"War is the number one cause of environmental destruction."~Anon

Most of the articles on this subject are a little dated, nevertheless, its something that most people are aware of, affects us all, one way or another and will continue to, when not if, war with Iran goes hot, and should generate discussion.

Are US Munitions to Blame for Basra Birth Defects?

"It sounds at first as if the old man were drunk. Or perhaps as though he had been reading Greek myths. But Askar Bin Said doesn't read anything, especially not books, and there is no alcohol in Basra. In fact, he says, he saw the creatures he describes with his own eyes: "Some had only one eye in the forehead. Or two heads. One had a tail like a skinned lamb. Another one looked like a perfectly normal child, but with a monkey's face. Or the girl whose legs had grown together, half fish, half human."
The babies Askar Bin Said describes were brought to him. He washed them and wrapped them in shrouds, and then he buried them in the dry soil, littered with bits of plastic and can lids, of his own cemetery, which has been in his family for five generations. It's a cemetery only for children."

"By firing radioactive ammunition, the U.S., U.K., and Israel may have triggered a nuclear holocaust in the Middle East that, over time, will prove deadlier than the U.S. atomic bombing of Japan.
So much ammunition containing depleted uranium(DU) has been fired, asserts nuclear authority Leuren Moret, “The genetic future of the Iraqi people for the most part, is destroyed.”

Can't really blame the journalist that threw his shoes at GWB, now can I?
Iran seems to be under a ten-pronged attack. With subdued neighbours on the left and right, Afghan opium is pouring into the border towns and leaving a trail of destruction adding to the DU blown into the country.

"Iran has one of the highest declines of fertility in the world, from 8+ children per woman before Chernobyl in 1986, to less than two children per woman by 2002, and continuing to decline over the past decade.
The astounding increase in Iranian deaths in 2006-07, was 3.6 million, a seemingly inexplained 4.7% drop in population in a single year. In the same time period many thousands of camels died throughout the Middle East and North Africa, 5,000 alone in Saudi Arabia and no known cause.
Such a catastrophic and acute phenomenon in both humans and animals indicates an environmental cause . Forensic evidence is now emerging that Iran has been the target of a covert nuclear war since 1990, carried out by the US and the UK from Iraq and Afghanistan."

To this day the Miltary asserts that the danger is completely overblown with depleted uranium. And I think they are right.

First of all they use depleted uranium in many different things. They put it in tank armor, medical equipment and there's even some uranium in our bodies right now. And from what I've read, a person would literally need to be molesting those DU shells to get radiation poisoning.

The real concern is that the DU shells ignite on impact. But again, you would literally need to be sitting next to whatever is burning to get sick from it. It's just not releasing that much radiation. Now I'm not saying there is no problem with this because there is. But let's not pretend there's a nuclear holocaust going on.

Caption under video:
The US used the worldwide illegal Depleted Uranium ammunition. Not only thousands of new born baby have gen defects making their life to hell, also US and allied soldiers are contaminated with the radioactive dust endangering their future life and their new born babies.

The hundreds of places in Iraq will be radioactivite contaminated for 4,5 million years!

Warhead Lab Leaks Killed Thousands In The Fukushima Disaster

I couldn't help but notice that Fukushima-released radioactive elements are also "gladly" used by the fracking industry. So, you not only have Fukushima radiation hitting the West coast and spreading out east but also add fracking to the equation, disregarding Corexit, used after the BP oil spill.
