Is this the start of the walking dead?
Idk, but woe to survivalists, and shame on those who hunt captive deer.
Mad cow disease (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), also transmitted by prions, is widely believed to stem from the cost-cutting practice of feeding cows to cows. Similarly, CWD may have man-made origins.

Regarding our earlier conversation, there may be some basis to examine some early-onset Alzheimer's cases to see if they are actually prion diseases. Things like 'mad cow' can take a while to manifest. I remember the last scare I was either in late middle school or early high school so between 2002-2005 if my memory ( heh ) serves me correctly.

Do you know if early onset cases ( those under 65 ) of Alzheimer's have the same 3-11 life average?

If it is it doesn't really fit with a prion disease like mad-cow, according to the CDC anyway

"vcjd occurs almost exclusively in persons less than 55 years of age. a median illness duration of 13–14 months from symptom onset until death follows an incubation period that has been estimated to be about 17 years"

https://stacks.cdc.gov/view/cdc/4277

Worth noting that CJD appears in the X-Files in a patient of Dr. Scully.

and in an Arkansas town in a 95' episode regarding canniablism

Ahh.. so you're a recent graduate. There may be time for you then. That's good news.

And, yes-- I thought it had been longer than that, but I'm not certain. It may very well be a factor. o________O

Is twelve years really that recent?

I don't know. There are things you can do now to combat Alzheimer's. Anything that creates new (I think they're called) neural pathways... crossword puzzles, etc. My doc told me that.

Yeah brain exercises may help prevent/slow down the disease, but its not going to cure it once you get it. Since I am a little genetically paranoid about getting it I think I'll buy a crossword book lol, thanks. :). Hell, Nicotine may prevent Alzheimer's (that's how im going to justify smoking until my birthday anyway )

But I will see if I can find accurate statistics regarding early onset cases and see if they are comparable to vCjd ( of which mad cow is ) data.

I've always been interested in this subject though, the fact that it can lay dormant for 17 years means there could be a wave of prion diseases, any day now.

With the wave of dementia now occurring, I'm wondering how many of those cases are actually these cases. The real deal is that if we are driven to the field for whatever reason cause no more supermarkets, then eating meat is gonna be a dicey proposition. But you gotta eat and there's not much salad growing in the woods. It would not surprise me if this not a natural thing in nature and more something out of Plum Island. As one scientist exclaimed, the prion looks like something from an alien world. Unnatural.

After all, deer don't eat deer. And it's also in the sheep, elk, caribou and moose. Highly infectious when on the ground, which kinda reminds me of parvovirus in dogs. Parvo is very hearty and can survive for like 6 months on the ground and can infect by inhalation. It's a stone cold killer for unvaccinated dogs. However some dogs have immunity to it. Is this the case for the game and the prions, too? Could a hearty virus like Parvo be used to vector the prion payload into a host animal. I dunno-that's X-Files sh*t there. Either way, the game in the field is screwed and we are too if we have to eat it. But there'll be crops you say? Who will have incentive or means to grow them if they can't sell them? But hey, the meek (and senile) inherit the earth, right? Not a bunch of meat eating savages, right? You know who's meek? Robots. Robots are meek. They only do what they're told. Think about it.

Seems I do remember reading that autoclaves can't kill it when sterilizing instruments so hey, good times man, good times (you just may not be able to remember them eventually). Here's the thing: if the grocery store goes away, whatcha gonna do? You could go for fish, but eventually every hole (and even the ocean) gets fished out. Bugs and berries?

See, I dunno if there's anything to those Georgia Guidestones (there is absolutely something to those Georgia Guidestones), but don't forget about all those eugenicists and depopulation friendly "elites"-do you think they just went away? Seeing as how we are in the Sixth Mass Extinction at the moment (which is surely manmade and I'm not even arguing about the weather-it's pollution and poisons and oil and nuclear spills along with shifting planet instability, too). So as you should be able to easily see, everything is being poisoned somehow in one way or another. Covering all the bases. Now comes the 5G radiation. So as you can see, to them we are now just Hot PocketsTM.

In all of history, while we claim civilization, have you ever seen as big a disregard for human life (and life in general) or for the planet even. It's all one big continuing rob, r*pe, and pillage scheme with apparently our end in sight. These people want to kill everything to get everything because in the end it's just some giant f*cked up corporate mantra in play that is now planetwide. A death cult/mafia. It's like somebody turned Galactus loose on this place. They won't stop til it's stripped.

Once the bees are gone, it's down to 4 years. Oh, I'm sure there will be frankenfood from Monsanto etc. (look ma-no bees!), but wouldn't that either be the final poison are some kinda Soylent Green to keep the slaves fed? You know, the ones they keep as pets cause the robots and computers are doing everything else the humans used to do? People will be easier to own than dogs and cats and easier to train, too. One day it's gonna be a status symbol again as civilization devolves and dies only to be reborn in the dark.
See, to these "people", humans were ultimately just ants in the afterbirth of their new shiny technocracy. We are rendered obsolete.

As I said, these people never went away and they don't intend on sticking around. They are planning to either go up high, down low, or sideways into some type of cyborg body they can DL their consciousness into. I know, sounds crazy, right? Yeah well they thought eugenics was cool too, sterilizing "feeble minded" people, and the Germans bought into it so much that they euthanized like 46,000 people before going on to <ahem> bigger and badder things. See, people thought this was SANE. And that is what lies at the heart of all these "elites" who get behind things like this: I dunno if it's the intermarrying between these families or if they're just demons in disguise, but they are stone cold, f*cknuts crazy. And they keep breeding crazy. Crazy with money too, God help us all.

Anyway, in my neighborhood I tell my neighbors to watch out for the rabbits when they hop across the street cause one day we may need to eat them and it would be nice to have a healthy population of them. So be vewwy vewwy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits...
