But the people in the flat weren't rich, they were mostly immigrants or working class British people whose parents were immigrants. Even the white peoplewho died weren't English they were from Eastern Europe. The affluent borough just ignored their demands to make the flats safer and they used cheap and illegal materials to beautify the outside of the tower. It's horrendous to think these people died purely because their homes were an eyesore, I mean that's why their homes were renovated. There were gas pipes on top of their front doors exposed...I mean this could have easily contributed to the intensity of the fire. And there were no sprinklers!!!Apparently rich people ain't safe either. I'm surprised.
ive learned one thing though, buildings don't just crumble to the floor no matter how intense the fire. (9/11)
