I am sorry you are going through a rough time brother. This world can be so hard. I think there is more of a satanic presence in this land then there ever has been which means more prayer is required just to arrive at the peace of God. I was super depressed not that long ago despairing life. That is how Satan operates, especially against Gods people. He goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He would have sifted Peter like wheat if he could have. He uses those fiery darts to penetrate into your spirit.

It wasnt until I got rid of all my idols and fully surrendered to God that I began to feel more at peace. I believe that with this satanic presence rising the only true peace we will have will be through abiding in Christ and not quenching the holy ghost. If we quench the holy spirit we also quench the joy of the spirit and we becomore more vulnerable to Satans attacks. We leave a chink in our spiritual armor.

Idk your situation as there is just so much I cant see, but I will lift you up in prayer. If you have facebook there are allot of prayer groups online you can join. They have been a tremendous help for me as we all need covering in prayer. Get any prayer covering you can these days.

In Jesus name I pray that every demonic plot, plan, strategy, and assignment the enemy has set against you would be destroyed and brought to ruin. I pray God would fill you with the fruit of the spirit and give you an even greater measure of the holy ghost. I pray he would add to your faith and give you a revelation of his deep and immense love for you. I pray these things in Jesus name!

Good advice and support above. Exercise, fresh air, sunlight, all great. I will add one thing which I wish someone could've told me many years ago. Check, very thoroughly, your nutrition. The food and drink we eat can have a massive effect on your mood. They have been altered significantly, perhaps deliberately so. If you have an intolerance, then finding it can have a huge impact on your physical and mental health.

Sending best wishes your way.

According to several doctors, taking magnesium glycinate is effective in treating depression...

I think it is healthy and normal to sometimes feel depressed. The doctors and pharmaceutical companies just want to capitalize on this phenomenon and produce various pills that are supposed to be a cure but actually make things worse and that have a lot of bad side effects. If someone never gets depressed I would wonder if perhaps something could be wrong.

They've been "medicating" human beings in the last decades... claiming "clinical findings" for some concocted "illnesses".

Yes, prescribing medications even for being "sad" at times...calling it "clinically" as "depression..."

I'd try natural ways of treatment as antidepressants have lots of side effects. Though if a person has suicidal thoughts, it is better to take meds.
I also vote for natural remedies, but in the cases when it's possible. Because one should understand that depression is a disease that should be treated correctly. When my sister got depressed, no one took it seriously and thought her bad mood would pass away soon. Finally, my sis needed a therapy, cause she drowned in those feelings. Fortunately, we found a good clinic on the https://bоokinghealth.com/blog/medical-tourism/hospitals-rankings/301079-top-10-best-german-hospitals.html website and she got a proper psychodynamic therapy. So don't ignore feelings and address the specialists even if you think it's not a serious problem. It's better to prevent the worst scenario in advance.

This is an unpopular opinion, but have you taken into consideration the things you consume with your mind? People today feed their minds straight garbage with depressing music about heartbreak and mistakes, tv and movies about bad people doing bad things, typically glorifying the evil doers and making the victims seem like chumps … not to mention the news and social media. Garbage in, garbage out? Speaking from experience and not hypocritically… I have suffered from depression most of my life and I never felt much relief from it until I began reading the Bible more and slowly began losing my taste for the horror movies and books I used to love, the depressing music I thought was so profound… it’s amazing how much better one can feel when more discerning about what’s let inside your mind.

Kindly advise your opinion on what to do when the individual him/her self isn't agreeing or coming to terms of the fact that they might be depressed. (Not coming to terms and acknowledgement because of the stigma and taboo). And, unfortunately, the calendar dates keep marching on regardless they acknowledge depression or not.

Yes
The world programs us to feel hopelessness so that we feel we can do nothing

But we can, do not lose hope
You are precious and unique, focus outside yourself on the difference you can make

They want you to look within and despair
Rebel against the programing look outside yourself and hope

Like buddhists say - "If there is a solution to the problem then why worry and if there is no solution to the problem then why worry?".
I heard in China in some remote region it was common for people to live 140-150 years old and they all shared one same thing -none of them ever worried about anything.Didnt ever even occur to them to try it,seemed like some nonsense waste of time.
But they probably lived in a steady, stable and safe environment so they really did not have much to worry about.
Compared to this insanity that we have to face.
One thing that keeps us sane is diversity of activity .Get hobbies, try something new etc.The more unselfish the activity, the better (go clean garbage from beach and dont brag about it later on social media kind of activities.or plant trees ).
Being stuck in the same cycle of activitys for too long can be quite damaging and can say the same for having no activities/hobbies/forms of self improvement at all .Soul wants to grow through experiences and if u deny it experience it will get upset. Its gonna build up pressure.
"Depression"- de-pressurisation.Depression is like a pressure that wants an outlet,an discomfort in the soul/inner world because something is not right with our soul/inner world or with the outside world.Something is out of balance/not in harmony with its surroundings or soul is not happy with our activities. Are you depressed about things happening around you or things happening inside you?We cant control the outside world but we should try to learn how to evolve and control our inner one.
How to de-pressurize from depression ? Some beat their wives, some ride with bicycle, some read a book-different outlets for different kinds of people.I guess the more we evolve the less there will be distress in our soul.Or as M.P Hall puts it - "We grow from within. And as we grow stronger from within, the adversities from outside become less."
Another nice quote from him -
"Life is a series of small victories over doubts, uncertainties, temptations. Wherever there is a victory there is another flash of light in the soul body. And gradually this body becomes luminous like the Christmas tree."
