Jesus paid the price for our PAST sins, NOT to give us the freedom to continue sinning with impunity. Then Jesus died for our sins and through repentance we got forgiveness...........Jesus even talked about how the pharisees were obsessed with laws yet failed to believe he was the Messiah.
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath fore-ordained [to be] an atonement through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins THAT ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God;
Jesus talked about how the pharisees were obsessed with their own made-up rules and traditions, which made the Commandments of God (The Law) of NO effect. This should leave no doubt that the scribes (lawyers) and pharisees (politicians) were NOT keeping God's Law.
Matthew 15:1-3, 6, 9
15:1 Then came to Jesus lawyers and politicians, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the Tradition of the Elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the COMMANDment of God by your Tradition?
15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, [he shall be free]. Thus have ye made the Commandment of God of none effect by your Tradition (Talmud).
15:9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men (man-made legislation/traditions/religious superstitions).
Oh really? So you're now claiming that Christians keep The Law? Because there is no other way to be free from sin.The verse you quoted doesn't add to your point since christians are free from sin.
John 8:25 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the prisoner of sin.
Agreed. The wages of sin is death.
Agreed. True repentance requires one to STOP SINNING/BREAKING THE LAW (to "go and sin no more, lest a WORSE thing happen to you": The Fire). And death can be avoided through accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and repenting.
Where does it say that in the Bible? NOWHERE. It actually says the exact opposite throughout Scripture. We ought to OBEY God ONLY.You can follow ALL the laws in the bible yet that doesn't grant you eternal life.
Why would anyone who doesn't believe God do what God COMMANDS us to do? THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FAITH WITHOUT WORKS.There are people who dont even believe in God yet still live according to God's commandements. Faith/belief does and through belief you will do what God commanded you to do.
James 2:22, 26
2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and BY WORKS was faith (trust in God) MADE PERFECT?
2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD also.
No, that's what you are implying by promoting the fantasy that Christ is a liar and a hypocrite, which has already been explained to you several times in detail. So you are thus far unrepentant and still lying about what was actually shared with you.He said "Go and sin no more" you're saying its encouraging it.
If thats the case then what you are implying is that the entire bible encourages all kinds of wrongs.
No, that's what Satan has put into your mind to write, to try to discredit The Law, all of which COMMANDS us not to steal anything from anyone else, including their life, wife, livelihood or their material possessions.Even in the commandments. "Thou shall not steal". I guess that means I should according to you.
Of course Jesus Christ never condoned adultery. That's why we KNOW the story of the adulterous woman was fabricated and added to the Bible by the RCC, in direct violation of The Law..What the women did thereafter, I do not know. But Jesus Christ never condoned what she did.
Agreed.I'm tired at this point, being ignorant is a choice.
You've had your errors pointed out to you multiple times, and choose to ignore the truth that has been shared with you, while attacking the messenger for delivering it.I won't reply herafter I've made my point multiple times.
Thank-you. Likewise.May God show you the truth.
