Maybe that's a reasonable term for our human psychological dark corners, though I think it's rather simplistic and I certainly wouldn't want to promote the interpretation that we need to be "saved" from it by the sacrifice of some holy individual.
Personally though I would rather say with Nietzsche: 'You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.'
