I meant specifically homeopathics. When you look at how they are made, it's clear it should not work. But some claim it does.Alternative and plant-based medicine, when properly administrated, is more efficient and safe than any other drug.
I grew up on such medicine in Romania before western world invaded my country with all sorts of medicine.
For example : many people suffering from gastritis would drink a combination of tee - camomile/mint/caraway seed/anis/fennel for a period of not longer than two weeks. It works better than any anti-acid on the market.
Same goes for headaches. One would use aspirin. We used to be able to drink more water, fresh, before it got contaminated as a result of “modernization”.
Onion tee is another very powerful tool against cold and oxidation. Works better than anti-cold-symptoms-medicine from the pharmacy, which comes with lots of side effects and damages to the heart.
Chicken broth is another alternative anti-cold treatment we used to consume as children.
Castor oil is a natural ingredient for constipation, mint tea for diarrhea.
There is a difference between homeopathy and alternative medicine. Both which have been forbidden in Germany as for now, and in Romania the government was close to criminalize anyone who would even dare to touch a mint leave.
I personally didn’t had any result with homeopathy but I try to rely on alternative natural medicine to treat common things. Rather than taking aspirin, ibuprofen, anti-acids or pills for dizziness.
Rather than drinking coffee, green tea has a much powerful effect without the dependency or negative side effects of caffeine.
The last paragraph was written by me in the old deleted post. I only quoted cursively for the reader because it was out of the context from the main post written by me.
I wrote the last paragraph last year in a different discussion related to Iron as well as Namjoon‘s and Yoongi’s lyrics.
Onion tea, chicken broth and other "alternative medicine", as you call it, is totally different story. But I'll rather not start about pharma companies and their drugs. A topic for a different thread.
