He it is Who made the earth subservient to you, so go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance.
And to Him is the rising (after death).
Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not make the earth to swallow you up?
Then lo! it will shake.
Or do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not send on you a violent wind?
Then shall you know how (truthful) was My warning!
And certainly those before them denied, then how (terrible) was My disapproval!
Do they not see the birds above them spreading and contracting (their wings)?
Naught upholds them save the Beneficent. Surely He is Seer of all things.Or who is it that will be a host for you to help you against the Beneficent? The disbelievers are in naught but delusion.
Or who is it that will give you sustenance, if He should withhold His sustenance?
Nay, they persist in disdain and aversion.
Is, then, he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright on a straight path?
Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you ears and eyes and hearts. Little thanks it is you give!
Say: He it is Who multiplies you in the earth and to Him you will be gathered.
And they say: When will this threat be (executed), if you are truthful?
Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am only a plain warner.
But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be grieved, and it will be said: This is that which you used to call for.
Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me — rather He will have mercy on us — yet who will protect the disbelievers from a painful chastisement?
Say: He is the Beneficent — we believe in Him and on Him do we rely. So you will come to know who it is that is in clear error.

Those who disbelieve claim that they will not be resurrected. Say, “Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected; then you will be informed of everything you did; and that is easy for God.”
So believe in God and His Messenger, and the Light which We sent down. God is Aware of everything you do.
The Day when He gathers you for the Day of Gathering—that is the Day of Mutual Exchange. Whoever believes in God and acts with integrity, He will remit his misdeeds, and will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme achievement.
But as for those who disbelieve and denounce Our revelations—these are the inmates of the Fire, dwelling therein forever; and what a miserable fate!
No disaster occurs except by God’s leave. Whoever believes in God, He guides his heart. God is Aware of everything.
So obey God, and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away—it is only incumbent on Our Messenger to deliver the clear message.
God, there is no god but He; and in God let the believers put their trust.

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God the Sovereign, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise.
It is He who sent among the unlettered a messenger from themselves; reciting His revelations to them, and purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom; although they were in obvious error before that.
And others from them, who have not yet joined them. He is the Glorious, the Wise.
That is God’s grace, which He grants to whomever He wills. God is Possessor of limitless grace.
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah, but then failed to uphold it, is like the donkey carrying works of literature. Miserable is the example of the people who denounce God’s revelations. God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Say, “O you who follow Judaism; if you claim to be the chosen of God, to the exclusion of the rest of mankind, then wish for death if you are sincere.”
But they will not wish for it, ever, due to what their hands have advanced. God knows well the wrongdoers.
Say, “The death from which you flee will catch up with you; then you will be returned to the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will inform you of what you used to do.”
O you who believe! When the call is made for prayer on Congregation Day, hasten to the remembrance of God, and drop all business. That is better for you, if you only knew.
Then, when the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land, and seek God’s bounty, and remember God much, so that you may prosper.
Yet whenever they come across some business, or some entertainment, they scramble towards it, and leave you standing. Say, “What is with God is better than entertainment and business; and God is the Best of providers.”

“Allaah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely, give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided)they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me”

Hey guys I am a newbie but I feel like my faith crippling
Iman is ever increasing and decreasing. If you don't nurture it with reminders eventually it will feel "crippling" as belief is what holds you back from the evils of the nafs.

If you feel your faith is limiting you then you're on a dangerous path as what is this life of 100 years compared to the next one that never ends? We are here to be tried. Period. If you don't work on your relationship with the Almighty you will have all of eternity to regret it.

Probably not the thread to discuss this, so you can send a pm if you like. If nothing else I suggest you get some Muslim friends as they will strengthen you and remind you to fear God. When judgement day arrives, many will beg to be sent back here to put forth some good. Not a single soul will be able to. This life is it. Make the best of it while you have a chance.

Ask Allah to aid you in His worship and remembrance truly there is nothing on earth that is as sweet or as essential as the remembrance of Allah and His many favours.<3 If we live in a state of gratitude for the multitude of blessings we will always have Him in our heart. Remember your next breath is a free gift that is unearned!
"Bismillah
Every believer suffers from weak or low emaan/(Faith/belief) once in a while; as the Prophet
ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him)
said, “Emaan wears out in one’s heart, just as the dress wears out (becomes thin). Therefore, ask Allah to renew emaan in your hearts.” [Mustadrak Al Hakim, Authentic]

Low emaan can easily plunge one into sorrow and despair, sadness and anxiety, as emaan is a safeguard from this. When one suffers from low emaan, it paralyzes one from doing good deeds and removes the productivity in one’s life and worship. One of the beautiful aspects in our deen is that Allah and His Messenger have prescribed actions for us when we are suffering from weak emaan and sorrow, and one of the most potent cures is duaa. May Allah the Most High make your journey towards Him a path of ease. Ameen!
Pondering upon the Quran and reciting it also helps very much. Here is surah Al-Intifar 1-19.
Allah in the name of The Most Affectionate, the Merciful.
When the heaven is cleft
And when the stars fall off
And when the seas are flown away,
And when the graves are scratched,
Each soul shall then know what it has sent forth and what has been left behind.
'O man, what has deceived you with regard to your Lord, the Noble one
Who created you, then perfected you, and then proportioned you
Into whatever form He willed, He fashioned you.
Nothing but you belies the judgement.
And undoubtedly, above you, are some guardians.
Honorable, scribes
They know what you do.
Undoubtedly, the righteous are in bliss.
And undoubtedly, the evil doers are necessarily in Hell.
They shall enter it on the Day of Judgement.
And they will not be able to hide therefrom.
And what you know, what the Day of Judgement is'.
Again, what you know, what the Day of Judgement is'.
The day when no soul shall have power for any other soul. And the entire command on that day is of Allah.

[ Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah . And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.
O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance
And exalt Him morning and afternoon.
It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.
O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

Prohibited for you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and animals dedicated to other than God; also the flesh of animals strangled, killed violently, killed by a fall, gored to death, mangled by wild animals—except what you rescue, and animals sacrificed on altars; and the practice of drawing lots. For it is immoral. Today, those who disbelieve have despaired of your religion, so do not fear them, but fear Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My favor upon you, and have approved Islam as a religion for you. But whoever is compelled by hunger, with no intent of wrongdoing—God is Forgiving and Merciful.

Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth, so worship Allah ˹alone˺, being sincerely devoted to Him.
Indeed, sincere devotion is due ˹only˺ to Allah. As for those who take other lords besides Him, ˹saying,˺ “We worship them only so they may bring us closer to Allah,” surely Allah will judge between all1 regarding what they differed about. Allah certainly does not guide whoever persists in lying and disbelief.
Had it been Allah’s Will to have offspring, He could have chosen whatever He willed of His creation. Glory be to Him! He is Allah—the One, the Supreme.
He created the heavens and the earth for a purpose. He wraps the night around the day, and wraps the day around the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for an appointed term. He is truly the Almighty, Most Forgiving.
He created you ˹all˺ from a single soul,1 then from it He made its mate.2 And He produced for you four pairs of cattle.3 He creates you in the wombs of your mothers ˹in stages˺, one development after another, in three layers of darkness.4 That is Allah—your Lord! All authority belongs to Him. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. How can you then be turned away?
If you disbelieve, then ˹know that˺ Allah is truly not in need of you, nor does He approve of disbelief from His servants. But if you become grateful ˹through faith˺, He will appreciate that from you. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you of what you used to do. He certainly knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart.

59. With Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except He. And He knows everything on land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but He knows it; and there is not a single grain in the darkness of earth, nor is there anything wet or dry, but is in a clear record.
60. It is He Who takes you by night, and He knows what you earn by day. Then He raises you up in it, until a fixed term is fulfilled. Then to Him is your return, then He will inform you of what you used to do.
61. He is the Conqueror over His servants, and He sends guardians over you, until, when death overtakes one of you, Our envoys take him away, and they never fail.
62. Then they are brought back to God, their True Master. Unquestionably, His is the judgment, and He is the Swiftest of reckoners.
63. Say, “Who delivers you from the darkness of land and sea?” You call upon Him humbly and inwardly: “If He delivers us from this, We will surely be among the thankful.”
64. Say, “It is God who delivers you from it, and from every disaster. Yet then you associate others with Him.”
65. Say, “He is Able to send upon you an affliction, from above you, or from under your feet. Or He can divide you into factions, and make you taste the violence of one another. Note how We explain the revelations, so that they may understand.”
66. But your people rejected it, though it is the truth. Say, “I am not responsible for you.”
67. For every happening is a finality, and you will surely know.
68. When you encounter those who gossip about Our revelations, turn away from them, until they engage in another topic. But should Satan make you forget, do not sit after the recollection with the wicked people.
69. The righteous are in no way accountable for them; it is only a reminder, that they may be careful.
70. So leave alone those who take their religion for play and pastime, and whom the worldly life has deceived. But remind with it, lest a soul becomes damned on account of what it has earned. It has no helper or intercessor besides God. Even if it offers every equivalent, none will be accepted from it. These are the ones who are delivered to perdition by their actions. They will have a drink of scalding water, and a painful punishment, because they used to disbelieve.
71. Say, “Shall we invoke besides God something that can neither benefit us nor harm us, and turn back on our heels after God has guided us; like someone seduced by the devils and confused on earth, who has friends calling him to guidance: 'Come to us'?” Say, “The guidance of God is the guidance, and we are commanded to surrender to the Lord of the Universe.”
72. “And to perform the prayers, and to revere Him; it is to Him that you will be gathered.”

73. It is He who created the heavens and the earth in truth. On the Day when He says: “Be,” it will be. His saying is the truth, and His is the sovereignty on the Day when the trumpet is blown. The Knower of secrets and declarations. He is the Wise, the Expert.

And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.

33. Say (O Muhammad): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge."
34. And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).
35. O Children of Adam! If there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting to you, My Verses, then whosoever becomes pious and righteous, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
36. But those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and treat them with arrogance, they are the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire, they will abide therein forever.
37. Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)? For such their appointed portion (good things of this worldly life and their period of stay therein) will reach them from the Book (of Decrees) until, when Our Messengers (the angel of death and his assistants) come to them to take their souls, they (the angels) will say: "Where are those whom you used to invoke and worship besides Allah," they will reply, "They have vanished and deserted us." And they will bear witness against themselves, that they were disbelievers.
38. (Allah) will say: "Enter you in the company of nations who passed away before you, of men and jinns, into the Fire." Every time a new nation enters, it curses its sister nation (that went before), until they will be gathered all together in the Fire. The last of them will say to the first of them: "Our Lord! These misled us, so give them a double torment of the Fire." He will say: "For each one there is double (torment), but you know not."
39. The first of them will say to the last of them: "You were not better than us, so taste the torment for what you used to earn."
40. Verily, those who belie Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and treat them with arrogance, for them the gates of heaven will not be opened, and they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle (which is impossible). Thus do We recompense the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).
41. Theirs will be a bed of Hell (Fire), and over them coverings (of Hell-fire). Thus do We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).
42. But those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and worked righteousness - We tax not any person beyond his scope, such are the dwellers of Paradise. They will abide therein.
43. And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world); rivers flowing under them, and they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has guided us to this, never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allah had guided us! Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth." And it will be cried out to them: "This is the Paradise which you have inherited for what you used to do."
44. And the dwellers of Paradise will call out to the dwellers of the Fire (saying): "We have indeed found true what our Lord had promised us; have you also found true, what your Lord promised (warnings, etc.)?" They shall say: "Yes." Then a crier will proclaim between them: "The Curse of Allah is on the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.),"
45. Those who hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and would seek to make it crooked, and they were disbelievers in the Hereafter.

27. O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitan (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qabiluhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shayatin (devils) Auliya' (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not.
28. And when they commit a Fahisha (evil deed, going round the Ka'bah in naked state, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.), they say: "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has commanded us of it." Say: "Nay, Allah never commands of Fahisha. Do you say of Allah what you know not?
29. Say (O Muhammad): My Lord has commanded justice and (said) that you should face Him only (i.e. worship none but Allah and face the Qiblah, i.e. the Ka'bah at Makkah during prayers) in each and every place of worship, in prayers (and not to face other false deities and idols), and invoke Him only making your religion sincere to Him by not joining in worship any partner to Him and with the intention that you are doing your deeds for Allah's sake only. As He brought you (into being) in the beginning, so shall you be brought into being (on the Day of Resurrection) [in two groups, one as a blessed one (believers), and the other as a wretched one (disbelievers)].
30. A group He has guided, and a group deserved to be in error; (because) surely they took the Shayatin (devils) as Auliya' (protectors and helpers) instead of Allah, and consider that they are guided.
31. O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawaf of ) the Ka'bah, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance).

"Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things.
Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts?"
