Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply that you said the name sounds like Beatles, it was just one of the examples I gave to support why I doubt Bang planned a connection to them.
----------
Watching the video you posted, I can say that the entire discussion was way too decent from a professional point of view. That guy, B-free expressed the issue of being a rapper or doing hip-hop which stands against everything BTS represents, a commercial product meant to attract young girls.
A bit similar to when people come and say “I am a singer”, or like they say about BTS/Beyoncé/Billie Eilish/etc ...they’re singers or dancers when in fact they aren’t any of those, yet they want to be considered as such.
Namjoon and Yoongi were there as rappers, that guy simply pointed out to the fact that a rapper has his own will, writes his own lyrics, expresses his own thoughts, doesn’t become a marketing tool.
At no point did he said that they are a joke, which they were and definitely are in this case.
A rapper doesn’t go on stage with make up and shades for girls, acting like monkeys, or “cute”, etc.
Namjoon and Yoongi where there trying to pretend, which they do even more nowadays, that they are rappers to be taken seriously, writing their own lyrics, expressing their own thoughts.
And they’re there promoting sofas or make-up for Bang..
Another thing that I’ve also pointed out to, was there complaining about how “hard” it was that Yoongi couldn’t earn money with his songs.
maybe what he was writing wasn’t that good;
music isn’t something that you do for money, as the chances are that 99.9% of the people end up not earning money from this profession;
his parents aren’t poor, so his choice to not have a serious profession, but becoming a rapper, against his parents will, was his decision. Reality is that many rappers do come from poor families and they don’t have parents giving them an option;
Yoongi never studied music so it’s quite arrogant and unintelligent to expect living from music, when you didn’t even studied this profession.
That guy probably was annoyed about Bang, maybe even knowing some things because this world is a small one and things travel around about people, so he mentioned that having difficulties to live off rapping, is something that everyone in the room has dealt with, including him.
Another thing related to Bang, B-Free says it between the lines, that Yoongi is full of bullshit, thinking that once he has money through his affiliation with Bang, or being part of his “hip-hop” group, he’s going to change his financial situation and not become a product. Their “idol”. Which is what Yoongi not only did, but the group was basically canceled. It no longer became a hip-hip group, but worse than any other boy group at that time.
How many times didn’t Yoongi thought about quitting ..? Many times.
In the end he renewed his contract and in the past two years with the exception of his solo-cd, which, like any other solo-project, went unnoticed to not influence the presence of the band as a whole, Yoongi is gone.
Their lyrics are the same and it damn looks that way, that they are not writing their lyrics. Not entirely. And are being told what to write.

I don’t mind your question, it was put out in a polite way and you are correct in your observations about me.
Right from the start - if it wouldn’t be for Taehyung and Yoongi, but especially Taehyung since Yoongi hasn’t done anything in the past two years, I wouldn’t be following BTS.
I didn’t discover the band from the news, it was played as next while I was watching something on YouTube and I’ve watched/listened at once following songs : all cyphers, ddaeng, D (Yoongi’s song), My City, Fake Love, Mic Drop, Sea, Truth Untold, and then several videos of Taehyung singing live little moments on stage and that video when he sings “oh happy day”.
As far as the band goes, I liked everything from the beginning and I was hyped to listen to something new that I like, which I enjoy every time no matter what it is, simply good music that attracts me. It gives me an euphoria and that’s all I care about.
Beginning of Fake Love Video was awesome, but then it started with the awful gay vibes and bad make-up : Jimin, though I’ve noticed his dancing from the beginning, Namjoon (dna seems to be his worst video), Hoseok with that scene surrounded by chocolate and Yoongi with the same hair style I used to wear in the 5th grade.
With so much make up and too many colors in the video, I started disliking second to second more, the only one who caught my attention, especially since I wasn’t able to discern between any of them, they were all looking the same (it goes without saying, that for a non-Asian person, when you dress up 7 boys in the same way, filled with all rainbow colors and lots of shots per second, it’s kind of hard to notice who is who), was Jungkook.
Something in his eyes caught my attention and his moment (running) was the only one that I liked. The rest were to cringy “dramatic” and gay for me.
But Jungkook had what it takes to be the center of attention and I liked the way he moves his body (up until today). I am not referring to it as in a sexual way, but he oozes a certain attraction when he moves, minus the moments where he goes out crazy on stage, which doesn't look good.
Either way - at that moment I liked everything I discovered not knowing that those were old songs and I discovered the band around 2018 when they started promoting homosexuality in America, their music and style changed dramatically and very fast.
I didn't like the band as to "oh, cute boys", half of the things I watched first was only audio, but, of course, being a girl, seeing Jungkook in Fake Love caught my attention.
Only a few months after discovering them, they performed at Billboard and not only did they do playback with some screaming live (Fake Love), but they looked scared, insecure and without video and things in the background their choreography and dancing look very bad.
BTS starting with 2019 has no connection to what they were until 2018.
So my disappointment, hoping for more music like the one I’ve listen to, was quite abrupt.
Yes, wings album, Yoongi’s first solo-cd (in fact I was looking for listening to his second cd, what he released last year), many many other songs, to which I listen up until today.
Tear for example is a song that I like, boyz with fun, Pied Piper (though if I'd listen to the songs in a language that I understand, I'd run away from it, because they are bad).
BTS hasn't released much since 2018 worth listening to, in fact I cannot name one song that I liked since then. Maybe Black Swan a bit, but the production is too american-standard.
The very first thing that I've seen with Taehyung was "oh happy day" and I was mesmerized by his voice, one doesn't find very often a voice like he used to have. And Asians simply don't have the gene for music. Even more was he an exception, imagine an Asian guy singing the way he sings with his voice and so young.
I want to point out to the fact that I was purely professional impressed, because not only was he ugly in that mid-post-pubertarian time, but I thought him to be around 12 or so, and since I am not a p***phile, at almost 25 my age back then, I had no reaction in that sense.
Everything else that I've seen with him from a bit later was captivating and I was hoping for more and a big career for him, he also had a charismatic and genuine presence, he seemed to be of a special kind. From his personality the thing that I liked the most was that even though he was put in weird situations, like those slapping butts, etc, I had the feeling he has no idea of what he is doing and it was kind of sad to see someone with his personality and qualities, who, at the same time seems to be pure, doing what he was doing.
I had no idea when I watched his videos, that it is the same guy from BTS (I was more concentrated on the music and the titles were soooooo long, with soooo many names, couldn't figure out who that is). I didn't recognize him in DNA, Fake Love, etc.
Everything about him was gone. From the captivating personality and face/eyes - by that I mean how the eyes are telling you much about someone - he now had the same boring stare in all the videos I've seen, was trying to come off as "cool" and his voice was unrecognizable.
It was then when I realized that the videos I've seen with him were older and that's actually the same guy only a few years older than what I've seen.
The older videos never gave me a gay vibe, on the contrary, now imagine my reaction when the first video I've seen of BTS on stage was the one where he goes behind Jungkook's back, hugging him, closing his eyes, smelling his back and kissing.
From then on, I hoped everytime to see an improvement, but things got only worse. The half naked selfies, the disappearance of his voice, not because he suffered an accident, but because he's lazy, the fact that he seem to have more in his brain when he was younger than now...
yes. you are right, my criticism comes from both disappointment as well as hope that both him and Yoongi would change something for the sake of their qualities, but I should know better than hoping from someone who is 25 to materialize his potential. You do that no later than the age of 12, what I believed Taehyung to be in the first video.
Whenever I see Bang using him, which happens constantly, I say to myself - you idiot, screw the monster, sue him, take your money and do something with the qualities you were given.
But if that's what he developed into, from who he appeared to be in his younger years, than...maybe that's how things had to be.
It's also sad to see Yoongi. It's like nothing is there from what he was anymore. Whatever he's doing, is just bad, singing odes to Bang, drinking, even believing the hype made by his fans of him being the "best rapper Korea's".
I liked BTS from the beginning, the music they were doing, not dancing, except Jimin and Jungkook. I thought Taehyung to be one of a kind from any perspective, Jungkook to maybe develop into something more than just lead-singer in a band and Yoongi to be...DAMN. It was good.
To end with the sentence that I've wrote in the beginning, I wouldn't be watching them if it wouldn't be for Taehyung and Yoongi, because not only is BTS no longer what they were a few years ago, doing music and rap that I liked, but because of them other bands now aren't promoted anymore, due to them the pushing of homosexuality has become priority and instead of seeing EXO's and Kai's half naked body of which I have even stored pictures in my computer, I get to see all sorts of weird, fragile, feminine looking guys, trying to sing/scream higher than me and BTS' members looking weirder and weirder. Except Jin and Namjoon.
This disappointed happens often in music. When you like someone's music or playing and they're ruing it.
