 5:14).

9. The biblical study of constellations and their meanings is not the same as pagan astrology. As explained by E.W. Bullinger (Witness of the Stars) and others, the constellations, or mazzaroth (Hebrew), illustrate God’s plan of redemption for humanity. The various star pictures and names communicate different portions of the plan. This heavenly mode of communication is alluded to in the Psalms where it is said, “The heavens declare the glory of God … Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge” (Ps. 19:1, 2).

10. Constellation signs:

Pisces – The fishes of Him who comes

Taurus – The Prince who is coming

Gemini – The wedding

Cancer – The Bride’s home

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: No one knows the day or hour of Jesus’ return (Matt. 24:36). However, a convergence of biblical signs and timelines suggests it is near. To escape the judgment reserved for a God-rejecting world, one must be in a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet done so, call on His name and believe that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was raised from the dead (Rom. 10:13). Do it today. Time is running out.

LOOK UP! Something momentous is about to occur in the heavens.

On June 24, all seven planets in the Solar System, plus the Moon, will be lined up in their correct order on the same side of the Sun.

Such an alignment, called a “great planetary parade,” is extremely rare. According to Astronomer Gary Seronik, it has been about 100 years since a similarly compact parade of planets has graced the skies, and it won’t happen again until 2041.

But could this year’s planetary parade be more than just a rare astronomical event?

BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE

Seeing that June–Sivan is the biblical month of weddings, it is noteworthy that on the day of the alignment, the Sun, symbolizing the Bridegroom, Jesus, in Scripture, will transit into the constellation Gemini, the sign depicting the wedding-union between man and woman.

At the same time, the Moon, symbolizing the Bride, or Church, will be travelling slightly out of the planetary line, from planet to planet, as it heads toward Gemini to meet up with the Sun.

The climax occurs on June 29–30, when the Sun and the New Moon come together in the wedding-sign, Gemini, as happens only once a year.

The day after the ‘celestial wedding,’ the Moon will transit into the constellation Cancer, the sign portraying the heavenly home of the Bride, the eternal resting place of many mansions in the Father’s House (John 14:2, 3).

Thus, June’s planetary parade may be seen as a heavenly wedding procession pointing to the ultimate Wedding, the joining of Jesus and the Church, at the Rapture.

But there is more.

Besides June 30 being the ‘wedding-date’ of the Sun and Moon, this day marks the seven-year anniversary of the much-publicized Bethlehem-Star conjunction of 2015. This is significant as the God of the Bible is known for giving a seven-day or seven-year warning ahead of major events or judgments.

For instance:

• Noah was told to board the Ark seven days before the Flood began (Gen. 7:1–4).

• The Israelites circled Jericho for seven days, blasting seven trumpets, before the city was judged (Josh. 6:1–5).

• Pharaoh was warned in a dream about seven healthy cows and seven sickly cows that a famine would begin after seven years (Gen. 41).

With Pharaoh’s dream in view, consider another fascinating connection: June 30 corresponds to the biblical date Tammuz 1, the birthday of Joseph, the young Hebrew who interpreted the dream about the two sets of seven cows:

“Joseph said to Pharaoh, ‘God has shown Pharaoh [in a dream] what he is about to do … Seven years of famine will ravage the land’” (Gen. 41:28, 30 paraphr).

Here is why Joseph’s warning is particularly relevant in 2022: Those watching the signs seven years ago will recall the two cows that were born with distinct number “7s” on their heads around the Feast of Trumpets, the biblical “day of the awakening blast.” In prophecy circles, the cows with “7s” were interpreted to be a modern-day version of the sign given to Pharaoh, a seven-year warning regarding seven years of famine.

Seven years later, in 2022, a burgeoning global food crisis suggests the interpretation was correct. The period of famine foreshadowed by the cows is beginning.

SUMMARY

On June 24, all seven planets in the Solar System, plus the Moon, will line up on one side of the Sun in a rare heavenly procession.

One week later, on June 29–30, the Sun and New Moon will unite in the wedding-sign, Gemini.

The next day, July 1, the Moon will transition into Cancer, the sign depicting the Church’s heavenly home.

The day of the ‘celestial wedding,’ June 30, also marks:

• Seven years since the Bethlehem-Star conjunction reoccurred in 2015.

• The first day of Tammuz and the birthday of Joseph, the young Hebrew who interpreted Pharaoh’s dream about the seven years of famine.

Scripture says the heavens ‘speak’ to us:

“The heavens declare the glory of God … Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge” (Ps. 19:1, 2).

The message of June’s planetary parade seems to be, “the Wedding of Weddings is near!”

On a personal note, the last week of June also marks seven years since I began my watchman ministry, Season of Return, on Facebook. I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the brothers and sisters who have contributed by sharing the posts and their own thoughts and insights in the comments section.

Thank you, everyone, and God bless you. May we meet up soon at the heavenly wedding celebration!

. . .

NOTES:

1. Planet parades in general are not uncommon. What makes this year’s occurrence unique is that all seven planets are involved, they appear in their natural order from the Sun, and it happens in June–Sivan, the biblical month of weddings.

2. June–Sivan is the month of weddings and betrothals in Scripture (Ex. 19; Acts 2; Ruth 4; Song 2).

3. The Sun symbolizes Jesus as the Bridegroom (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). The Moon, the sun’s heavenly counterpart, thus represents the Bride, or Church. The Moon is emblematic of the Church as it has no light of its own. It relies entirely upon the Sun for its light (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). Similarly, man has no light of his own. We were created in the image of God to reflect His brilliance and glory (Gen. 1:27). When we turn to face the majesty of God, when we surrender to Him and seek Him with all our hearts, we reflect His glory, just like the Moon reflects the glory of the Sun (Matt. 5:14).

4. The Sun and Moon meet up every year in Gemini, the wedding sign, for one or two days around the end of June–July. What makes this year’s meeting unique is the planetary procession occurring simultaneously.

5. The biblical study of constellations and their meanings is not the same as pagan astrology. As explained by E.W. Bullinger and others, the constellations, or mazzaroth (Hebrew), illustrate God’s plan of redemption for humanity. This heavenly mode of communication is alluded to in the Psalms: “The heavens declare the glory of God … Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge” (Ps. 19:1, 2).

6. Constellation meanings:

Gemini – The Wedding Sign

Cancer – The Bride’s Home

7. Having emphasized the dates of heavenly alignments, we understand that signs in the heavens do not necessarily reveal the exact timing of the event they portray. Not even the angels know the “day or hour” of Jesus’ return. This is why we are told to keep watch (Matt. 24:36–44; 1 Thess. 5:1, 2).

8. Bethlehem-Star (Jupiter–Venus) conjunction of 2015: While Jupiter–Venus conjunctions are not uncommon, the one on June 30, 2015, was unique for multiple reasons. First, it occurred amid a slew of other heavenly signs, including solar and lunar eclipses on the biblical harvest festivals and New Year. Second, it mirrored a similarly brilliant triple conjunction of the two planets around the time of Jesus’ birth, in 3–2 BC. Third, like the conjunction in 3–2 BC, it occurred in June, in the constellation Leo, the sign depicting King Jesus, the “Lion of the tribe of Judah.” Fourth, like the conjunction in 3–2 BC, it occurred in the first year of a seven-year Sabbatical cycle. Since both conjunctions took place in the first year of a new seven-year cycle, they are separated by a span of exactly 288 Sabbatical cycles. This is significant as 288 is the totient function of 888, the numerical value of Jesus’ name.

9. Signs surrounding the Bethlehem Star of 2015: Blood-moon eclipses occurred on the spring and fall harvest festivals, Passover and Tabernacles. Also, on Nisan 1, a total solar eclipse darkened the northernmost tip of the globe, the point where the longitudinal lines intersecting every nation and landmass converge. Besides occurring on the biblical New Year, the Nisan 1 eclipse coincided with the spring equinox. For perspective, a total solar eclipse occurs on the spring equinox only one other time during the roughly 750-year period spanning 1662 AD to 2406 AD. Such an eclipse at the top of the globe, however, is said to happen only once every 100,000 years, making the event in 2015 unprecedented.

10. Joseph and June 30: https://www.chabad.org/calendar/view/day.asp?tdate=6/30

11. Cow harbingers and the burgeoning food crisis:

12. Coincidentally, 2022 is projected to be a record year for weddings.

LOOK UP!

On July 13, the first full moon of summer will grace the evening skies.

Besides being the biggest and brightest ‘supermoon’ of the year, July’s full moon is packed with prophetic significance:

• The full moon is when the “goodman” of the house, a picture of Jesus, returns to render rewards (Prov. 7:19, 20; Matt. 20:8).

• The full moon, white and radiant, symbolizes the Church–Bride prepared for the wedding.

• July’s full moon occurs in the constellation Sagittarius, the heavenly sign depicting the victory over death at the Rapture (1 Cor. 15:52, 54, 55).

• July’s full moon is called the Buck Moon, reminiscent of the “young stag” in Song of Solomon’s rapture-allegory: “Behold, he comes … My beloved is like a young stag” (Song 2:8, 9).

• July’s full moon occurs as flowers are blooming, birds are singing, fig trees are forming their early fruit, and grapevines are blossoming (Song 2:12, 13).

• July’s full moon, also called the Hay Moon, occurs during the wheat harvest, pointing to the ‘harvest’ of believers at Jesus’ return (Matt. 13:30).

Furthermore, July or summer in general is when . . .

• The end of the age is near (Matt 24:32).

• The “wise son,” a type of Jesus, gathers the harvest, while the foolish sleep (Prov. 10:5)

• The godly people “vanish” from the earth (Mic. 7:1, 2 NLT).

• The Jews lament not being saved at the harvest (Jer. 8:20).

• Israel is deemed ripe for judgment (Amos 8:1, 2).

In addition to being in a prophetic season, we are in a prophetic year:

• 2022 is a year of “buying and selling,” as inflation spirals to a 40-year high (Luke 17:26–30).

• 2022 is a year of “eating and drinking,” as parties and festivals such as Pride Month break attendance records (Luke 17:26–30).

• 2022 is being called “the year of the wedding” as a record number of couples tie the knot (Luke 17:26–30).

• 2022 is a year of heavenly signs, such as a blood moon on Israel’s 74th birthday, and an ultra-rare planetary precession (Gen. 1:14; Joel 2:31; Luke 21:25).

• 2022 is a year of escalating war, pestilence, and food scarcity (Matt. 24:7).

Most significantly, 2022 is a year of converging timelines related to God’s seven-year Sabbatical cycle. This year marks:

• One Sabbatical cycle since an unprecedented show of heavenly signs in 2015.

• Seven Sabbatical cycles since the Jews returned to Jerusalem in 1967.

• Sixty-nine Sabbatical cycles since the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall by Suleiman circa 1536 AD.

• Ten Sabbatical cycles since Israel became a nation in 1948.

• 354 Sabbatical cycles since Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy began to be fulfilled in 457 BC.

For details on the above timelines, please see my article or video entitled, “Ten Reasons Nisan 1 Is a Pivotal Date in 2022”:

Article: https://storage.googleapis.com/wzukusers/user-35306783/documents/2492b4ed7b234060933d79efd6cf2194/Ten Reasons Nisan 1 Is a Pivotal Date in 2022 rev b.pdf

Video:

Also check out my article on the biblical Year of Jubilee and 2022:

Finally, it is noteworthy that July 12, the day before the biggest and brightest full moon of the year, marks seven years since the Bethlehem Star reappeared on the biblical date Tammuz 13. This is significant as the Lord typically gives a seven-day or seven-year warning ahead of major events or judgments (Gen. 7:1–4; Josh. 6:1–5; Gen. 41).

To be clear, only God knows when Jesus will return like a thief in the night (1 Thess. 5:1, 2). However, if there was ever a time to be vigilant, it is now.

. . .

NOTES:

1. The sun symbolizes the Bridegroom, Jesus (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). The moon, the sun’s heavenly counterpart, represents the Bride, or Church. The moon is emblematic of the Church in that it has no light of its own, relying entirely upon the sun for its illumination (Ps. 5:14).

2. The moon enters Scorpius, representing the deadly enemy who stings, on July 10. The next day, July 11, the moon enters Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder. On July 12, as the moon reaches 100% illumination, it enters Sagittarius, the Conqueror. These three signs depict the victory over death at the Rapture: “When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ ‘Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?’” (1 Cor 15:54, 55).

3. The full moon of July is called the Buck Moon as this is when the antlers of male deer are in full-growth mode: https://www.almanac.com/content/full-moon-july

4. Additionally, summer is when Jews mourn tragic events in Israel’s history, including the destruction of both Temples (see “The Three Weeks,” beginning at Tammuz 17/July 16.) Because it is a time of mourning, no Jewish marriages or other major celebrations are allowed during The Three Weeks.

5. Jesus says people will be “buying, selling, eating, drinking, and marrying” when He returns (Luke 17:26–30).

6. 2022 is being called “the year of the wedding”: https://www.cbs58.com/news/2022-is-being-called-the-year-of-the-wedding-as-a-record-number-of-couples-tie-the-knot

9. The current biblical year (Nisan 2022–23) marks the first year of a Sabbatical cycle. This is significant because events related to Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy have historically occurred in the first year of a Sabbatical cycle:

• The Jews returned to Jerusalem in 457 BC, the first year of a Sabbatical cycle.

• The Bethlehem Star announced Jesus’ birth in 2 BC, the first year of a Sabbatical cycle.

• Jesus began His Messianic ministry in 27 AD, the first year of a Sabbatical cycle.

• Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed in 69/70 AD,* the first year of a Sabbatical cycle.

• Construction began on an “abomination that causes desolation” (Islamic Dome of the Rock) in 685 AD, the first year of a Sabbatical cycle. Construction was completed seven years later in 692 AD, the first year of a Sabbatical cycle.

10. The Bethlehem-Star conjunction of 2015 occurred on the biblical date Tammuz 13, corresponding to July 12 in 2022.

11. Strong’s Concordance coincidences:

• 2022 marks 354 Sabbatical cycles since Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy began to be fulfilled in 457 BC (Dan. 9:25; Ezra 7:9). Strong’s #354 in the Hebrew concordance is the word ayyal, referring to a stag, or male deer. Strong’s #354 in the Greek concordance is the word analémpsis, referring to a “taking up” into heaven. That the Hebrew and Greek words related to Strong’s #354 refer to a stag and a taking up to heaven is striking because the rapture-allegory in Song of Solomon depicts Jesus as a young stag who comes suddenly to gather up His beloved: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!” (Song 2:8–10).

• 2022 marks 289 Sabbatical cycles since the original Bethlehem Star appeared in 2BC. Strong’s #289 is the Greek word ampelourgos, translated “vinedresser.” The Greek word for vinedresser occurs only once in the New Testament where it refers to Jesus as the caretaker charged with cutting down the barren fig tree (Luke 13:6–8).

The mystery of the 9th Av

ON AUGUST 6, many Jews will observe a traditional day of mourning called Tisha B’Av, or the 9th of Av.

The 9th of Av is a day of mourning due to a number of tragic events that have befallen the Jewish people on this date.

Originally, it was on Av 9 that the Jews feared to take the Promised Land and, for this reason, were forbidden by God to enter it for 40 years (Num. 13, 14).

Later, Av 9 is when both Temples at Jerusalem were destroyed and the Jews were exiled from the Land.

The first exile in 586 BC was a punishment from the Lord for failing to observe a total of 70 Sabbatical years, the once-every-seventh year Sabbath for the Land (Lev. 25:1–4). Because they ignored 70 Sabbaticals, the Jews were banished to Babylon for 70 years, so the Land could have its rest (Jer. 52:12–16; Lev. 26:33–35).

(Significantly, it was at the end of the 70 years in Babylon that a Jewish captive named Daniel received the 70 Weeks Prophecy, God’s plan to redeem the people and their land over the course of 70 Sabbatical weeks. See Daniel 9:24–27.)

The second exile in 70 AD was a result of the Jews’ rejection of their Messiah, Jesus, in part because they did not discern by Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy “the time of God’s coming” (Matt. 23:37–39; Luke 19:44).

Thus, both exiles of the Jewish people, which occurred on the 9th of Av, are linked to a failure to observe the Sabbatical calendar.

MODERN-DAY IMPLICATIONS

The Jews’ latter (70 AD) period of exile ended in 1948 when Israel became a nation again.

Here is where things get interesting for prophecy watchers in 2022. Considering the prophetic link between the Sabbatical calendar and the number 70, it is significant that the month of Nisan–April this year marked the completion of 10 Sabbatical weeks—equivalent to 70 years—since 1948.

That we are presently in the year “after” the 70th is noteworthy because, based on the ancient pattern, this is when God’s people are redeemed from Babylon and allowed to go home to the Promised Land:

“After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to [the Land]” (Jer. 29:10).

Israel’s journey home to the Promised Land is a type or shadow of the Church’s journey to the heavenly Promised Land at the Rapture.

A second important layer of the typology concerns the judgment of Babylon. Similar to how Israel’s departure coincided with the fall of ancient Babylon, the Church’s departure at the Rapture will coincide with the fall of end-times “Mystery Babylon” (Jer. 25:12; Rev. 18:1–5).

SABBATICAL CONVERGENCE

In addition to the above 70-year calculation, a convergence of other Sabbatical timelines points to 2022:

• Nisan 2022 marks one Sabbatical week since an unprecedented display of signs in the heavens in 2015. That 2015 was a milestone year of signs is significant as God typically gives a one-week warning ahead of major events or judgments (Gen. 7:1–4; Josh. 6:1–5; Gen. 41).

• Nisan 2022 marks seven Sabbatical weeks since the restoration of Jerusalem in 1967. This is significant because Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy says Messiah will appear “seven weeks” after Jerusalem is restored (Dan. 9:25).

• Nisan 2022 marks 10 Sabbatical weeks since Israel became a nation in 1948. The number 10 relates to earthly kingdoms and judgment (Ex. 20 Dan. 2; Rev. 13, 17; Ex 7–11). Ten generations of man lived on the earth before the judgment of the flood (Gen. 5, 10).

• Nisan 2022 marks the start of the 11th Sabbatical week since Israel became a nation in 1948. The number eleven denotes chaos, disorder, and judgment in Scripture, themes associated with the Tribulation period.

• Nisan 2022 marks 69 Sabbatical weeks (a second Messianic timeline) since a later restoration of Jerusalem, the rebuilding of the wall by the Islamic ruler Suleiman circa 1536 AD (Dan. 9:25 KJV).

• Nisan 2022 marks 354 Sabbatical weeks since Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy began to be fulfilled via the Jews’ return to Jerusalem in 457 BC (Dan. 9:25; Ezra 7:9). This is significant because 354 is the number of days comprising a perfect lunar–biblical year of 12 months. Since the Moon is symbolic of the Church, or Bride of Christ, it could be said that 354 denotes the fullness of time—or a perfect circle of time—related to the Bride.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

As Jews worldwide prepare to observe a traditional day of mourning, the 9th of Av, we are reminded of the importance of God’s Sabbatical calendar.

The Israelites were exiled from the Land, twice, related to a nonobservance of the Sabbatical weeks.

The redemption timeline in Daniel is based on a count of Sabbatical weeks, and will conclude with a final week.

As of Nisan–April 2022, a new Sabbatical week has begun. What’s more, the numbers suggest that it will be a momentous one.

. . .

NOTES:

1. According to tradition, Av 9 became a cursed date when the spies sent to survey the Promised Land returned on this day with a bad report, causing the children of Israel to be fearful of entering the Land.

2. Other Jewish calamities that have occurred on the date Av 9:

• The Jews were expelled from England on Av 9 (July 18) 1290.

• The Jews were expelled from France on Av 9 (July 22) 1306.

• The Jews were expelled from Spain on Av 9 (July 31) 1492.

• Germany entered World War I on Av 9–10 (August 1–2) 1914, resulting in a massive upheaval in European Jewry, and ultimately leading to the Holocaust.

• Heinrich Himmler formally received approval from the Nazi Party for “The Final Solution” on Av 9 (August 2) 1941, setting the stage for the death of six million Jews.

3. Throughout Scripture, the number 70 signifies fullness, restoration, and an endpoint related to God’s people:

• The post-flood world was repopulated by 70 descendants of Noah, resulting in 70 nations (Gen. 10).

• Terah, the father of Abraham, was 70 years old when Abraham was born (Gen. 11:26).

• The Nation of Israel began with 70 Hebrews who migrated to Egypt (Ex. 1:1-5).

• Moses appointed 70 elders to be the governing body of Israel (Num. 11:16).

• Following the liberation from bondage in Egypt, the children of Israel camped at an oasis of 70 palm trees (Ex. 15:27).

• The Jews were liberated from captivity in Babylon after 70 years (Jer. 29:10).

• God’s plan of redemption for Israel and Jerusalem is comprised of 70 weeks (Dan. 9:24-27).

• Jesus sent out 70 disciples to harvest the field of believers (Luke 10:1 KJV).

• A typical human lifespan is 70 years (Ps. 90:10).

• Israel’s greatest ruler, King David, died at the age of 70 (2 Sam. 5:4).

Seeing that the number 70 symbolizes restoration, it is interesting that restoration-themed events in Israel’s history occur at a 70-year interval:

• From the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BC to the completion of the Second Temple in 515-16 BC is 70 years.

• From the completion of the Second Temple in 515-16 BC to the completion of the wall around Jerusalem in 445 BC is 70 years.

• From the UN vote in favor of the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1947 to the first recognition by a foreign power (US) that Jerusalem is its capital in 2017 is 70 years.

The most significant 70-year intervals correspond to the dates 1948 and 1967:

• From the first modern Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel (Petah Tikvah) in 1878 to the birth of the Nation of Israel in 1948 is 70 years.

• From the first major step in reestablishing the State of Israel (First Zionist Congress) in 1897 to the final step (restoration of Jerusalem) in 1967 is 70 years.

4. A Sabbatical week is counted as one would count a regular calendar week, which is defined as seven consecutive days starting on Sunday. In order to count a number of calendar weeks, the count must begin at the start of the first day of the week: 12:01 am Sunday. If Sunday has already begun, or any part of the week has passed, a count of calendar weeks cannot begin until the start of the next week.

5. The modern restoration of Jerusalem occurred in June 1967, after a portion of the current Sabbatical week had already passed. Counting seven weeks from the start of the next Sabbatical week, which is Nisan 1973, we arrive at Nisan 2022.

6. Suleiman ordered the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall in 1536–37 AD, after a portion of the current Sabbatical week had already passed. Counting 69 weeks from the start of the next Sabbatical week, which is Nisan 1539 AD, we arrive at Nisan 2022.

7. More on the number 354: It is interesting to note that Strong’s #354 in the Hebrew concordance is the word ayyal, referring to a stag, or male deer.

SCRIPTURE teaches that there is an appointed date for the Rapture (Acts 17:31).

While only God knows the exact date, many prophecy watchers believe it could be the Feast of Trumpets.

Here are 10 reasons why:

1. TRUMPET THEMES

The fundamental theme of the Feast of Trumpets is the sounding of trumpets (Lev. 23:24). In the Bible, trumpet blasts are associated with . . .

• Resurrection (1 Thess. 4:13–18).

• The opening of a door to heaven (Rev. 4:1).

• A gathering of the people (Isa. 27:13).

• The coronation of a king (1 Kings 1:39; Ps. 47:5; 98:6) .

• Approaching danger (Ez. 33:4; Jer. 4:19–21).

• A battle cry (Jer. 4:19–21).

• A time of wrath and judgment (Joel 2; Zeph. 1:14–16).

All of these themes are denotive of the Rapture and arrival of Judgment Day.

Furthermore, the Hebrew word translated “trumpet blasts” in Leviticus 23, teruah, may also refer to a “shout” (Strong’s 8643). The Rapture is when the Lord descends with a “shout” and a trumpet blast (1 Thess. 4:16).

2. JEWISH TRADITION

According to Jewish belief, the Feast of Trumpets is when . . .

• The resurrection of the dead occurs.

• The wedding of Messiah occurs.

• The time of Judgment begins.

These themes are denotive of the Rapture and arrival of Judgment Day.

3. INVISIBLE MOON

The Feast of Trumpets begins on the first day of the biblical month, when the moon is in its ‘New,’ or invisible, phase (Lev. 23:24). The Rapture is when the Church—symbolized by the moon—disappears, or is hidden from sight (Mic. 7:1, 2 NLT; Isa. 26:20

4. DAY AND HOUR UNKNOWN

The Feast of Trumpets begins at the first sighting of the New-Moon crescent. Since no one knows exactly when the crescent will be sighted, “no one knows the day or hour” that the festival begins (Matt. 24:36).

5. HEAVEN’S GATE OPENED

The Feast of Trumpets, or New Moon, is when the eastern gate of Jerusalem is opened: “The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the … day of the New Moon it is to be opened” (Ezek. 46:1). The Rapture is when, after “six (thousand-year) days,” God’s people enter through the gate into heavenly Jerusalem: “Behold, I am coming quickly …. Blessed are those who … enter through the gates into the [holy] city (Rev. 22:12, 14).

6. SIGN OF THE WOMAN

The Feast of Trumpets coincides with an annual astronomical alignment in which the constellation Virgo is “clothed with the Sun with the Moon under her feet.” This alignment, called the “Sign of the Woman” in Revelation 12, marks the beginning of Israel’s Tribulation period and, some believe, the Rapture that precedes it.

7. PEACE AND SAFETY

The Feast of Trumpets coincides with the annual assembly of the UN, the organization established 77 years ago with the mission of “maintaining international peace and security.” This is significant because Scripture says the Rapture will occur while people are saying “peace and security” (1 Thess. 5:3).

Coincidentally, the UN’s 77th assembly this year ends on September 27—the Feast of Trumpets.

8. WHEAT GATHERING

The Feast of Trumpets occurs around summer’s end, when the wheat harvest is gathered into barns or granaries (Deut. 16:13). The gathering of wheat into a barn is a picture of the gathering of believers into the Father’s house at the Rapture (2 Thess. 2:1; Matt. 3:12).

9. APPLES AND GRAPES

The Feast of Trumpets is traditionally associated with apples and grapes, fruits that are harvested around this time. Some Jews even deny themselves apples and grapes until the Feast of Trumpets, so that they may eat them with increased enjoyment at the festival. This is significant because apples and grapes are the fruits mentioned in Song of Solomon’s rapture-allegory where the Gentile maid is in the presence of her beloved shepherd, a picture of the Church in the presence of the Good Shepherd, Jesus (Song 2:3, 5, 13, 15).

10. WEDDING REMINDER

The Feast of Trumpets is called a “memorial” blowing of trumpets (Lev. 23:24). While Leviticus does not specify what the trumpet blasts memorialize, the context suggests it is the trumpet blast at Sinai when God gave Israel the Law as a ‘wedding contract’ on the Day of Pentecost (Ex. 19).

Thus, the Feast of Trumpets is a day to remember Israel’s wedding and, by association, the Church’s betrothal that occurred on the same day, centuries later (Acts 2).

Since the Feast of Trumpets is a day to remember past weddings and betrothals, it is a fitting time for the ultimate wedding, the Rapture.

With the above 10 reasons in view, the Feast of Trumpets is a plausible time for the Rapture.

But there is more. Five major factors make this year’s Trumpets festival particularly auspicious:

1. STAGE SETTING

The current year, 2022, has seen an escalation of end-times “birth pains” like no other: wars and threats of war, new and resurgent viruses, extreme weather, earthquakes, famine and shortages (Matt. 24:6, 7). Yet, for most people, life carries on more or less as normal.

That a façade of normalcy exists, even as the world teeters on the brink, is significant as this is how Jesus said it would be at His return:

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed” (Luke 17:26–30).

2. SABBATICAL SIGNS

The God of the Bible is known for giving a seven-day or seven-year warning before bringing judgment (Gen. 7:1–4; Josh. 6:1–5; Gen. 41). Moreover, the Lord orchestrates prophetic events according to His seven-year Sabbatical cycle (Dan. 9:24–27).

With these two facts in mind, it appears God has been issuing ‘trumpet’ warnings for the last three Sabbatical cycles:

In 2001, we saw the 9/11 attacks, followed by a record stock market crash on the Feast of Trumpets.

In 2008, we saw the Global Financial Crisis and another record market crash—a 777-point drop when Congress failed to pass a $700 billion bailout plan—on the Feast of Trumpets.

In 2015, we saw no financial crash but, instead, an extraordinary display of “signs in the sun, moon, and stars”—the signs that portend the Day of the Lord (Luke 21:25; Joel 2:31). Significantly, the final sign, a blood moon eclipse visible above Jerusalem, occurred on September 28, exactly seven years prior to the Feast of Trumpets in 2022.

3. WEDDING SIGN

On June 24 this year, all seven planets in the Solar System lined up in their correct order on the same side of the Sun, to form an ultra-rare “planetary procession.”

Seven days later, the Sun and Moon, which symbolize the Bridegroom and Bride in Scripture, came together in the constellation Gemini, the sign depicting the marriage union between a man and woman.

Notably, this ‘celestial wedding’ occurred on the biblical date Tammuz 1, exactly three months prior to the Feast of Trumpets on Tishrei 1. This is significant because a rabbinic law called Havchana requires a three-month waiting period before a Gentile bride can marry a Jew. (The purpose of the law is to ensure that the bride is not already pregnant before marrying, thereby avoiding any confusion concerning the lineage of the child.)

With the traditional three-month waiting period in view, it is possible that the wedding sign on Tammuz 1 was pointing to the ultimate Gentile–Jewish wedding, the wedding of the Church to Messiah, three months later at the Feast of Trumpets.

4. JUPITER NEAR APPROACH

On the Feast of Trumpets this year, Jupiter will make its closest approach to Earth in 70 years. This is noteworthy for a few reasons.

First, Jupiter, the planet with the red spot on its side, is a symbol of Messiah, wounded for our transgressions (Isa. 53).

Second, because it is the largest planet, Jupiter is called the King Planet. This is significant as Jewish tradition holds that the biblical month of Elul, which ends at the Feast of Trumpets, is when the “King is in the field,” i.e., nearest his subjects. It is thus striking that the King Planet is at its nearest point to Earth in 70 years as Elul ends and the Feast of Trumpets begins.

Third, in Scripture, the number 70 denotes a generation-timespan, a period of judgment, and/or liberation for God’s people (Ps. 90:10; Jer. 29:10).

With the above in view, Jupiter’s near approach on Feast of Trumpets signifies . . .

• A visit by Messiah–King.

• The end of a generation.

• A time of liberation.

5. TIMELINE CONVERGENCE

The number one reason Feast of Trumpets 2022 is particularly auspicious is a convergence of prophetic timelines. For details on this convergence, please see the article, video, or chart linked below.

The most important timeline pointing to 2022 relates to the Year of Jubilee. While numerous attempts have been made to pinpoint the Jubilee based on historical events or patterns, I believe that Daniel’s Weeks Prophecy provides the simple formula needed to calculate the year of redemption:

“From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the prince comes, there will be seven weeks” (Dan. 9:25).

Daniel says Messiah will appear “seven weeks,” or one jubilee period, after a restoration of Jerusalem.

The only modern restoration of Jerusalem occurred in June 1967, when the Jews took possession of the Holy City for the first time in nearly 2,000 years.

Counting seven weeks from the start of the first Sabbatical week following the restoration of Jerusalem, which is 1973, the Jubilee begins in 2022.

It is awe-inspiring to consider that 2,000 years ago, Jesus stood up at the synagogue to declare His role as Messiah and fulfiller of the Jubilee:

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18, 19).

Today, if our reading of Daniel’s prophecy and the Sabbatical cycle are correct, “the Year of the Lord’s favor” is upon us.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

Scripture teaches that there is an appointed date for the Rapture (Acts 17:31). We are told to watch for this day, and that we will see it approaching (Mark 13:37; Heb. 10:25).

The themes of the Feast of Trumpets are denotive of the Rapture. Furthermore, a convergence of signs and timelines suggests that 2022 may be a climactic year.

Will the trumpet blast that changes the world be heard at the impending Feast of Trumpets? Only God knows. But the prospect is utterly thrilling.

NOTES:

1. Feast of Trumpets timing:

The modern (precalculated) Jewish calendar has Feast of Trumpets beginning the evening of September 25. https://www.hebcal.com/converter?gd=25&gm=9&gy=2022&gs=on&g2h=1

Torah Calendar, which bases festival timing on the projected sighting of the New-Moon crescent, has the Feast of Trumpets beginning the evening of September 27: https://torahcalendar.com/Calendar.asp?YM=Y2022M6

2. In the Bible, the Sun symbolizes Jesus the Bridegroom (Ps. 19:5; 84:11). The Moon, the Sun’s heavenly counterpart, represents the Bride, or Church. The Moon is emblematic of the Church as it has no light of its own, relying entirely upon the Sun for its light (Ps. 19:4, 5; 84:11). Likewise, man has no light of his own. We were created in the image of God to reflect His brilliance and glory (Gen. 1:27). When we turn to face the majesty of God, when we surrender to Him and seek Him with all our hearts, we reflect His glory, just like the Moon reflects the glory of the Sun (Matt. 5:14)

3. The UN was established 11 Sabbatical cycles ago on October 24, 1945, corresponding to the Jewish calendar date of the biblical Flood: Cheshvan 17.

4. More on why the Feast of Trumpets in late summer or early fall could be the time of the Rapture:

5. An indication that the Feast of Trumpets is a remembrance of the giving of the Law (Sinai) is the fact that Ezra read the Law to the Israelites, newly returned from exile in Babylon, on the Feast of Trumpets in Nehemiah chapter 8.

6. More on how the Feast of Trumpets relates to Pentecost:

7. More on how the world stage is presently set for the Rapture:

8. Signs of 2015 as a seven-year warning:

9. Planetary parade and wedding sign of 2022:

10. Jupiter near approach on Feast of Trumpets:

Article: https://www.business-standard.com/article/current-affairs/don-t-miss-jupiter-s-closest-date-with-earth-in-70-years-on-september-26-122091700215_1.html?fbclid=IwAR3SR7xIpXzxvZINCMoeH-nUFRHQRpz9UJ6p91dvS9mmN4gDzw5kO3P0NnU

Miscellaneous:

*Jupiter, the planet with the red spot on its side, has 53 named moons. Coincidentally, Isaiah chapter 53 talks about the sin-bearing Messiah who was wounded for our transgressions.

*It was a Jupiter–Venus conjunction that produced the Bethlehem-Star sign at Jesus’ birth. Significantly the Bethlehem Star conjunction recently reoccurred on June 30, 2015, exactly seven years before the ‘wedding sign’ on June 30 (Tammuz 1), 2022.

11. Jubilee calculation:

The jubilee count begins at 1973 because Daniel says to count “weeks,” which are fixed periods on God’s calendar. Since the modern restoration of Jerusalem occurred in June 1967, after a portion of the current Sabbatical week had already passed, a count of seven full weeks could not begin until the start of the next Sabbatical week, which is 1973.

Awake, Watching, And Ready To Go: Nearing The Finish Line

I pray to walk in the tension that the Church at large has seemingly never been able to walk in—knowing but not knowing. There has to be a middle ground where we truly watch for the day with honest speculation, but at the same time, never put all of our eggs in one basket or one theory. Honesty, humility, and faith are key here. Honest in that we will be true to the Scriptures even if God's word leads us in a direction we didn't expect. Honest also when our speculation is wrong. Humble in that we submit our thoughts and theories to Scripture first, and one another second. No one is above Scripture and no one is above correction from faithful brothers and sisters. Finally, faith in Christ's promises. We will never give up, neversurrender. We are almost at the finish line. As surely as the LORD lives, Jesus will keep His promises to us.

Jesus said "no man has known," but then immediately turned around and said at the end of the age it will be the wicked servant that won't know the day or hour (Mt. 24:48–51). Jesus also said to "watch" lest you not know the day or hour (Rev. 3:3). Likewise, He frequently commands His disciples to "watch," "be ready," and even to judge the signs of the times (Mt. 16:2–3; Lk. 19:42).

There's a genuine tension in Scripture on this topic that extremes simply haven't been able to capture. On one extreme: "no one can ever know, so stop worrying about it." In other words, "watching" is judged to be nothing but allegory and the study of prophecy is seen as a fool's errand.

On the other extreme: "Jesus is definitely coming on November 12th."These type of statements, often prefaced by a private claim of divine revelation, have always been wrong, but I imagine someone will eventually guess the day just by happenstance.

I think what is far more concrete is what we see happening right before our very eyes. This is the generation. It's the onlygeneration in history where:

1.Israel became a nation again

2. Jerusalem returned to the Jews

3. Hebrew has been restored to the Jewish people

4. Everything has been prepared for the Third Temple—including the priests!

5. Mark of the Beast technology and social acceptance are tested and ready

6. Global institutions and proto-global government are ready—one world government incoming

7. All ethnos/nations were finally reached with the Gospel

8. Technology explosion (air flight, space flight, cars, nuclear weapons, skyscrapers, computers, phones, internet, appliances—virtually every technological marvel and modern convenience is a product of thisgeneration)

9. Hitting the 6,000-year mark from creation / 2,000-year mark from Jesus' ascension, paralleling the six days of labor before the Sabbath rest

10. The restoration of literal exegesis and accompanying systemization of eschatology after a roughly 1,500-year allegorical hiatus (I'm looking at you, Augustine), just in time for the actual fulfillment of these earth-shattering events; as Isaac Newton stated so well:

About the times of the end, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamor and opposition.

11. The advent of abject lawlessness in accord with Jesus and Paul's prophecies (Lk. 17:26–37; 1 Tim. 4:1–3; 2 Tim. 3:1–9; 2 Thess. 2:5–12); the world has always been sinful, but this final generation has embraced the most vile of vile, inventing new sorts of evil; and compared to most of history where most were oppressed as servants and peasants, the unshackled billions of the 20th and 21st centuries have used their freedom only for the pursuit of pleasure and self-divinity, growing ever-closer to stealing from the Tree of Life and rebuilding the proverbial Tower of Babel.

12. Apostate Christianity has arrived—whole denominations and tens of millions of Christians [in name only] have either embraced the growing harlot religion of universalism, behavior affirmation, and hedonism, or reject the Gospel from the opposite end—embracing legalism and political nationalism; the lawless embrace the whore and the legalists seemingly embrace the beast that will devour her

And on and on and on... There is no shortage of signs singling out this very generation in which you find yourself.

The Church should be on fire more than ever before—fully awake, watching, sharing the gospel, and ready to go, but instead, the Church is largely asleep, passive, quarreling with itself, and clueless. This is just as prophesied.

Now here is some pure speculation:

The Feast of Trumpets has always been a very high watch for many, mainly because of three key trumpet allusions to the rapture (1 Thess. 4:16–17; 1 Cor. 15:51–53; and Rev. 4:1–4).

However, the "Feast of Trumpets" is sort of just a colloquial/traditional term. The Bible actually calls it the Day of Shouting/Blowing and the Memorial of Shouting/Blowing. Technically trumpets are blown at every festival, and, in ancient times, every gathering of the people.

People often call the last blast of Rosh Hashanah the "last trumpet" in an effort to connect it with Paul's statement "at the last trump," but the last shofar blast of Trumpets is not called the last trump. It's called the "Great [Trumpet] Blowing"—Tekiah Gedolah. "Gedolah" does not mean "last," it means "great"—it's the "Great Trumpet," not the "Last Trumpet."

And as I've reminded myself each of these past few years, Rosh Hashanah is not the last festival on either the biblical (Spring to Spring) or Hebrew (Fall to Fall) calendars. The last major festival on the Spring to Spring calendar is actually Tabernacles and its concluding eighth-day assembly (Shemini Atzeret). The last major festival on the Rabbinical Fall to Fall calendar is Pentecost.

I for one believe that Paul's statement that the resurrection and the rapture of the Church will occur at the "last trumpet" should be understood more along the lines of "eschatological trumpet" or "concluding trumpet." It's the final act of the Church Age—the trumpet call of God bringing the whole Church home.

But if there might be an additional festival layer to this, I would suggest that Shemini Atzeret, Purim, and Pentecost better fit the "last trump" paradigm. Shemini Atzeret and Pentecost for the reasons mentioned above. Purim because it's literally the last festival of the biblical year (even though it's a minor festival).

So where am I headed with this? Rereading the account of the post-tribulational gathering of Israel (Mt. 24:29–31), a light dawned on me: most translations have "loud trumpet," but it's literally "great" (megales, from megas—the same word in Rev. 12:1). For instance, in the LSV we have "and He will send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet..."

Hebrew would easily be Tekiah Gedolahor Shofar ha'Gadol—the traditional great trumpet blast of Rosh Hashanah. In other words, what if a key mistake some have made is linking Rosh Hashanah to Paul's "last trump," when it should be linked to the "great trump" of Matthew 24:29–31 instead? The prophetic backdrop for Matthew 24:29–31 can be found in Deuteronomy 30:1–10 and Isaiah 27. And guess what? Isaiah 27:13proclaims that the Great Trumpet (lit. "great shofar") is what will signal the gathering of the elect Israelites at the time the Antichrist is slain and Satan banished (cf. Isa. 27:1 with Rev. 19:15, 19–21; 20:1–3).

So, as I've pondered in years past, what if Jesus fulfills the Fall festivals contiguously just as He did the Spring festivals? In a span of roughly 53 days He fulfilled all four Spring festivals. Likewise, the original Exodus fulfillments of the seven festivals were consecutive, occurring all in the same year (Nisan to Nisan).

Shemini Atzeret 2022 to Trumpets 2029 is exactly 2,520 days. The Great Tribulation is explicitly 1,260 days, not 1290, 1335, etc. The additional day counts might be reconciled some other way (perhaps events occurring after the return of Christ, like the Sheep and Goats Judgment and dedication of the Millennial Temple).

So imagine if the final 1,260 days end at Rosh Hashanah 2029 and Jesus fulfills the Feast of Trumpets with its Tekiah Gedolah ("Great Trump") according to Matthew 24:31.

Then the Day of Atonement—Jesus' robes dipped in blood and the grapes of wrath. Atonement was already paid at the Cross. This is the at-one-ment / reconciliation / setting things right for those who have rejected the Cross. They are squashed. Don't be a grape.

Tabernacles: Jesus sets up His Kingdom, tabernacling with men on earth. Tabernacles is the celebration celebrated every year during the Millennial Kingdom (Zech. 14).

These dates are just food for thought, showing how a possible sequence might occur such that all the Fall festivals would be fulfilled consecutively at Christ's return. Again, pure speculation. I don't know the day, but I'm excited, ready, and aware of what's going on around me. I see the day approaching—and far more quickly than in times past (Heb. 10:25).

An asteroid is seen heading towards the planet in this artistic rendition. (photo credit: PIXABAY)

Yom Kippur, the Jewish judgement day and Day of Atonement is about to arrive, and four asteroids are coming along with it, according to NASA's asteroid tracker.

Two of the asteroids are set to pass the Earth on Tuesday, October 4, which is Erev Yom Kippur. The other two asteroids will fly past the planet Wednesday, October 5, the day of Yom Kippur.

The four asteroids that are set to pass the Earth around Yom Kippur have been designated 2022 SM21, 2022 SO11, 2018 VG and 2022 SJ28, according to the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

Yeah never looked at trumps feast etc never seemed viable for a rapture date for me. The reason is the as the days of noah well as the days of noah no feasts just signs of the season and like the video says prophecy is converging rapidly....and i would say everyday this since the signs are there couldn't say that 20 yrs ago even.

Luke 21:28

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

To complete the types and shadows discussed on this thread, we are now heading in to the last of the seven feasts with the Feast of Tabernacles being celebrated.

It has been an interesting journey and God may or may not use these moedim (or “rehearsals”)

From T.W. Tramm’s Facebook page:

8B2A0D5B-864C-4B2D-A447-BFDF2E8818BC.jpeg

THE MOST JOYOUS festival on God’s calendar, the Feast of Tabernacles, begins October 11 This year.

Also called the Feast of Ingathering, Tabernacles celebrates the completion of the harvest, when the year’s produce is gathered in from the fields (Ex. 23:16; Deut. 16:3).

To observe the festival, God instructed the Israelites to “take palm branches and rejoice before the Lord for seven days” (Lev. 23:40, 41). Additionally, the people were to build makeshift huts, or booths, and live in them during the feast as a reminder of the temporary shelters they lived in during the time in the wilderness (Lev. 23:42, 43).

While the Feast of Tabernacles points ultimately to the Millennial Kingdom, when God will dwell, or “tabernacle,” with man, its themes also correspond to the Rapture.

Consider the parallels:

• Tabernacles is one of three designated harvest festivals (Ex. 23:14–17). The Rapture is a ‘harvest’ (Matt. 13).

• Tabernacles is when all men must appear before the Lord (Ex. 34:22, 23). The Rapture is when all believers appear before the Lord (2 Thess. 2:1).

• Tabernacles is a time of rejoicing before the Lord (Lev. 23:40). The ultimate time of rejoicing before the Lord will be after the Rapture (1 Thess. 2:19).

• Tabernacles is the last festival, so the trumpet blast announcing it is the “last trump” (1 Cor. 15:52).

• Tabernacles begins at the full moon. Since the moon is symbolic of the Church, the full moon at Tabernacles signifies the “fullness of the Gentiles” at the end of the age (Rom. 11:25). Moreover, the full moon is when the goodman of the house, a picture of Jesus, returns (Prov. 7:19, 20).

• The Gentile Ruth married the Jewish redeemer Boaz, a picture of the Church’s wedding to Messiah, after the harvest was complete (Ruth 2:21, 23 DRB). Tabernacles is when the harvest is complete (Lev. 23:39).

• The seven days of Tabernacles parallel the seven-year ‘wedding celebration’ after the Rapture (Lev. 23:39; Gen. 29:26, 27).

• At the end of every seventh (Sabbatical) year, during the Feast of Tabernacles, the Law, symbolizing the ‘marriage contract,’ is read aloud before the people (Deut. 31:10, 11).

• Tabernacles (Sukkot) is the name of the place Israel first camped after departing Egypt (Ex. 12:37). The departure from Egypt is a picture of the Rapture.

• In John chapter 7, Jesus attends the Feast of Tabernacles in partial secrecy because His “time had not yet fully come,” and “even his [Jewish] brothers did not believe in Him” (vv. 5, 6). Similarly, the Rapture is a limited appearance of the Lord at a time of unbelief.

• Tabernacles has special meaning for Gentiles, and will be celebrated by them throughout the Millennium (Zech. 14).

• The First Temple was dedicated to God at the Feast of Tabernacles (1 Kings 8:65). The ultimate “Temple,” the Church, or Body of Christ, will be dedicated to the Lord at the Rapture (Eph. 2:20–22).

In addition to the parallels, a Tabernacles Rapture makes sense contextually.

Consider the overall festival scenario:

Pentecost, in early summer, is when the Church is “sealed,” or betrothed, by the Holy Spirit in anticipation of the future day of redemption (Acts 2; Eph. 4:30).

Feast of Trumpets, at summer’s end, is a “memorial,” or reminder, of the betrothal and a wake-up call that the day of redemption is near (Lev. 23:24).

The ten “Days of Awe” represent the final opportunity to be sealed before Yom Kippur arrives.

Yom Kippur, the day of the Jubilee trumpet blast, is when one’s fate is determined: the sounding of the trumpet is a declaration of redemption for those who are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and a pronouncement of judgment for those who are not (Isa. 61:1, 2; 63:3, 4).

Finally, the full moon at Tabernacles denotes the fullness of the Gentiles, and the completion of the Church-harvest. The seven days of rejoicing before the Lord correspond to the seven-year ‘wedding celebration’ in heaven and, conversely, seven years of Tribulation on earth. This scenario is pictured in Revelation where a great multitude is seen celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles in heaven, during the Tribulation (Rev. 7:9, 10).

Speaking of Tabernacles and the Tribulation, it was seven years ago on the Feast of Tabernacles that a blood moon eclipse, a rare “supersized” version, appeared above the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Since the God of the Bible is known for giving a seven-year warning, this ominous sign in 2015 is one to take note of in 2022:

“The moon will turn blood red before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes” (Joel 2:31).

Having made the case for a Tabernacles Rapture, the point of this study is not that the Rapture must happen at the Feast of Tabernacles.

The point is that it could.

The Rapture could also occur on a day unforeseen:

Jesus ascended to heaven on a non-feast day, and two angels testified that He will return in “like manner” (Acts 1:10, 11).

Paul says there is no need to discuss “times and dates” because the Day of the Lord will arrive like a thief, i.e., at a time no one can predict (1 Thess. 5:1, 2 NIV).

Jesus tells even His closest followers to “keep watch,” because He is coming at an hour they do not expect (Matt. 24:44)

For this reason, it is wise to be ready always:

“Be dressed and keep your lamps burning … Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes …. If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants!” (Luke 12:35, 37, 38).

. . .

NOTES:

1. Feast of Tabernacles timing: The modern (precalculated) Jewish calendar has the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles beginning at sunset October 9. However, those who reckon the months by the sighting of the New-Moon crescent will observe the festival two days later, beginning at sunset October 11.

2. Tabernacles is mentioned more than any other festival in Scripture.

3. The temporary shelters the Israelites lived in during the Feast of Tabernacles are also symbolic of man, a spiritually eternal being who dwells in a temporary covering, or body, in the present world.

4. Trumpets are sounded at all biblical festivals (Ps. 81:3).

5. Feast of Tabernacles observed in heaven: It is evident that the great multitude in Revelation 7 is celebrating Tabernacles because they are rejoicing before the Lord with palm branches, and it is said that God will spread His “tabernacle” over them (vv. 9–12, 15 BSB). The reason given for the multitude being there is that “they have washed their robes … in the blood of the Lamb,” an allusion to the white robe worn by the priest on the Day of Atonement (Lev. 16:3–5).

6. Fascinating correlation between Pentecost, the Jubilee, and the Feast of Tabernacles 2022:

Pentecost (50th day) is a picture of the Jubilee (50th year).

In Acts 2, Pentecost was considered “fully come” between 8:00–9:00 am, when the Holy Spirit was sent.

Thus, Pentecost is fully come when about 54 percent of the 24-hour day has elapsed (see calculations below*).

54 percent of the current biblical year is 192 days.

Counting 192 days from the start of the year, Nisan 1, we arrive at the Feast of Tabernacles.

*Calculation details:

At the time of Pentecost in Jerusalem (mid-June), sunset occurs at 7:45pm.

From 7:45pm to 8:45am = 13 hours, equivalent to 54.2 percent of the 24-hour day.

54.2 percent of a 354-day year = 192 days.

There are 192 days between Nisan 1 (April 2) and the Feast of Tabernacles (October 11) in 2022.

Luke 21

The Return of the Son of Man

(Matthew 24:26-31; Mark 13:24-27)
25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

THE LAST DAY of the Feast of Tabernacles, called Hoshana Rabbah, will be observed October 18 this year.

Hoshana means “please save us” in Hebrew. Rabbah means “great.” Thus, Hoshana Rabbah means “great salvation.”

In the days of the Temple, Hoshana Rabbah marked the climax of the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles. On the other days of the festival, the priests made but one circuit around the altar with palm branches. On this day, the priests made seven circuits while the people recited the messianic psalm, “Save us now, oh Lord!” (118:25).

The seven circuits around the altar recall the seven circuits the Israelites made around the City of Jericho, the gateway to the Promised Land, when a trumpet blast and a shout announced the tumbling of the walls, and the people went straight up into the city (Josh. 6).

Besides being a day of increased prayers for salvation, Hoshana Rabbah is a day of heightened prayers for the autumn rains to come, following the long dry summer. The two themes, Messiah’s deliverance and the autumn rains, are poetically combined in Hosea:

“Come, let us return to the Lord. Though he has wounded us, he will bind our wounds. After two days, he will raise us up, and we will live in his presence …. His coming is as certain as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the autumn and spring rains come on the earth” (Hos. 6:1–3 paraphr).

Seeing how the Feast of Tabernacles and Hoshana Rabbah embody the themes of a temporary dwelling place (tabernacle) and God’s provision, it is fascinating to consider a connection to the discovery of the land that would become a second Jewish homeland.

HOSHANA RABBAH, AMERICA, AND THE END OF THE AGE

It is well known that America has been a safe haven for Jews, and the chief ally and supporter of the modern Nation of Israel. A lesser-known fact, however, is that the man credited with discovering the Americas, Christopher Columbus—believed to be of Jewish descent—made landfall in the New World on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles. It was October 12, 1492, corresponding to the biblical date Tishrei 21, or Hoshana Rabbah, that Columbus and crew sighted land and went ashore on the continent known today as America.

It gets more interesting. Columbus began his journey to the New World on Av 10, the date on which both biblical Temples were historically burned, sending the Jews into exile. Thus, Columbus’s voyage to the continent that would become a second Jewish homeland lasted exactly 70 days, the biblical number of homecoming and redemption (Jer. 29:10; Dan. 9:24–27). Moreover, the voyage began on the saddest day on the biblical calendar (Av 10), a day associated with Jewish exile, and ended on the most joyous day on the calendar (Hoshana Rabbah), a day associated with a temporary dwelling place or, tabernacle

Viewing Columbus’s land discovery as part of God’s plan of redemption for Israel, it is fascinating to consider the year that its helper-nation, the US, was founded. The United States declared independence in 1776, which happened to be a Sabbatical year. Thus, the US’s first year as a nation was 1777, a post-Sabbatical year. The number “1777” is striking by itself. But even more amazing is the fact that 1777 is believed to be a Jubilee year (calculation based on a 2022 Jubilee).

That the US’s first year was a Jubilee, the biblical year of “liberty,” is fitting as the nation was uniquely founded on the principle of liberty:

Patrick Henry’s famous quote during the run-up to the Revolutionary War was, “Give me Liberty, or give me death!”

The US Pledge of Allegiance contains the phrase, “with liberty and justice for all.”

Immigrants arriving in New York harbor are greeted by the Statue of Liberty.

Next to “In God We Trust,” the motto stamped on the face of US coins is “Liberty.”

The Liberty Bell, the iconic symbol of American independence, was cast with the jubilee declaration on its side: “Proclaim Liberty Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof" (Lev. 25:10).

Finally, it is striking that the US is today comprised of 50 states—the biblical number of Jubilee.

If it is true that 1777 and 2022 are Jubilees, the US has existed for exactly five jubilee periods. In the Bible, the number five signifies God's grace, goodness, and favor toward man.

Could America’s period of grace be ending in 2022?

Could the unprecedented convergence of threats facing the nation be evidence of God’s protective hand being lifted from a people who increasingly reject His ways?

Seeing that this is how the Lord has previously dealt with rebellion, it seems likely (Lev. 26:14–26).

For this reason, circling back to the Hoshana Rabbah tradition of calling out to the Lord, let us pray for repentance, and that Jesus returns speedily to rescue His people.

“Save us now, oh Lord!”

Just how soon He will appear, no man can say. But rest assured, His coming is as certain as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the autumn and spring rains that water the earth.

. . .

NOTES:

1. The modern (precalculated) Jewish calendar has Hoshana Rabbah beginning at sunset October 15. However, those who reckon the months by the sighting of the New-Moon crescent will observe the day beginning at sunset October 17:

2. Hoshana Rabbah is also traditionally considered the final day of divine judgment, the day on which the heavenly verdicts issued on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are delivered, or fulfilled.

5. According to tradition, Av 9/10 became a cursed date when the spies sent to survey the Promised Land returned on this day with a bad report, causing the children of Israel to become fearful of entering the Land.

6. Throughout Scripture, the number 70 is associated with Israel and signifies fullness or redemption:

• The post-flood world was repopulated by 70 descendants of Noah, resulting in 70 nations (Gen. 10).

• Terah, the father of Abraham, was 70 years old when Abraham was born (Gen. 11:26).

• The Nation of Israel began with 70 Hebrews who migrated to Egypt (Ex. 1:1-5).

• Moses appointed 70 elders to be the governing body of Israel (Num. 11:16).

• Following the liberation from bondage in Egypt, the children of Israel camped at an oasis of 70 palm trees (Ex. 15:27).

• A typical human lifespan is 70 years (Ps. 90:10).

• Israel’s greatest ruler, King David, died at the age of 70 (2 Sam. 5:4).

• The Jews were liberated from captivity in Babylon after 70 years (Jer. 29:10).

• God’s plan of redemption for Israel and Jerusalem is comprised of 70 weeks (Dan. 9:24-27).

• There are 70 bulls sacrificed during the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles (Num. 29).

7. In 2022, Hoshana Rabbah marks the seventh day, of the seventh festival, of the seventh month, following seven Sabbatical weeks since Jerusalem was restored to the Jews in 1967.

8. 2022 Jubilee calculation: https://storage.googleapis.com/wzukusers/user-35306783/documents/a0ea26efd60c45ec83fce69a4d6e75cc/Jubilee Q and A - Is the Year of Redemption Upon Us - rev a.pdf

9. After Hoshana Rabbah, comes a separate eighth-day closing assembly called “the eighth day of assembly (Lev. 23:36; Num. 29:35). The Jewish sages call this day Shemini Atzeret, from the Hebrew root word meaning “to hold back.” The idea is that God asks all those who celebrated the seven days of Tabernacles to tarry, or linger, with Him one additional day. Since the number eight signifies a new beginning in Scripture, it is believed that the assembly of the eighth day symbolizes the eternal state, the new heavens and new earth after the Millennial reign (Isa. 65:17; Rev. 21:1).

I just noticed that these two events coincided on October 9th…

Calls to mind Luke 21…

From TW Tramm’s Facebook page:

WITH THE SIGNS of Jesus’ return all around, virtually every month and festival are considered a potential rapture time.

Here are some correlations that have watchmen looking up during the month of Kislev–December:

THE NINTH MONTH

Kislev is the ninth month on God’s calendar. According to E.W. Bullinger, the number nine, the last of the digits, signifies the conclusion of a matter. Furthermore, as a sum of the factors of the number six, the number nine is significant of the end of man, or the summation of man’s works, and thus the number of finality or judgment.

‘MIDNIGHT’ OF THE YEAR

Dividing the circle of the year into halves at the spring and fall equinoxes, the winter solstice during Kislev marks the halfway point, or ‘midnight,’ of the dark half, or nighttime portion, of the year. This is noteworthy because, prophetically, midnight is when the bridegroom comes to gather the virgins to the wedding: “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!” (Matt. 25:6).

‘THIRD WATCH’ OF THE YEAR

Dividing the circle of the year into four ‘watches’ at the equinoxes and solstices, the winter solstice during Kislev marks the end of the third watch. In Luke, Jesus warns that He may come during the third watch: “And if he shall come in … the third watch, and find them so [watching], blessed are those servants” (Luke 12:38 KJV).

HANUKKAH

Kislev is the month of Hanukkah, also called the festival of dedication (John 10:22).
Hanukkah commemorates the Jewish recapture and rededication of the Temple from the Greek army after it was defiled by Antiochus Epiphanes, a type of the end-times Antichrist.

The central theme of Hanukkah is that, despite Satan’s relentless efforts to defile the Temple, which ultimately represents the Body of Christ, or Church (1 Cor. 3), it will be purified and dedicated to the Lord, as a spotless bride to her husband (2 Cor. 11:12; Eph. 5:25–27).

A SECOND FEAST OF TABERNACLES

In the 2nd Book of Maccabees, we learn that Hanukkah, the festival that commemorates the rededication of the Temple, is patterned after the original festival of dedication, the Feast of Tabernacles (2 Macc. 1:9, 18; 1 Kings 8).

Since Hanukkah is essentially a delayed observance of Tabernacles, some Hasidic scholars teach that it in fact marks the final conclusion of the High Holy days, the period of judgment and “sealing” associated with Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur.

RECLAIMING JERUSALEM

Seeing that a fundamental theme of Hanukkah is reclaiming Jerusalem from a foreign power, it is significant that historical events corresponding to this theme have occurred around Hanukkah:

• On Kislev 24 (Hanukkah Eve), 1917, British forces liberated Jerusalem from centuries of Muslim–Turkish rule. The liberation of Jerusalem from the Muslims was the first major step in returning the Holy City to the Jews.

• On Kislev 16, 1947, the UN voted in favor of the creation of an independent Jewish state in the Land of Israel.

• On Kislev 28, 1947, the British Government declared that they would relinquish control of the Land of Israel to the Jewish people at midnight on May 14, 1948.

• On Kislev 19, 2017, Donald Trump declared Jerusalem to be Israel’s capital, making him the first US President—and the first foreign leader in modern history—to recognize the Holy City as the capital of Israel.

Prophetically, it is a return to Jerusalem that initiates the countdown of Sabbatical “weeks” to Messiah the prince (Dan. 9:25).

JESUS AT THE GATHERING PLACE OF THE CHURCH

In John chapter 10, Jesus is found at the Temple area called Solomon’s porch on Hanukkah (vv. 22, 23). Solomon’s porch was a place of assembly for the early Church, and is believed to be the location of the gathering of the saints on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out (Acts 2; 5:12).

SPIRITUAL HARVEST

In John chapter 4, it is during Kislev, when spring is yet four months away, that Jesus surveys the ‘spiritual field,’ or ‘field of humanity,’ and deems it ripe for harvest: “You have a saying, ‘Four more months and then the harvest.’ But I tell you, take a good look at the fields; the crops are now ripe and ready to be harvested!” (John 4:35).

ENOCH

The name Enoch means “dedicated or consecrated” and is derived from the same Hebrew root, Hanokh, used for the word Hanukkah. This is significant because in the Bible, Enoch is supernaturally taken up, or ‘raptured,’ to be with God, like the Church will be. Furthermore, Enoch’s ‘rapture’ occurred when he was 365 years old, the same number of days in a Gregorian year, which ends around Hanukkah (Gen. 5:23, 24).

A DAY OF JUDGMENT

It was on Kislev 24, the date that would later become Hanukkah Eve, that God gave Haggai a prophecy about a great shaking at the end of the age:

“The word of the Lord came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying … I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. I will [in the distant future] overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the [ungodly] nations” (Hagg. 2:20–22; Heb. 12:26).

Interestingly, some Bible translations use the Gregorian date, December 18, instead of Kislev 24 for the year in which the prophecy was given:

“On … December 18, the Lord sent this second message to Haggai: … ‘I am about to shake the heavens and the earth…’” (Hagg. 2:20, 21 NLT).

“The word of the Lord came to Haggai on … (Dec 18, 520 b.c.), saying …. ‘I am about to shake the heavens and the earth…’” (Hagg. 2:20, 21 Amplified Bible).

Due to the different reckonings of the biblical and Gregorian calendars, it is rare that Kislev 24 corresponds to December 18. However, in the 35-year span between 2015 and 2050, there is one year in which Hanukkah lands on December 18—that is 2022!

A SEASON OF SHOPPING AND FESTIVITIES

Kislev, the month of Hanukkah and Christmas, is prime time for shopping and festivities around the world. This is significant because Jesus specifies that people will be “eating, drinking, buying and selling,” when Judgment Day arrives (Luke 17:27, 28). Furthermore, Scripture says people will be “planting” and “marrying.” Kislev–December is when wheat and barley are planted in Israel. The winter month is also considered by Jews to be an auspicious time for weddings.

In summary, Kislev–Hanukkah represent:

• A time of finality or conclusion.

• “Midnight” of the year.

• The “third watch” of the year.

• A time of cleansing and dedicating the Temple.

• A delayed Feast of Tabernacles.

• A time of reclaiming Jerusalem.

• A time when Jesus is at the Temple.

• A time of spiritual harvest.

• A time of judgment.

• A time of buying, selling, eating drinking, planting, and marrying.

With the above correlations in view, some believe that a future Kislev–Hanukkah could see events related to Jesus’ return. Some even speculate that the Rapture could occur during Kislev, thus fulfilling the Scriptures that allude to a tarrying of the bridegroom (Matt. 25).

Despite my own rapture-season leanings, I do not dismiss the possibility of a Kislev Rapture for one simple reason: Scripture implies that the catching away of the Church could happen at an unexpected time. Speaking to His closest followers, those actively watching for His return, Jesus warns:

“Keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also [watchman] must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him” (Matt. 24:42–44).

Whether the Lord is referring only to not knowing the literal day and hour or also the month and season is unknown. Either way, the warning seems intended to curb expectations around anticipated dates or times, which can lead to disheartenment and a mistaken assumption that He is “staying away a long time” (Matt. 24:48–50).

What Scripture does encourage the believer to do is to count the years from the leafing of the fig tree and the return to Jerusalem to determine the general timeframe of Jesus’ coming (Matt. 24:32–34; Dan. 9:25).

A straightforward reckoning of these timelines suggests that we are at the beginning of the final seven-year Sabbatical period, the one that will see the Tribulation events come to pass.

Since the Rapture precedes the Tribulation, it is correct to say that we are in the season of the Rapture. However, no one knows the day, not even the angels (Matt. 24:36). So keep your wedding lamp lit, not only during Hanukkah but every day!

NOTES:

1. Hanukkah (general):

2. Haggai chapter 2 implies that Kislev 24 is when the foundation of the Temple was laid. It is believed that this day was kept as a day of gathering in the Temple, commemorating its foundation, which is why the Greeks chose it as a day of defilement, and why the Jews chose it as a day of dedication.

3. Hanukkah as a second Feast of Tabernacles:

4. That Hanukkah is patterned after Tabernacles explains why the Hallel (Ps. 113–118), originally sung only at Tabernacles, is still sung in synagogue Hanukkah services today.

This sounds a little crazy, but I suspect Noah had a reputation with his surrounding countrymen as he was building a large, apparently pointless wooden construction as an eventuality for something that had never happened!
