@Resistor
There are pedos from all religious beliefs.
Its not an exclusive thing to any one religion.
Lots of creepy crap all over the world going on......
I'm not talking about pedos, I'm talking about the apparent "slut-shaming", it's a very very Christian phenomenon and exposes an underlying pathology AND hypocrisy in the Christian mind. It's extended phemonemon in secular west culture is still Christian in nature, such ideas could never come out of an atheist culture (which would not place so much social dogma on such things).

I agree. Men in general have proven time and time again that they cannot control their testosterone, or sex drive. Just look at the National sex registry—all men. All convicted of horrendous sex crimes. Are men “shamed” for this fact? Of course not! I don’t understand why us women are “slut shamed!”
Madonna vs whore complex. A way for them to compartmentalize their misogyny.
Wouldn’t you think men would be happy women are into sex?!
It's really disturbing when women have to play "hard to get" to not be labelled as "sluts" or "easy". It really says a lot about gender relations and what our society thinks of enthusiastic consent.

Don’t you ever get tired of thinking about this stuff all the time?

Thanks for the more complete answer without making it sexist. We all wish our partner had fewer relationships. That's why I won't visit a hooker. It's bad enough that she's probably been with someone else, much less 20 min. ago.
That’s cool; also, speaking of prostitutes, I’ve known a few and they really really hate their “work,” their clients, and even worse, themselves for subjecting themselves to being essentially molested and raped for (usually) not that much money, or she/he cannot keep all of their hard earned money due to the fact that they are working for an “escort agency,” or have to pay for “protection,” or a “house fee” per client. One girl who worked for an escort service told me they took half of the money per client!! I am a female, but I’d never, ever pay for sex because I already inherently know that the prostitute is doing this against her/his own will, and it was all an act. I know I got off topic; sorry; just wanted to say to you that I think it’s pretty thoughtful of you to say you’d never see a prostitute. My friend who escorted was so jaded by the lifestyle that she felt like EVERY guy pays for sex, and she told me she now hates and will never fully trust a man to date again! I was hoping she was wrong in her thinking; you’ve proven that she was. Have a good day! :)

...people make assumptions based on women's outifts also, to determine whether or not she's sexually promiscuous.
Right, I briefly dated a 'Barbara' who always turned up on dates in oldfashioned victorian dresses and hideous flat shoes to signal to me that she wasn't interested in sex. I bought her a pair of stylish high heels to try to spice her up a bit but she refused pointblank to wear them so we split.
Pity because I was going to buy her a Wonder Woman outfit later..

How couldn’t a prostitute not be jaded about sex? She only interacts with men in a perverse and negative sense. It’s not an honorable profession..that’s for sure.

Jesus in action again rescuing a naughty girl from the mob-

"On yer bikes, she's with me! Hold your head up baby"
"Thanks JC, shall we go for a pizza?"

Nah mate, Jesus used to go around rescuing naughty women from stone-throwing mobs..:)-
The story about the adulterous woman was very obviously fabricated and then added to the Bible (specifically to John 8) by the RCC, to call Christ a liar and a hypocrite, and to open the door to everyone feeling comfortable about committing adultery. It's so bad now people actually think it's glamorous, which is why it's now referred to as having an "affair".

Right, I went with a few prossies in my younger days but hated it because it was so cold and loveless so I quickly gave it up.

1- PROVE it was a fabricated story.. :p

2- As a single man, married women have fluttered their lashes at me over the years but I've never accepted their invitation because i could never in a million years want to get involved with a married woman, I'd feel absolutely uncomfortable.
I can't explain it but it must be hard-wired into my DNA, I dunno.
The most I could do would be to invite them to my place for a cup of tea or a stroll along the seafront or around town if they were feeling depressed and lonely or if their hub was a washout, and maybe I'd give her the odd hug but nothing more than pure friendship.

Jesus always had a soft spot for women, whether they were naughty or not..

It's almost as if he knew they'd be there for him at the end, so he made sure he was always there for them when he was alive..

Please see the following links, in no particular order, regarding the story of the adulterous woman, which was fabricated and then added to the Gospel of John:-

http://www.bible-researcher.com/adult.html

http://www.gotquestions.org/John-7-53-8-11.html

http://www.bibleodyssey.org/passages/main-articles/woman-caught-in-adultery.aspx

There is no question the story of the adulterous woman was added to the Bible because it was NOT present in the original texts, and only appeared later.

Along with the truth pointed out by Biblical scholars that the story of the adulterous woman was:

1) not present in the original texts of the Gospel of John;

2) doesn't match the writing style of the rest of the Gospel of John; and

3) interrupts the flow of the story being told in the verses before and after it,

there are several other reasons we can be CERTAIN it was added later, including:

4) the passage contradicts Christ's statement about The Law found in Matthew 5:17-19 (i.e. if the story about the adulterous woman happened as we're told, it is calling Christ a liar);

5) the passage contradicts itself by claiming only a woman was caught in the act of adultery [it takes two to “tango” and the penalty in The Law is that BOTH the man and the woman caught in the act have committed a capital offence (Lev. 20:10)]; and

6) the passage contradicts itself by claiming Jesus let the woman caught in the act of adultery go, while at the same time telling her to “go and sin no more”. If it's really okay to commit adultery, then why tell her to stop doing it? In other words, if there's no penalty for sinning (breaking The Law – 1 John 3:4), then there's no incentive for anyone to stop sinning/breaking The Law, i.e. stop being a criminal.

The REAL reason the story of the adulterous woman was added was to be used to supposedly grant people the licence to commit all the abominations of the Earth (Rev. 17), even though Christ Himself said heaven and earth would pass away before the slightest change to The Law would take place (Matt. 5:18).

We have even further proof in the FACT that today, as a result of man's refusal to keep and enforce The Law, adultery has been re-packaged as “having an affair” and is not only dealt with “leniently” under man-made rules, it's encouraged (and even glorified).

This has caused BILLIONS of broken homes and untold amounts of suffering, as children are often caught in-between feuding parents, and brought up in an environment that fosters selfishness, infidelity and conflict (hatred really), instead of love and teamwork to overcome all obstacles. And it trains the children to repeat the same mistakes as their parents, perpetuating this hatred and suffering in a never-ending cycle.

2- As a single man, married women have fluttered their lashes at me over the years but I've never accepted their invitation because i could never in a million years want to get involved with a married woman, I'd feel absolutely uncomfortable.
I can't explain it but it must be hard-wired into my DNA, I dunno.
Because you know, deep inside, on a spiritual level, that it is WRONG. It's a capital offense under The Law.

The most I could do would be to invite them to my place for a cup of tea or a stroll along the seafront or around town if they were feeling depressed and lonely or if their hub was a washout, and maybe I'd give her the odd hug but nothing more than pure friendship.
Good for you.

Logic it out mate- WHY on earth would anybody want to insert a bit of "fake news" into the bible saying Jesus went around rescuing adulteresses?
No offence, but you're not a muslim by any chance are you? After all they're the ones who like to kill naughty girls!
Below: Jesus showing how to treat women proper-

If you're genuinely interested in understanding what logic really is, then please reread what was shared with you, after you asked for proof the story of the adulterous woman was added to the Bible. You were even provided with the reason it was inserted, which it appears you ignored. Logically, Christ is NOT a liar, nor does He promote evil, criminal behavior, as you should know.

So you're wrong. And worse yet you're out hatefully encouraging women to feel good about being prostitutes, adulterous women and/or fornicators ("naughty girls"), based on a very obvious lie about an incident we can be absolutely certain never happened. A real man would admit his error, and strive to make amends so he doesn't intentionally mislead others.

And no, I'm not a member of the organized religion known as Islam.

I don’t think there is a double standard. Women and men who sleep around. I mean to each their own.

I’ve been with 2 women. My wife included. The 1st was a high school sweetheart who actually got into prostitution. She sadly committed suicide leaving behind a baby boy. Someone who’ll never know his mother growing up.

Instead of labeling people as sluts, whores etc. We should offer encouragement to those who turn to sex to survive. Honestly if they can make money, power to them. I just think anyone is capable of more than selling their body like that

1- As I've told you before mate, your posts are a bit too long because you fire a big blunderbuss of quotes at us which we simply don't have the time to untangle-

By contrast, my own discussion style is to fire single carefully-aimed quotes like sniper shots that are easy to understand.
As a great prophet once said-
"This is this!"

Here's one I like-
"The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?" (Ecc 6:11)

2- Regarding prostitutes/ adulteresses, although Jesus certainly wouldn't condone their actions, that doesn't mean he or we should ignore them if they need our help.
For example a shivering soaking wet prossie once stopped me in the street one cold rainy night and asked if she could come home with me for a cup of tea, so I said "Course you can sweetheart, i'll put the kettle on"
and she lay down in front of the radiator to dry off. (And before you ask, no, we didn't do anything naughty.)
Another time my doorbell went gone midnight and it was another prossie, "A man just beat me up" she tearfully mumbled, so I invited her in, cranked up the old kettle and gave her my bed for the night. "You can get in with me if you like" she mumbled, but I made some excuse not to, boy am I weird!.
With hindsight I should have got in just to cuddle her like a father figure til she fell asleep, so in that respect I let her down (sniffle).

To sum up, Jesus didn't shun naughty gels and neither do I..:)

SNOOTY PRIEST- "Jesus of Nazareth, alias the Christ, the Messiah and the Son of God, you stand accused of associating with naughty girls, how do you plead?"
JESUS- "On yer bike Jack!"

Jesus said to the chief priests and elders- "The tax collectors and prostitutes are entering my Father's kingdom ahead of you" (Matt 21:31)
