The Second Coming of Christ (as far as I know) is not a chance to repent. The time to repent is now, and during the Tribulation. But at the end of the Tribulation; at the 2nd Coming of Christ will be the destruction of the human wicked and the War between Jesus and Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet.

That's a broad brush, don't you think? Different contrived events are happening in different parts of the world to simply blame it on an energy crisis. You could make covid testing at a border crossing so expensive that truckers cannot afford it, who then decide to sit it out and the shortage leads to price rises in the country they were crossing into. You could pay farmers to destroy their produce, again a shortage leads to price rises. Blow up food processing facilities, etc. Real-world examples are too innumerable to list.
I haven't bothered to check but i guess oil-producing countries like Saudi Arabia or Nigeria are stalked by inflation aswell. TPTB are playing different games in different countries even as the end result is the same.

However, these "horses prepared unto battle" were flying (locusts fly), and so he was shown flying war-machines, that had what looked similar to a crown of gold on their heads; faces like the faces of men; breast-plates of metal; the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle; tails like scorpions with stings in them.

Do you mean when Christ sheds the body He's currently using during His Second Coming to gather the "Elect", and is seen "coming in the 'Clouds' with great glory" , with the heavenly host (aka the "eagles") to begin the reaping, that it will be too late for anyone to do anything to change their fate (i.e. repent) please?
Agreed that right now is the time to repent (stop sinning) and make ourselves ready for Judgment Day.

Just curious...
Yes, the righteous are going to be marked with a SEAL on their foreheads (Revelations 7:2-3) but the Unrighteous are also going to have a MARK on their foreheads or hand (Revelations 16:2, 19:20, 14:9). As in chapter 16 and the one you posted, those who have CHOSEN to get the mark are tormented and are subject to the 7 last plagues. But if you believe that a seal translates into telepathic communication with God, does that also mean that those who get the mark will be communicating with the devil telepathically? And to what end? Because you either have a mark or a seal...there is no middle ground.
Incidentally, "marking" of God's people has always taken place before widespread destruction. Ezekiel mentions this in chapters 8 & 9:3-6. People were marked on their foreheads by an angel. The Passover is also a famous example (Exodus 12:23), albeit the blood was on door posts. Does that, again, mean that the people in Ezekiel's account were telepathically communicating with God?

It's tragic that people, even Christians, will take the mark of the beast just so they can remain in a world that is slated for destruction. I guess hunger is such a powerful tool that get's you to rationalize the irrational.

Agreed. While the mark is spiritual -- one mark for the "Elect" and another for everyone else -- the mark can also be physical, e.g. being "chipped" (RFID, graphene oxide, etc.). The spiritual usually manifests itself in the physical, which is why people need to understand and learn to control what is going on in their own minds.
We will all be going through the last three woes; the first of which has already past, with the second now imminent, followed shortly thereafter by the third (Judgment Day), which will be the end for most of mankind.
Everyone on Earth is in telepathic communication with the devil, whether they realize it or not. In fact, it's the default mode on this planet. That's why the world is filled with "sinners" (i.e. criminals: those who break God's Law -- 1 John 3:4).
What we all need to be striving to do at this late hour is to break our bad habits, and learn to listen to that small, still voice of reason (God/Good) instead of listening to the devil/evil. Despite the world being literally FILLED with evil and violence and lawlessness, people still grossly underestimate the power of the devil, who has helped create, co-opted and controls ALL of the major institutions here in hell/earth.
That begins by reading and studying The Law that God gave us, to protect us from all of this evil and to set and keep us free and, in so doing, follow the Example of all of the Prophets, until we are enough like Jesus to be released from this prison planet for the criminally insane.
The influence of Lucifer/Satan/the devil will only end once he has gone into The Fire. Until then he will continue to influence all of the world's major institutions (governments, organized religions, the courts, banks/financial institutions, medical-pharmaceutical, etc.) and virtually all of mankind on a personal level too.
The battlefield is, and always has been the mind. Satan is able to influence the mind through the human/flesh (the ego/"self"), offering it temporary worldly pleasures and treasures, that usually come at the expense of giving up doing the right thing. Satan disguises himself as the ego, conning people into believing that he is you, and that you have to have this or that, or do this or that to get what you want. So what people believe is their own selfish desire is actually what Satan wants them to do, because it keeps them from doing God's Will.
Of course God can guide and teach the spirit-Being (Soul) inside the body, which should be learning to recognize the origin of each thought as it enters the battlefield/mind (to see if it is from Father/God or from Satan/the devil) and then learn to control the mind by jetting the evil thoughts and pursuing the good. God's Will begins with keeping His Law (Commandments, Statutes and Judgments), which help cultivate a better understanding of Him that, in turn, guides us and teaches us in the moment.
While it really is this simple (choose good and life over evil and death), it isn't easy, which is why so few choose to do it.

And regardless of how calloused it may sound, the lethal injection/magic virus jab is part of the sorting out process, giving everyone free-will to choose whether they will voluntarily poison themselves in what should be an extremely obvious test, or see it truthfully for what it really is: a physical mark of the beast/satanic system.
Subsequent events will become more and more obvious, as part of the awakening process, so that the (spiritually) deaf may hear and the (spiritually) blind may see.
