Yes, of course I know it. It's in the title of the thread (the word "favorite" is in the title).I’m not sure if you know this, but this is favorite Bible verses,
They are the truth from The Lord, for the saving of souls, so yes they are certainly among them.are these your favorite Bible verses?
I was just wondering, it seemed strange that they were your favorite ones.Yes of course I know this. It's in the title of the thread (the word "favorite" is in the title) and since I'm fortunate enough to be able to read...
They are the truth from The Lord, for the saving of souls, so yes they are certainly among them.
So since The Lord put them there to warn us, shouldn't they rightfully be among the favorites of any true bible believer? Or at least be accepted without any reservations? The truth is what sets people free. So, they should definitely be favorites.
"And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free." - Jesus
Understood. I suppose having a favorite is difficult, since it's all good for instruction. They were found to be apt in light of the recent discussions, so I took the liberty of posting them. Perhaps not the first "favorite" verses that might come to most people's minds, like children who don't want to hear that they need to "clean their room" even though it is really for the best and for their future benefit.I was just wondering, it seemed strange that they were your favorite ones.
Well I imagine if you already think pork is wrong to eat you would be searching somewhere to back it up then? I don’t know why you don’t just stick to the quran?Understood. I have found how it depends greatly on our own perspective. Maybe they should be listed also, among the other "favorites"?
2 Timothy
3:16 All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
God Bless
I read the Bible growing up and first, before I later read the Quran.Well I imagine if you already think pork is wrong to eat you would be searching somewhere to back it up then? I don’t know why you don’t just stick to the quran?
It sounds like you should be posting in health and wellness instead...I read the Bible growing up and first, before I later read the Quran.
It's telling us not to eat it, because its not healthy for us. But, it seems many people just don't see it that way. I'll share with you a short personal testimony. Since completely cutting out pork products my health has improved greatly and now I hardly ever get sick (God Willing). So, that knowledge has been a true Blessing.
Deuteronomy 14:8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
The Quran says in it to read the Bible, so it is giving people good advice.
