Finding “clean” entertainment these days

I am finding it difficult to find any movie or series which doesn’t contain any bad language, swearing or nudity. I would like to get into Netflix but literally nothing there is clean. Perhaps some documentaries? Most entertainment these days is M rated It seems to be. Not much PG or G anymore.
Even childrens tv/movies have adult jokes slipped in or some fart joke or something like that.
it seemed to become bad these past say 20 years but more so past 15. Early 00’s it really peaked. 90’s had some good stuff and still had some clean stuff around now it’s hard.

The movie industry, and Hollywood in particular, has always been run by unscrupulous people with loose morals but it has definitely gotten more lax over time. As a result, the vast majority of films contain filth which in many cases is praised: violence and gore, destruction and a morbid fascination with death, sexually suggestive (if not outright pornographic) content, cursing and profanity and all kinds of blasphemies. Even films targeted at children are inundated with innuendos and occult themes that you wonder how they get away with a PG rating.

G-rated movies are probably going to be the most tame of the bunch but discretion is always advised: the subtlety of the insidious nature of movie-making cannot be overstated. IMDb is actually a good place to search for movies by rating, keyword, genre etc. There are plenty of custom lists of wholesome movies you can look through. If you want to know about a particular movie, you can select the "Parents guide" under "All topics" and it will tell you whether it contains any sexual content, profanity, violence etc. and its severity.

The wife & I pulled out of mainstream current television several years ago. We recently watched Little House on the Prairie entire series, now we are onto Highway to Heaven series. Michael Landon's writing, directing, production, and acting are against the grain of what "Hollywood" prefers. After Highway to Heaven series we will move on to Bonanza. Shows of simple times.

I downloaded every season of LHOTP and HTH for free before they cracked down on file sharing. Bonanza pretty easy to find free lots of places. Same guy did the music for all shows I think. Also Karen Grasslee who played the mother on LHOTP is nothing like the character she played. She just came out with a book detailing her hardcore left wing and immoral life.

As others have mentioned, just watch older shows. They are better then what gets broadcasted today.

Some websites like bitchute have channels that upload alot of older sitcoms. While others upload full length movies. Here are some movie channels i use on bitchute.

This one is a mix, seems to be uploading more sitcoms recently.

If Highway to heaven is your thing there are alot of episodes on this channel.

I'm sure there are alot more channels. Generally what i do is i search for a movie i liked on bitchute. Then find a channel that uploaded it and see what else they have.

You could look into file sharing / p2p / torrents. You can find all kinds of content this way. If you're looking for older stuff then copyrights shouldn't be an issue.

Personally i haven't watched tv in over a decade, but there used to be channels that only broadcasted old stuff, like Nick at Night only aired older sitcoms like I dream of Jeanie and Bewitched.

One thing is for sure, finding "entertainment" isn't a problem. Problem is there is too much of it. Way too much. Its easy to lose days accomplishing absolutely nothing.

You have to be careful with file sharing because you can fall back victim to malware. I used to get all kinds of stuff off pirate bay but they cracked down. Any file sharers you can recommend?

Another thing you can do is watch you tube with an ad blocker.
Youtube is the beast. Long as they have the monopoly, they will continue to silence people. With dozens of video hosting platforms out there, themtube should be a last resort.

I don't really browse them. If I'm looking at torrents I'm usually looking for something specific.

I've used pirate bay alot. They are still online. Yifi is good too. They go by yts now. I'd recommend others, but Hollywood has been at war with file sharers forever. So sites frequently move, change names, ect and i just don't use them enough to keep notes.

I used to visit a blog called torrent freak. They can keep you updated on torrents, such as sites to use and what not. I seem to remember them doing like top 10 sites and stuff.

If nothing else try looking for something specific. Say Highway to heaven, just enter "highway to heaven torrent" into a search engine. Works for me most of the time.

The Andy Griffith Show is clean and hilarious. While I’ve never watched them (I prefer the books) I‘d think all the James Herriot episodes are clean and were popular.

Sad thing, is that both of these shows are still bad. Bewitched is promoting witchcraft, and I dream of Jeanie she's practically a sex slave who wears suggestive clothes the whole time. This is why even older tv I can't even handle it. Any kind of media has been used for mind control pretty well, even when it first came out.

All Creatures Great and Small PBS or BBC

I liked PBS Masterpiece theater but most of it has gotten suggestive and/or PC.

Davey and Goliath, for kids or adults who grew up watching it, YouTube Vision Video

I really liked this (is Christian, but shows conviction and not heavy handed, imo). He has more movies and a TV show.

A suggestion : GOING SEVENTEEN !

I do not remember ever seeing any nudity, bad language, swearing or anything like that in the show. The members dress and act appropriately and do not wear feminine make-up during the episodes, and it's an overall incredibly entertaining show, especially after you get to know them all well!!

Going Seventeen is a South Korean variety web series starring boy band Seventeen. The series is offered for free viewing on YouTube. It features the band members participating in a variety of activities depending on an episode's main concept, ranging from games or completing challenges to skits, role playing and get-togethers.
