You missed the plot.Gotta love how Satan's only sin in the second chapter of the Quran was not bowing and worshipping Adam
Satan's sin was arrogance and not following a command of Allah.
“And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, ‘Prostrate yourselves to Adam’, and they prostrated themselves, except Iblees (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves.
(Allaah) said: ‘What prevented you (O Iblees) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?’ Iblees said: ‘I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay’”
[al-A’raaf 7:11-12]
The party of Satan follow him in this characteristic they think they are better than us and dissuade people from following the guidance of the Creator.
Arrogance is key feature of Iblis (shaitan) and his cohorts in this world.
Arrogance leads people to reject the truth and look down on people.
May the Creator open your heart so you can know Him, and seek nearness to Him. Ameen!
It is a forbidden sentiment in Islam.
“Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire” (Surah Faatir 35:6).
“And if an evil whisper from Shaitan (waswasa) tries to turn you away (O Muhammad) (from doing good), then seek refuge in Allah. Verily, He is the All Hearer, the All Knower” (Quran, Surah Fussilat: 36).
“Verily, he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them” (Quran, Surah Al-Aaraf: 27).
“And Shaitan (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: ‘Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, and you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers)’” (Quran, Surah Ibrahim: 22).
“(Iblis (Satan)) said: ‘By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all. Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (i.e. faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism).’” (Quran, Surah Saad: 82-83).
“Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawun (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers)” (Quran, Surah Al-Hijr: 42).
