There was a scientist by the name of R. Foster, whose work has long been since destroyed, who said in 1965, that we can't land on the moon because it is made of plasma, and is not made of solid rock.

American astronauts did really visit the Moon in 1969, the head of Roscosmos, the Russian space corporation, has confirmed.

Speaking to the State Duma, Yuri Borisov publicly revealed that Roscosmos has confirmed proof that the US sent humans to the Moon.

"As for whether the Americans were on the Moon or not, I have one fact to share,” he said. “I was personally interested in this matter. At one time, they provided us with a portion of the lunar soil that the astronauts brought back during their expedition.”

According to Borisov, the lunar soil provided by the United States underwent thorough examination by the Russian Academy of Sciences. The analysis confirmed that the sample was indeed from the Moon.

Borisov confirmed the authenticity of the lunar soil delivered by the Apollo missions

According to the Director General of Roscosmos, NASA handed over soil samples from one of its manned missions to Soviet colleagues

MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. The soil brought by American astronauts from the surface of the Moon as part of the Apollo missions in the 1960s and 1970s of the last century is indeed lunar. This was announced by Roscosmos Director General Yuri Borisov at a plenary session of the State Duma.

The head of the state corporation answered the question of one of the lawmakers about whether there were actually American astronauts on the Moon. According to him, NASA handed over soil samples from one of its manned missions to Soviet colleagues. "According to the examination of our Academy of Sciences, the lunar soil turned out to be lunar," Borisov said.

The United States sent the Apollo 11 spacecraft to the moon using a Saturn V launch vehicle on July 16, 1969. The expedition's descent vehicle made the first ever landing on the Moon on July 20 of the same year. Two astronauts then landed on the surface of the Earth's natural satellite: spacecraft commander Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) and lunar module pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (born in 1930).

In the five flights that followed, there were also successful landings of astronauts on the Moon. The last of them was in 1972, by the crew of Apollo-17. In total, 12 American astronauts visited the Moon as part of six expeditions. Over 180 kg of lunar soil samples were delivered to Earth."
