It is a topic that many Christians think and read about though, otherwise there wouldn't be so many blogs and YouTube clips on it.

When I did a site:.edu search there seemed to be a few results which mentioned portrayals of African-American women. Is this teaching more common in USA churches?

I'm not sure about the USA, in Canada it's fairly normal I assume.
