I haven't yet seen a post or discussion about this woman and her potential connection to the darker side of the entertainment industry. So I've compiled some (what I think) are fair points to start a discussion;

For those who don't know, Colleen Ballinger is a YouTuber who has an alter ego, Miranda Sings. Colleen/Miranda has rose to YouTube fame with several million subscribers. She attracts a child to tween fanbase, as well as young adults and adults. Her content can appeal to a wide audience of different age brackets as the material of both her main channels PsychoSoprano and Miranda Sings are very obviously marketed towards children (the idea of dress ups, acting like a clown, complaining about her Mum, and other general childhood/tween behaviour), yet her sense of humour, discussion of adult themes and other visual elements on her channels seem to be wildly inappropriate for young viewers, but no one seems to be saying anything..

The reason for this post is due to the fact Ballinger is now rising to fame and being promoted in Hollywood, with various connections to some tell tale organisations/characters that for anyone awake can quickly join the dots to see she may possibly be a Hollywood puppet chosen from the beginning to rise to fame through YouTube - a new breed/platform for puppets? Is Sings/Ballinger brainwashing and winning the hearts of a large young audience to then follow her as her work throughout Hollywood continues?

Jerry Seinfield seemed to have been the first in Hollywood to have shown public interest in her, having her appear on his show 'Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee by Jerry Seinfeld'. Seinfeld and Ballinger then appeared together on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. Ballinger has also appeared on The View, Chelsea Handlers show for Netflix, as well as various American morning shows, just to name a few to promote her Original Netflix Series 'Haters Back Off', which Ballinger is said to be a Co-Producer. 'Haters Back Off' is now about to release a season 2.

I'm just going to post a bunch of screenshots here you guys can delve into it further from here. I'll just make a list here of things that strike as a bit suspicious;

  • Just before the press of her first season of Haters Back Off, Ballinger announced her sudden and unexpected divorce from her new husband and partner of around a decade, Josh Evans (also a YouTuber). Their relationship, marriage and divorce were all very public, and seemed very one-sided and against Josh's wishes, with a larger majority of fans claiming Ballinger was being unreasonable. The divorce was spoken of in various interviews when she was being announced as a new face in Hollywood - a possible sacrifice for fame? Was it even a genuine marriage?
  • In her early years Ballinger worked at Disney in various shows and still promotes the organisation and movies heavily in her content.
  • In the beginning of her YouTube days she was seen heavily connected to the now blatant Hollywood puppet Ariana Grande. She is still connected to the Grande family. They were promoted as very close friends. Ballinger even appearing in press photos with Grande holding her hand and labeled as 'Grande's mysterious gal pal' - early promotion? It had a definite 'purpose' for the shots of them appearing together. Ballinger's online and public persona mirrors Grande's in that 'sweet, relatable, darling' type way.. making viewers really love her. But Ballinger's humour and personality is not based on being innocent like Grande - she burps, farts, talks in detail about her toilet visits - etc.
  • Despite Miranda Sings appealing highly to young fans, she includes adult themes or suggestive vocabulary in her videos and shows including a "Daddy Saddle" which she uses to ride her uncle, talking about genitals, sexual activities and porn in a baby-like/juvenile language, uses repulsive, vulgar behaviour and dance moves and encourages young viewers to mimic her, including mimicking her strange suggestive vocab, as well as making faces with gaping mouths smeared with red lipstick reminiscent of sex acts and sexual vulgarity.
  • Sings is an alter ego and often sports kitten jumpers and animal print, with a butterfly strategically placed in the background of the 'Haters Back Off' promo trailer - the first ever image of Sings on TV.
  • Her sudden rush to fame - only those chosen or initiated are welcomed with open arms in Hollywood....

FULL VIDEO DISCUSSING THESE POINTS HERE:

I'll leave this post here but will probably add more points or screenshots shortly

I'm not saying I'm convinced of all this -- but her persona and entrance on the scene all seems very innocent and down to earth --- however being awake for several years now I'm conditioned to read the signs, traditions and rituals of Hollywood -- something is really telling me to watch this space.

in the video descriptions below, it says "Today I teach u how to ride a daddy saddle. I recomment using ur uncle or another strong man but today im using rahcel" (sic)

Rachel is her sister, who she then shows getting on all fours and Sings climbs all over her in sexual positions to "ride" her. Her next video is of her riding a child, a chicken and a dog.

This is an interesting and informative thread. Thanks for taking the time to research and paste this vile woman...

YouTube has become a grooming platform for many young kids and teenagers. The nature of most material I see is pretty shocking, it's like YouTube is more interested in making money than filtering its content.

I don't find Miranda sings at all humorous, she's a pathetic excuse for an adult and her voice and entire gimmick is inappropriate. How parents can allow their kids to watch her is beyond me, when my younger sister was 13 she used to watch this idiot religiously, she used to emulate her voice and copy the whole smudged lipstick look. I found it creepy and my parents started to monitor what she looked at online.

The issue is parents can't watch their kids 24/7, they're going to be in school or at local clubs where kids are talking about how cool this YouTube personality is. There's a popular guy here in the U.K. called KSI, his focus was sports but a lot of time he spoke candidly and openly about sex and women, what position they liked and his big 'penis'. His audience were similar to Miranda's, around pre teen to 17 year olds. Many YouTube personalities think it's cool to talk so openly about sex knowing their audience are kids...they just repeatedly say oh I'm not here to be a role model, but when you put yourself out there you are responsible for the content you upload and have to be wary of your impressionable audience

There are decent YouTubers but they don't have as much airtime and exposure as idiots like kSi and Miranda. Just to give you an idea of how sick and twisted KSI is, he asked his father (in front of his mother) if his mum liked his dick and whether she likes anal sex...I mean it doesn't get more immoral and disgusting than that. They're having a sex Q&A with their son, who's asking them inappropriate questions, just so they can rack up views on his channel. I mean it worked, he's a multi millionaire and he's well known here but his morals are vile and kids are watching him religiously...

I watch her sometimes... butI don't think she's a hollywood puppet. Also the Miranda character isn't really for young people, she's supposed to be an immature character who's still an adult and that's what makes it funny I guess. YouTubers can't really control what audience they attract to their content and young people on YouTube watch everything.

You're a young person who watches her but if her audience is older people, why is her content attracting young people like yourself?
Well, I'm not 8 years old... I'm mature and I can watch things and judge for myself whether they'd be bad or good for me. Also I'm not saying her audience is older people, I'm saying her videos might use adult humor but she can't stop young people from watching her videos because most people who are on youtube and become fans of youtube channels are children.

Also I moreso watch her regular channel where she's just herself and not in character.

Yah, I kind of see her as a way for mainstream media to try to control things like YouTube too. I think YouTube is so incredibly useful. There are videos for everything you need to know to fix your own car, whatever car you have. You can learn so many things. I love the college lectures that are posted online. I watched a computer architecture class from Carnegie Mellon earlier this year. So many good uses and then there is junk like this.

She is exceptionally annoying too. I can't understand how people can watch her for longer than it takes to realize how completely annoying she is. My gosh, watching her show is to realize that like 3 minutes of my life has been wasted with nothing to show for it.

it's because it's directed towards kids. It's not adult topics of interest. She focuses her main channel towards kids as well, thumbnails below. Her shows are theatres filled with kids and tweens squealing wearing lipstick. Conventions like vidcon are the same, the shows audiences are filled with young ones. She seems pretty comfortable appealing heavily to younger people. They're the ones buying her tickets and merch. Didn't VC recently post two main page articles pointing the spotlight on inappropriate youtube channels aimed towards predators under the guise of children's channels? The Colleen/Sings channels are doing the same, but targeting the young audiences with vulgar adult content. I'm not fully convinced she's a puppet yet, but if she's not, why are all the symbols there? Like I said in the original post - watch this space.

Didn't say you were 8 years old, the point was you're (I think) under 18 and presumably have been watching her for a while. It's not my business what you watch or do in your free time, but I'm simply trying to point out how you're living proof that her adult content is projected on to a younger audience. I don't mean to sound rude, but you are younger than many on here so you may not think her content is as terrible as I and others are making out, but it is and one day in future you'll have your own kids and be doing the same thing, trying to protect them from corruption and inappropriate rubbish

YouTubers do have some control over their audience. There are people who work with them to reach the demographic which generate the most views and revenue for all parties involved. They tailor their videos to reach a target market, I teach media and sociology for a living. One of the industries I considered going into was marketing but I changed my mind and thought the critical theory side was more interesting...I'd rather help decipher hidden messages in campaigns and educate people than encourage and aid the big companies in deceiving people and corrupting their minds

Just be wary of YouTube guys, it's not as cool as it once was, many on there are messed up and promoting a lot of rubbish. If any of you have kids or younger siblings/cousins/relatives just keep an eye on who and what they watch, you don't want them being influenced by shitty role models
