Prophet Yunus (Jonah) peace be upon him
And mention the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree anything upon him.
And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. When he ran to the laden ship, And then drew lots and was of those rejected; And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy;
And he called out within the darknesses, “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, He would have remained in its belly till the day when they are raised.
If only there had been a community (of all those that were destroyed of old) that believed and profited by its belief as did the folk of Jonah! When they believed We drew off from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world and gave them comfort for a while.

Your god is only Allah, except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge."
Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an.
Whoever turns away from it - then indeed, he will bear on the Day of Resurrection a burden,
[Abiding] eternally therein, and evil it is for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load -

Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allah dispensed [with them]; and Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy."
So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky? (24) It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded. (25)

And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability. (26)

Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills. (27)

So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt?
And each soul will be compensated [in full for] what it earned,
and they will not be wronged.

If anyone wants power, all power belongs to Allah.
All good words rise to Him, and He raises up all virtuous deeds.
But people who plot evil deeds will suffer a harsh punishment.
The plotting of such people is profitless.

Surah (Chapter) 33, Al-Ahzaab (The Combined Forces)

The people will question thee concerning the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with God; what shall make thee know? Haply the Hour is nigh.'

So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah ]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.
If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing.
Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Everything in the heavens and everything in the earth belongs to Allah.
Whether you divulge what is in yourselves or keep it hidden, Allah will still call you to account for it.
He forgives whoever He wills and He punishes whoever He wills.
Allah has power over all things.

Know that the life of this world is merely a game and a diversion,
ostentation, and a cause of boasting among yourselves,
and trying to outdo one another in wealth and children:
like the plant-growth after rain that delights the cultivators,
but then it withers and you see it turning yellow, and then it becomes broken stubble.
In the Hereafter there is terrible punishment but also forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure.
The life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion.

Their Lord gives them the good news of His mercy and good pleasure,
and Gardens where they will enjoy everlasting delight.

Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"
They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah ." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"
Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him].

And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allâh,
and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors;
and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help.”

This [Qur'an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.

And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah. for Allah sees Well all that ye do.

And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."

Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
