During an interview with CNN on Thursday, Operation Warp Speed Chief Adviser Dr. Moncef Slaoui stated that there will likely be “tens of millions of doses” of a coronavirus vaccine “in December and January,” and is “optimistic that we will have vaccines for everybody within the year 2021, ideally within the first half of the year 2021.” Slaoui also said he believes the vaccine will be “highly efficacious. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s in the 90%.”

Slaoui said, “We will probably have a few tens of millions of doses in December and January, and probably it will be appropriate to immunize those individuals at the highest risk of severe disease with the COVID virus. But I am optimistic that we will have vaccines for everybody within the year 2021, ideally within the first half of the year 2021. That’s our objective.”

He also stated, “It’s very hard to predict, of course. That’s why we’re doing the trial. My personal opinion, based on my experience and the biology of this virus, I think this vaccine’s going to be highly efficacious. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s in the 90%. I think the question that’s open is for how long will the vaccine afford efficacy.”

testing and determining risk before traveling to a foreign country is no different than getting the required vaccines to travel. Have you ever been anywhere that required getting a vaccine to enter? Have you ever been anywhere that required a visa in addition to a passport?

what ai would do is ask and answer question about risk to determine who needs to be tested. If a certain criteria of risk turns up a negative result frequently, machine learning can change so that this criteria is no longer a trigger for testing. That’s it. Ai still has boundaries. The computer can’t start learning to impersonate you by looking up your profile and build its own robotic body to replace your identity after studying you in order to determine whether you were high risk for coronavirus.

machine learning is based on the history of the study of probabilities. I don’t know why the biographies of former mathematicians have always been so interesting to me, but I have especially loved the biographies of those who pursued the study of probability and that is basically all this technology is.

you technically use probabilities all the time too, which is evidenced by who you feel you can trust and not trust. You have gathered data and you measure new experiences according to this data That suggests whether there is a high or low probability that someone could be trusted.

you could even benefit from automating this process to produce more accurate data and trends regarding the things you don’t trust because you only have so much ability to capture every reference to The Who that’s available. A computer is going to be better with something mathematical like this and you would even benefit from ai that could screen thousands of references to The Who in order to find more accurate trends and things that could lead to identifying the deeper reasons for your suspicions that exist on the surface.

the problem is again political. It becomes a political position that if one side of the fence uses a technology, then objecting to this side of the fence requires supporting a prohibition of this technology and prohibition didn’t work well for alcohol and it won’t work well for machine learning.

the reality is that whether there is reason to have suspicion or not, there is a reason the things you are suspicious of are not out in the open. I believe in using this reality as an advantage. People who do shady things have to hide. I shouldn’t have to and there are millions of other people in this world who work and live with nothing to hide and no reason to question their pursuit of something even if it includes machine learning.

I gained this perspective from scripture. Jesus told the people that were coming to condemn him that he was in the temple all day. Why didn’t they come for him then? Because they had to hide that this was their objective.

unless you can find something that is not transparent in what I said or the article, don’t start trying to label it with science fiction conclusions that aren’t even technically based in reality in some respects. Did you know that many things that are imagined in science fiction books are not Actually things that can be accomplished in some cases? That’s how a lot of things around here sound and more often than not, people are not able to really convey how they think something can be accomplished at all. People around here could really use ai actually. It would probably really help some of you to get a grip on reality.

not to mention the fact that if we are to talk about whether technology is damaging or not, we should probably start with cars that produce mass amounts of pollution that is bad for the lungs. To really undo the corruption of technology, we would have to undo the last 100 years of history, but that would also require oppressing creativity.

Concern for human rights, concern about corrupt minds imposing their technology onto/into our body is not fear-mongering. yes, I will admit, I have a futurist mentality. It is more of an alternative one, which seems to often make me something of a black sheep no matter where I go.

I will lean in the direction and say everything you are saying is true. 5g is going to be used to control internal microchips, the whole nine yards.

however true this may be, this is rooted in a very outdated system of monopolization, and history can actually be used to show us how and why this system exists. What you are suggesting is really no different than Rockefeller getting control of oil or Edison gaining control of the energy market.

both introduced a technology when most people had no access to the education or means of distribution required to compete. The same is true today. When you say that bill gates poses a threat to the potential to maintain democracy going forward. This is the same thing as saying that he is capable of introducing technology where other people have no access to the education or means of distribution required to compete.

you can look at this from a hundred angles and it is really just the potential for history to repeat itself. Who writes the history books, the people with the required education and means of distribution needed to compete in this way.

so what humanity really needs to do, in my opinion, is similar to the strategy you would use in a race. When you get close to the finish line. You don’t slow down, you speed up and push yourself even more to win against those that are competing against you. Many of you feel you need to slow down technology development to win. I think we need to speed up the process of disseminating education and the opportunity to distribute for a larger number of people.

I believe technology can break up monopolies. I support hactivism in general over and above activism. I support the potential for technology to help disseminate education and opportunities that have easily become monopolized over the past hundred years. I have since I first came here.

from a conspiratorial standpoint, I think sex trafficking is a much bigger issue than anything I have seen posted about the Id2020 and I have asked about this more than once. If people are able to be trafficked from places and they end up disappearing, how do you hold anyone accountable if there is no way to verify their identity? There are millions of people who go missing and no one will able be able to prove they lived or died. This is a major problem in the world right now.

this question has been ignored more than twice and is one of the many reasons that I consider this thread spam at this point after asking many questions throughout about various things.

You can hold someone accountable that has an Id and sexual exploitation could be considered a primary reason to create misinformation, which is also not a new phenomenon. People are still carnal in a world thinking about 5g and whatever else. The only things that really matter are sex and money. Most everything else is a distraction trying to hide this reality.

WASHINGTON, United States — The US biotech firm Inovio reported encouraging preliminary results Tuesday from tests of an experimental coronavirus vaccine.
Administered to 40 volunteers, it triggered an immune system response in 94 percent of those who completed the so-called phase one clinical trial, meaning they received two injections, four weeks apart.
Inovio’s vaccine, called INO-4800, is designed to inject DNA into a person so as to set off a specific immune system response against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The medication is injected under the skin with a needle, then activated with a device that resembles a toothbrush, which delivers an electrical impulse for a fraction of a second, allowing the DNA to penetrate the body’s cells and carry out its mission.
Inovio, which is financed by the US Defense Department and the NGO CEPI, also said it has been included in US President Donald Trump’s plan to produce hundreds of millions of doses of the vaccine by January as part of Operation Warp Speed.

Inovio’s medication is the only DNA vaccine that is stable at room temperature for more than a year and does not need refrigeration for transport or storage for several years, said Inovio CEO Joseph Kim.
This is a big plus when it comes to vaccinating people in developing countries, where it is harder to maintain the cold chain needed to preserve many products.

A total of 23 COVID-19 vaccine projects have launched clinical trials on humans, says the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and several have moved to phase two or three, which means they are being injected into thousands or even tens of thousands of volunteers.

A vaccine created by the US biotech firm Moderna and one from Oxford University in collaboration with British-Swedish firm AstraZeneca are among those which are in the most advanced stages of development, as are several Chinese projects. These include one from the company CanSinoBIO, which has received permission to administer the vaccine to Chinese soldiers.

They’ve already radically transformed the economy. They’ve crashed businesses, put people out of work, they are giving out of work people extra printed money to live on and put a moratorium on evictions/foreclosures.
