Absolutely heart breaking can't believe some of the tenants didn't have working smoke alarms!

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but my prayers go out to all those people. Many are still missing so the body count will probably rise by morning...

These cheap and dated flats keep being renovated, this is an example of a building which needed to be demolished.

Thanks Thatcher for the cramming of hundreds of families in a unsafe and unstable block of flats!

If you read the second link it tells of how the residents had been continuously complaining about power surges and electical products shorting out and breaking down because of it and it was ignored, this really could have been prevented. They should be charged with some kind of corporate manslaughter or something.

It's because labour won the Kensington constituency for the first time since 1974. They're trying to get rid of the poor people...

It was a horrific fire, many friends live around the area and had to be evacuated due to the risk of the building collapsing. The area was closed off and lots of people were unable to get around as Labroke Grove was closed too. The area in which the building was situated was difficult to access since there are many small roads. The streets were still and you could sense the sadness. The community has come together in such an amazing way though and now donation centres are overflowing. It's really amazing how people have come together to help.

They won't they'll get away with it, an enquiry will probably take a decade. They're saying the flat was refurbished last summer and this was an unfortunate incident

Well it seems the police are even getting sick of this government!! This is basically what they were told when police numbers were cut before!! Karma coming back to bite them on the arse!! This was posted after the election numbers last week as many tories were quitting because of the proposed coalition between tories and the DUP, so it looks like there will be another general election this year. I think many people may have to vote more tactically this time round, all of us who voted SNP are really gonna have to vote labour if we ever want labour in and the tories out, hopefully people have figured that out but who knows nothing ever changes any the other times with the last GE, the Scottish referendum and then Brexit.

3:33! Jesus Christ. These so-called conspiracies are coming true. I hope the police team up with us commoners. More power. We need more guys like Mad Max. First film is way ahead of its time, what with them fighting with corrupt lawyers in the Halls of Justice.

A lot of people died the news are misleading the public, nothing has been disturbed to the very few survivors. It's disgusting and it's a disgrace that those hundreds of bodies are still there in that building and their families are holding on to the belief that they may be alive and are missing...

Why isn't this being reported? No one is missing where would they go? They're dead and the news needs to report the truth.

This is such a strange story, there were no fire helicopters tackling the blaze it was just a few firemen with a hose. These incident people were killed because a company decided to spend 200,000 pounds on illegal cladding and pocket the millions that were given to them to spend on renovating the flat's infrastructure.

How did this happen in such a prosperous borough? So many questions man and nothing makes sense so far
