Thank you for taking the time to write a thoughtful and detailed reply! In that case, I really don't mind waiting.

Maybe Jimin agreed for the same reason something like depression and suicide is being so overused in media? Like "it's to start a conversation, to bring awareness" or some other stupid reason? Which is the reason harmful shows like "13 reasons why" say they exist for. I'm really starting to believe the victim stuff you keep talking about. About how profitable it is, and such.
I really really hope that Jimin's eating disorder is just a made up story by the company to make fans sympathetic. Because otherwise, it means Jimin is surrounded by people who are not JUST doing nothing, but people who see him purely as a product. "How can we best package Jimin to the fans?" kind of thing. It's psychopathic.
And Jimin's solo song Filter is the most creepiest hearbreaking thing I've ever heard, how can someone enjoy listening to that? Assuming it's genuine, he's pretty much screaming that he has identity issues and is willing to warp himself to be someone else to be liked.

You're totally right about art. It really scares me how much control over art there is. You just have to look at what is pushed onto the public. I simply cannot accept that people like the kind of trash that is being published, or also what is popular.
And just about how hard it is to make it in the field, as a teen I didnt think about these things. I kinda fantasized something totally, now I think, unachievable. Especially since I'm so sensitive and easily disheartened by critisism for what I create, I think I would've just given up half way and wasted a lot of my time.
But on the other hand, the internet has brought a lot of freedom to creative people, at least it seems so to me. Artists are posting art on instagram, fanfiction/poetry on tumblr. People can even self-publish books on amazon, or with indiegogo, and how many talented musicians are just posting stuff on youtube. If you are genuinly talented - you can do so much yourself, and if you're successful, you can be supported directly by fans.

Oh God, I hate Bob Dylan's songs so much. His writing never makes sense to me, it's just giberish that is pretending to be deep. I especially hate him because his music is so pretty, it makes you think that his writing is so deep, but if you read it as poetry without the music - it's nonsense. Sure, you can say "well, I see this as it means...", but to me that's not poetry. If it's so vague that it means different things to different people - it doesnt have any meaning.

I dont know much about Pink Floyd, but when I heard the lines "What did you dream? It's alright we told you what to dream. You dreamed of a big star" It hit me so hard.
It made me think of Yoongi's line in No More Dream - "I wanna big house, big cars & big rings".
It's like commercials showing you cool cars, or other material stuff "buy this and you'll be happy".

I thought the reason for throwing away his raps was just "stop wasting your time on these silly things and go study".
About the cafe, or restaraunt, I dont know what's the proper way to call it, but you probably hadn't heard about it because it didn't live long. Yoongi said that his mother had to close it because of health reasons. But it made me wonder, I remember hearing other parents of Kpop idols opening cafe's/restaraunts, which is such an odd thing to me. It's obviously connected to a popular idol, so it's not purely a cafe. And why cafe's? Why not a, I dont know, a flower shop? I dont know if what I'm saying makes sense.
About cafe's culture in s.k

I think cafe's bussiness have a good market is s.k, especially if the cafe owner is an idols / idols family, there will be many customers who come
Most idols want to have a property business, own a building and rent it out so that if they not famous anymore they can still have money but this business certainly costs a lot of money
if there are not enough funds they usually open a restaurant, Suga's, Jhope's, Jimin's parent, Yesung from suju, etc
And jk start this:
According to real estate insiders, Jungkook bought the 2-story house in November last year, paying 7.63 billion KRW. The house was built in 1976 and occupies 637 square meters of land, with floor space of 230.74 square meters. Currently, the house is being rented out by a foreign company
Umm chanyeol from ex0 too, rain, psy they hve a building being rented

What’s with the ladies pants? Looks like Jimin’s pants when he wore ballerinas.

How long are they going to keep it with the gay underage hugging ?

This AI Software is Perfect for those crazy fans wanting to hear their non-existent crush saying their name or programming the voice to tell whatever they want to do.

The whole idea behind it is not just suitable for crazy people, it will, like I posted a few months ago, lead to labels not needing the artist in question anymore, they will be able to sell albums and “record” even if the person in question is either not available or, more important, not willing.

They will make it part of a contract term (wonder if this was already thought and taken care of when BTS re-signed their contract..) , they you agree for your voice to be used without consent.

Here’s How Much Money It Takes To Train A Single Trainee For A Year At BigHit Entertainment

110K for one year training. NOT including dorm/food/other necessities.

Ok. So let me get this straight:

parents and children agree to take a loan for at least a quarter of a million (they trained for 3 years until they debuted, some even longer), naturally the “training” period doesn’t end once you debuted, there is always a testing period for at least 2 years, not to mention - the company will pressure you for highest performance, otherwise they don’t get their investment back).

The parents don’t care because they don’t have to pay the loan back, it’s the child - I have the feeling here, the contract is cleverly formulated so that parents will rather quickly sign knowing they don’t have to pay for the costs if the kid gets injured.

All because this stupid idea of being famous.

With the same amount of money you could study and live in Luxus penthouses all over the world. Which they don’t want. Because studying ...yeah, doesn’t make 14 y olds screaming no matter stupid thing is coming out of your mouth.

How in the shitty whole world, can this amount of money can be justified when at least BTS all dance and sing like shit ? Maybe Jungkook not (singing) and Jimin (dancing), but both came in already trained in these fields. Taehyung obviously had a natural singing voice.
The rest don't look as if they had any training. In addition - they made NO improvement over the years, only regressed.
Hoseok also came as a dancer, Namjoon and Yoongi were already rapping.

Basically they trained to "act cute and gay" for 100 K. (credit to a friend of mine for this line)

110K/12 months that’s 9,17K monthly. That is basically almost 10K and I am sure Bang charged more.

As an example : 1-2 hours with classical music teachers at top university (Juilliard), or top teachers in Germany used to be $400. Top as in not the best, but the most famous ones. Which is why they're on demand (people like Lang Lang's or Yuja Wang's teacher)

3 months summer courses for acting/ballet/master course around €3.000. But you get best of the best not some creepy gay pedophiles who are only in for touching and watching you.

No parent in their right mind would allow the child to take a quarter of million loan - which in Korea, a poor country, is about thousand times more, since one dollar equals 1,000 KRW - not justifiable because they aren’t trained to become world’s greatest singer, they are trained how to gay on each other and to behave when interacting with fans, in fact while they’re training they are also shooting videos and pictorials. So where is the training ??

This is entertainment world’s biggest scam.

Shame on those parents who let this happen.
Taehyung really looks done with life in the picture, i mean his expression, what's like look what i have to wear to gain some money

BTS will have their own meal at McDonald's now, any thoughts? Read the comment section from this video on tiktok, fans are angry because some people said they aren't getting it, However it's their choice if they don't want to and want to voice their opinion. Army dismisses everything as hate for instance I saw a comment saying that when Travis Scott and Jbalvin meals came out people weren't complaining but since it's BTS people seem to have a problem. You would think army would be excited but they are complaining, I haven't even seen any comments going against BTS. I hope army doesn't give the employees a hard time either. Also, do you think their agency help army dox and hack people's accounts? Like they pretend to be "army"?

I don’t know how it was announced and how it went with the other two.
Army sees everything that’s not worshiping BTS as an attack..

They already did Starbucks. McDonald’s is the same. So, in order to be fair, it’s not such a big deal especially with lots of kids eating there.

It looks exactly like their tour poster.
I laughed at one of the first commentary from Germany criticizing the lack of it here. Labeling as boring people.
Me, on the other side, covered my face seeing Romania on the list.

Their fans are going to storm McDonalds. That’s for sure.

Final thought - PLEASE DON’T PLAY DYNAMITE EVER AGAIN.

Just hearing the song in the tiktok video got me food poisoning.

Most of the top fan bases are BigHit employers.
I most definitely believe they go at any extent to do whatever they want no matter the costs and who stand and in their (as in Bang, Lenzo, Bang’s cousin and all the beneficiaries) way.
Including hacking and doxing

Hahahaha. He seems to like it.

Horror of his entire “career” with BTS. this tops everything I’ve seen so far with him. It’s not an edit. It’s their booklet for I don’t know what future release.

Worst recording so far. He doesn’t sing at all anymore. It’s just Billie Eilish whispering.

Jungkook looks like he recently got more plastic surgery. He looks very weird, stiff and over-worked (cosmetically)

I started when I was very young and I had to practice the entire day, this not being entirely my own decision because a child doesn’t want to practice the entire day when everyone else is outside playing.

My starting point was never a dreamy one. I didn’t choose a “lifestyle”, I chose ...practicing and playing. Which is very different than what people like BTS, Beyoncé, etc are doing.

I don’t regret anything. I am saddened about this profession being destroyed by incompetent and sick people.

It wasn’t until a couple of years ago when I realized what’s actually going on.

This, under the circumstances, that even five years ago this whole thing with gays, elites, rich perverts , human rights destruction, “vaccine” for a flu, the victimhood agenda, “cancel culture” as well as a new generation of young people brainwashed and acting like zombies, the “racism”, etc, all the leftist ideologies, were not as bad as now.

I worry about money but it’s clear for me that ...it is the way it is. Maybe one day, in an other life, my work and the one of millions of others who loose their jobs and hope, will mean something.
The problem was/is not just about not getting to choose what I want to do.
It’s the constant promotion of all the items on the list mentioned above, that is required.

When you see famous people on tv promoting for either masks, “social distancing”, vaccines, racism, etc, they are famous because they’re being used and paid to say whatever they are ordered.
Nowadays I can’t even voice some questions as to wether something on their list is safe, logic or true. I don’t mean in a tone like the one I use here. Carefully asking a question.

No.

If I don’t go out beating everyone who doesn’t wear a mask or promotes homosexuality and gender dysphoria, if I don’t act totally normal when talking with one of those perverts, I am being kicked out.

With this hoax of pandemic which is just a flu, nobody has died more than in previous years, people’s brainwashed minds and evil character have come to light in an explosive way.

I’d rather do any job where I’m being paid minimum wage than being mentally and physically destroyed because that’s what they do with people like and everyone else trying to fight them.
Most important - I respect my profession and I won’t harm or destroy it by executing their orders.

Something which is the opposite with BTS&co.
When going on stage one feels little, unimportant and honors the chance of being there. After practicing an entire life.
BTS go and do playback and have absolutely no problem with it.

Even you, if you write poems - you don’t sit in front of the paper with sticky Marmelade fingers, trying to write something. At least I hope you’re not doing it.

In real life but thousand times more in arts because when you’re doing it right, you don’t have a life. You really practice, practice, practice, learn and often ruin everything because of stage fright which cannot be controlled.

It hurts a bit more when you realize they’re not letting you neither have a profession nor live.

They put you in jail, or psych ward (special concentration camps for those protesting Corona measurements) or you’re being fired.

I’ve always bowed and played nicely hoping one day to get a chance.

Moral of the story - it was wrong for me to do that. When you deal with monsters, they’ll use you and then throw away.
Yes, it is true, that Internet has helped somehow for people to be able to get more attention.

If you keep your mouth shut, you can earn money, as long as you’re capable of, knowing the truth, to live a double life.

I couldn’t do it anymore. Better said - I didn’t wanted to do It any longer.

——-

If the criticism is meant to improve your qualities, your work, the outcome, don’t be bothered by it, use it to work on what you’re doing.

If it is just stupid criticism, ignore it.

Don’t get trapped into the same “victimhood”. You have to have a total ignorance towards those kind of attacks or reactions, otherwise you won’t be able to follow your instinct or your heart when doing art, but also in life.

It is important though to be able to develop a self criticism so you can handle better criticism from outside, also knowledge, because if you know that what you’ve done is not good enough, you can handle better those situations. You can’t be mad or insecure as long as you know this time your work wasn’t as good as you hoped.

If you have your knowledge and you know for sure that what you’ve done is good, then any negative reaction would actually only be amusing.
The quality of your work is the only thing that matters. It matters more than you feeling good or bad about it.

—————

“13 reasons”. Another bullshit show.

Again, this victim-hood mentality, or talking about “mental health” only to make young people believe that if the weather today is not so nice and it makes them sad, it means they are depressed, suffering from anxiety and panic attacks.

They go to the doc, he gives them a bunch of pills and become addicted to them for the rest of their life, much to the benefit of the big Pharma industry. Like with vaccines. Or medicine.

There are so many symptom reliving pills and sprays for cold, most of them and the combination of it, is useless and contra productive.

Who cares ? Big Pharma makes money.

Jimin is a product being used. Same as everyone else in the band.

They aren’t seen as people, they are seen as a currency which brings billions for no effort or risk.

It’s BTS who were risking their life with all the filmed airport departure/arrival, being used with no risk for those involved.

In return the people ordering the public appearance got more wealthy while we’ve seen how crazy those fans can be.
Not just towards BTS, but any other kpop band/soloist.

They are victims but their own victims in the first place.
Even the first 30 seconds of this video match the issue with BTS, one that I have talked about in the best, their lack of morals, amount/lack of work, and desperation for fame made them be comfortable with the people around them taking “responsibility” for things like making schedules, organizing concerts, planning, etc, while they sit around and play games.

I made a lengthy post about it last year and the beginning of this video is perfect for the subject.

———

Back to throwing Yoongi’s things away - school comes first and he doesn’t seem the type that would have wanted to learn.

Maybe he was really not learning for school.

For someone who seem to have so much respect for his parents and the need of approval, Yoongi mentioning this incident doesn’t fit image that was presented.

Regarding your last sentence - it is emotionally consuming to practice and even enjoy art.
It is essential to stay sane. It’s a cliche to believe that one has to be mentally unstable, or that being depressed helps creating art.
You have to be sane in order to dig deep into your soul and present the best version of whatever you’re doing.
I can kind of see what you mean. Although I think it depends on what you have to practice. As a kid I could spend hours on learning and practicing playing the guitar, no one forced me to do it, I simply chose it over going out because I enjoyed it so much.
Even playing stupid scales and exercises and such, which I found boring, I still did them because my music teacher explained to me why they were important.
If I was forced to take extra math classes while the other kids are playing - yeah, I'd hate it.
Ha, it's funny the video you posted kind of talked about that as well. Having engagement in something you believe in, even if it's difficult.

The way you're describing the industry sounds so horribly depressing. I cant even imagine what it's like working there. I dont think I could bare it.

I've never thought about the playback thing seriously. I've never been to any concert. But it's so true. You go up on stage to perform for people, who came because they want to see and hear you live, and yet instead of actually performing you're using playback. It's like an insult both to the people you're performing for and also an insult to yourself as an artist.
But at the same time, I dont know, maybe I'm just so unlucky that all of BTS live videos I've seen it ended up either seeming to be playback or just a bad performance, but there has to be some kind of reason why they do it. I doubt it's just plain laziness.

Haha, no, I dont write poems with sticky marmelade fingers. I took it very seriously, even still do.

Yeah, I learned that about critisism with age, even though it's still sometimes hard to hear it, sometimes even from myself. But I also don't mind actual critisism per se, if it's technical I mean, like rhymes being bad or a poor choice of words, stuff like that, it's more the content of the poem that is my sensitive spot. Because it feels like someone is taking it apart without understanding it, and they want to change it in a way that will make it lose it's core meaning. If that makes sense. It's like I'm heading toward the city and someone stops me and says "hey, the village is THAT way", okay, but that's not where I want to go.

Oh man, I heard some 20 year old recently say "I'm depressed because I'm not always happy", dude, that's just being sad, who in the world is always happy? Where did that even come from?

About the video, "If Im a victim, then everyone else owes me something, and I dont have to take responsbility. You can live a responsibility-free life, but the price you pay is that it doesnt get to be meaningful." man, that's such a scary place to be in. I imagine it's also like a black hole, you get sucked in with the convenience and they you cant let go of it. It's like giving up having a smart phone and having access to internet 24/7.

I agree with you about Yoongi probably not being the type who would want to learn, since he said himself he was very sure of his skills and didn't listen to critisism.
And I would agree with you that school comes first IF schools actually taught anything, instead of making kids memorize and regurgitate. You have to seek approval from a teacher who doesn't even have to be smart or wise to teach. Schools seem to be just places to "brainwash" kids until they get old enough to vote.
Do you think people would be "brainwashed" if they were taught to think for themselves? Taught critical thinking? And I get it, why even educate people who you want to control?
They think they're smart because they get good grades, while they know absolutely nothing. They go to school for 12 years yet are taught no skills. People complain about the minimum wage, but when you spend 12 years in school, man, in 12 years you can make someone a surgeon. The fact that you spend 12 years in school and are fit only to be someone like a waiter, that's a problem with education, not the minimum wage.
Also all these stories of people sending their kids to a good Uni and they come back a socialist and feminist. They think they're so "open-minded" while they close their minds to anything which opposes their views, and think that anyone who disagrees with them is obivously a nazi bigot racist homophobe because they dont even consider that they could be wrong or that someone might have a good reason to believe what they believe.
I don't even get why you would send your kids to school at this point. My nephews are home schooled, and the eldest, who is 8, is so insanely smart. He speaks multiple languages, has a super sharp and creative mind, and is just such a ball of joy and curiosity. And my sister isn't even a teacher.
I would say "education" comes first, but certainly not "school".

I dont know, I can obviously be wrong, this is pure theory, but I think maybe Yoongi's parents, like Namjoons parents, thought their kids
are gonna be silly rappers with no future and no ability to enter a good school, BUT when they actually debuted and became more popular, they realized that they can be parents of famous idols.
But maybe I'm completely wrong, because for example with the youngest members I'm guessing their parents had to sign their contracts, right? If I remember correctly, Yoongi was 17 when he auditioned, so if his parents were a 100% against it, they just wouldnt sign the papers, but maybe the rules are different in SK? But if they did have to sign his papers, then yeah, it doesnt fit
that his parents would say "no" to the point of throwing out his raps. Especially since when Yoongi was selling his music he barely made any money, so for parents who see that they would probably think "this is going nowhere, you're gonna waste your life on this dream".

Oh, I wrote about it a few times in the past, you would have to use the search form or go back a few pages.

Top of my head:

  • The timing between a release of media (video, audio, pictorial) and we didn’t minutes the “fans” have already found similar pictures from the past, already made an edit. In order for this to happen so fast, someone would have to have access to all database stored in our computer running a specific software dealing with metadata, tags, referrals and scripts created by a specialist so that finding a similar reference can work fast;
  • The average hard-core BTS fan, is an uneducated teenager/minor who couldn’t have heard about whatever Jung referral they are talking about, probably confusing even his name with some fungus cream. Yet minutes after here they are talking “analysis” of his work and drawing parallels to BTS;
  • Collecting money, organizing donations, creating funds-list;
  • People like “nuna v” organizing exhibitions of high quality pictures of Taehyung, selling packages at high value (I talked about it extra in the past, related to how Bang is securing extra income through scenarios like this one and why he does it) , traveling with them and him for every appearance taking pictures, filming, all first row and high definition while it’s prohibited to bring hd-cameras at their concerts, etc. This all can only be done with the approval and direct/strict orders from Bang. Hence - BigHit/Hybe staffers acting as fans.

Because it is a total different perception if the one doing all the above is a staff member or a “fan” and for sure doesn’t look good if BigHit would be the one doing all of it publicly/official.
yeah i always raised a brow around these senarious, especially the organized donations. Some of these "fansites" too who are able to go to every location and event the boys are, and i always wondered how they were able to take hd quality photos of the members when those types of cameras are not allowed inside venues. And also even be able to pay for all that.
I cant remember the fan account on twitter but one of them got to go inside the grammys venue last year and they were sitting a couple seats away from the boys and were filming them and updating on their account on when they got out of their seats, came back, and when they got out again to get ready for their performance. Now i feel like that was probably a staff posing as a fan account to keep the boys trending on twitter that day, because fans chose not to trend them to pay respect to kobe and his family.
