Quran 62:8-11

Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do."

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed.

But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers."

This whole chapter is a moral code.

The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you of your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful.

Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things?"

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith if you should be truthful."

Indeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.

Quran (3:110)
You are now the best people brought forth for (the guidance and reform of) mankind.
You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah.
Had the People of the Book believed it were better for them.

Some of them are believers but most of them are transgressors.

Indeed, our Islam all of it is a favor conferred upon us by Allah we would be lost blindly following our whims and desires and never having a clear end goal. May Allah help us help others towards this blessed path. Ameen.

Quran 4:69-70
Sahih International
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.

That is the bounty from Allah, and sufficient is Allah as Knower.

Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky?

It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.

And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.

Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.

If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve, He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants. (35.45 Yusuf Ali)

Since Islam means "submission to the will of God and obedience to His law".
http://www.barghouti.com/islam/meaning.html

Fully translated it becomes:

"...This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you, submission to My Will, as your religion..."

It's a great verse. Personally prefer the above quoted translation though, being more informative and complete as to revealing the actual meaning.

29:46. And dispute ye not with the People of the Book (Bible), except with a way better (than merely to have a dispute), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe the revelation which has come down to us and that which came down to you; Our God and your God is One and it is to Him we (should) bow (our wills)."

Quran 2:25

Sahih International
And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

It is only the Evil One that suggests to you the fear of his votaries: Be ye not afraid of them, but fear Me, if ye have Faith. (Surah Al-Imran, 175)

Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Messenger.(For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in Allah. And His apostles: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure. (Surah Al-Imran, 179)
