I looked NEOM up on the interwebs. Turns out, it's going to be on the peninsula right by the Tiran strait where the gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea meet; the biblical land of the Midianites. Some have suggested that the real location of Mt. Sinai was in Midianite territory (the planned city is near a mountain range) Could this city be the Mystery Babylon mentioned in Revelation?
-M.B. is supposed to have seven mountains
-merchants of the sea are mentioned, and it will be
near a major sea trade route (Suez Canal)
-M.B. is supposed to have slaves (Indian migrant workers)

- NOTE: this is just conjecture; dont take it as fact,
it's something to consider though.

This is completely out of..any normal..circumstance. They are actually going into your homes to find things to whine upon so they can harass you until you move! WHY ARENT PEOPLE FRIGGIN PROTESTING?

From what I can gather it's a little less subtle than that. They arrive at your home and list numerous "code violatioñs" which each incur a ridiculous financial penalty. The total of which means you have to give your property up to pay your bill.

It makes the mafia look tame by comparison IMO
