For those who are skeptical or believers that want to defend their faith, here are a few websites I recommend. Feel free to add your own recommendations as well :)

One thing I have found is that in dealing with tough questions you are obliged to dig in and find answers to questions you might never have considered!

I ended up being encouraged to dig into the authenticity of the Bible. I can't begin to say what a favour some of the more hostile contributors have given me in trying to get me to look at the supposed "corruption" of the Bible. What I found out was quite the opposite!

I found the resource below invaluable!

The Bible says to be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, and nothing has made me more ready than defending the faith here and other places. Praise God we can trust that his word is truth!

Maybe it's just me, but I think the stronger your faith, the less you need to defend it.

I've had a similar experience.. much digging, indeed!
What surprises me is the number of people who only believe in one of the testaments, and not the other.
And the people who say, "Oh, I've read the bible. The God in the OT is clearly not the same God that's in the NT."
Like it's a novel. o_O

Indeed.

The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.'

St. Augustine

Maybe defend is a odd word to use. I've read a lot of Apologetics-- I love CS Lewis (God in the Dock, the Case for Christ). Helped me wrap my head around things I found confusing. Other times, it just illuminated what I knew intellectually, but hadn't made my own. Good stuff. :)

I was aware of that possibility early on. Many people I knew were shallow in their mental process and whilst they had a little faith, they would construct a safe zone around their thinking and not look at the big picture in case it injured the faith that was precious to them. I can understand that view, rather like someone who enjoys apples avoiding being told they lived in the Matrix and apples were an illusion.

Truth has nothing to fear from examination any more than light needs to be afraid of darkness.

Christians are commanded to defend our faith.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Apologetics helps you understand a lot of things you already know no matter how strong your faith is.
