I might sound crazy. I followed bts interviews and preformances couple of years ago and I watched some new now. Guys, I think there's something in Jk, it's not him. I never thought he's innocent but it looks like there's somebody else in him, he behave 180° different. He became so arrogant and there's something in the eyes like somebody watching through his eyes really creepy especially when he looks at the fans. He looks so satisfied getting their energy like it's feeding him. I belive somebody in Namjyyuun too, but it's been there for a long time. With Jk it is something new. I know I sound so stupid but I feel it is not him anymore
He has grown up and is more ambitious. They have shared a video from the grammys and he is seen crying out of happiness when they were watching the performances during the award show. They are in love with this fame.

So remember how some of us were talking about that one part during JM's verse in the very beginning how girly he looked while dancing? I noticed in the new version of the video they zoomed in closer on him and he doesn't look as feminine doing the move. I guess they or whoever edited that way realized it too.

I am surprised so few of those who watch this group are commenting the poor mental state of Taehyung. This guy needs professional help, it has gone too far, he cant even mask it anymore. He is screaming for help. Look at the video below, he can’t hide the sadness in his eyes and trying really hard to hold back the tears. This came after someone asked him to upload a selfie with black hair on Twitter. Click on the links to see.

And he uploaded this:

And these recent pictures.

These are only a few, not to say he doesnt have happy moments, but he seems quickly reverts to a miserable state. Seriously someone needs to take him to a doctor if they already havent done that.

Unfortunately people want to act ignorant towards people's poor mental state not just saying that for him bc he's a celeb but in real life too. People ignore that someone may not be emotionally well and will make many excuses until it's too late.
Just bc someone laughs or still makes jokes here or there doesn't mean that they aren't suffering on the inside. People that suffer from depression and other mental illnesses are very good at masking what they're going through bc they feel ashamed and at fault for feeling the way they do.
Regarding him, he is a huge celeb, he's rich, his group is becoming bigger and bigger, and he has all the material things everyone in the world yearns. Imagine the guilt of someone who seemingly has everything but still feels depressed....
Not saying anyone should feel obligated to feel sorry for him, just giving my opinion...

I just wrote about it 2 days ago.. i have been watching closely the last few days, he does show more happier moments, some even look genuine. But you can tell he is bored, he hates the attention as the new heart throb everyone is gushing about - he now is the most popular member. JK is insanely happy all the time and Tae is really struggling. I also see less communication between him and the rest of the members. I do hope he gets help, they have a crazy schedule ahead and a tour in US

It is isnt really about sympathy, rather empathy. No need to feel sorry, but acknowledging/understanding that someone is troubled as a fellow human being. Celebrities (also those who work in finance) seem to be some of the worst victims, especially when they enter the industry young. He is far from the only one, yet I have to say that their fandom is extremely blind considering this, probably cause they are mostly very young. They have seen other exampes such as Justin Bieber, Britney etc.Seriously someone needs to take him to a doctor if they already havent done that. If his company were smart, they would do something about it, a depressed member is only a loss for them. Especially if it end up with more serious consequences such as a mental breakdown or suicide,

Also, there is like a tabboo among their loyal army to discuss his mental state. They see it as a breach of privacy. No need to acknolwedge their idol is worn out, lets swoon over how goregeous he looks with the dark hair ( and yes he really does but my heart aches for him)

Mental health (and sexual health for that matter) isn't something Korea cares about. I don't think the company will address it if they already treat them like slaves. He could be disposable to them. His friends and loved ones will have to help him get treatment if this is the case.

He is not bored in the strictest sense, it is detachment and a loss of interest in what he normally would like. as well as loss of focus. He could be at home and still mentally drained. With depression comes self hatred, guilt and negative thoughts, suicidal thoughts as well. People isolate themselves and struggle to maintain relationships. Jk might be trying overcompensate for him, to make things less noticelable Maybe dying his hair black was a way for him to avoid attention, because aside from the red carpet look which involved specific makeup and styling, he doesnt look much different with black hair , just stands out less. He also said he want ro lie low, instead of saying I want a different look of give my hair a break. This moment shows a loss of confidence, it looks ridiculous to behave like this in a formal setting.

Something is definitely going on with him. He's been so withdrawn imo during this comeback.

jk definitively look more arogant. But sugar is worst.
Did you all see the bts encore stage? When bts win? Txt boys were standing there but suga didn't even glanced at them, completely ignoring like they were not even there. The other member too were mostly ignoring txt too (except tae) but sugar was the most obvious

Well said. Sadly I don't think his company cares enough to get him any help. Celebrities are just properties and are only good as long as they are making music but are all dispensable.
I'm glad you mentioned Justin Bieber, he's the biggest and saddest example of the current generation. Not even making music anymore but is treated like a zoo animal at his lowest point because his fan base can't let him go.

Btw before anyone gets mad I know this thread is to discuss the evil side of BTS and I'm not disregarding that but I still stand by the fact that not everything is black and white so I can't just brush someone as evil and wicked if I don't know the details of their situation. I know the music is bad but I can't just say they are all as individuals evil/bad o doubt it's that simple. Im not trying to make everyone feel soft for TH but he's human and only 23 years old.

fame comes with a prize....we see this situation repeated all the time
Celebrities get all this fame, money and popularity but for some reason they start looking sad and depressed

This already happened with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, etc....and just look at Brintey Spears situation....once she was the biggest star alive and now??? she is a robot that cant even drive on her own

in BTS some of them are enjoying the fame to the fullest (RM and JK ) while others like V are looking sad and bored
Maybe it depends on the person and what type of sacrifices they have to do to get there

But fans dont really care ....they just want to be entertained and get more BTS "fun" videos and concerts

But that's just Candy's character. He said from the begining that he was a starving composer/rapper so he gave in to this "world". All the sweet acting he is doing is just for the fans etc.
After that thing you mentioned I guess they got a memo because this happened too:

Playing a character for fans can be fun for a while. But after 6 years, you've become an adult and still have to play that character. This can take a big toll on your psychology. Just imagine you can't wear the clothes you want or cut/grow your hair the way you want. You can't grow a mustache etc. This might sound stupid but for them or him it could mean a great deal. I remember Emma Watson had cut her hair very short after the harry potters movies because during the movies they had forbidden her to cut her hair. So it had become a big deal for her.

No matter how much famous or rich they get, they really are slaves to their fans. They have to put on masks and dance, smile and act cute for them all the time. Even making friends must be tough for them. And maybe he also isn't getting along with the other members. Maybe that's just me, but always having to do the same dances and singing the same songs for months. Is enough to break someone. I don't even mention them practicing for days to make the dances perfect.

Hello everyone!

Today I saw BigHit uploaded a new music video of "Boy with love (boylover aka p***philia)" and it looked almost the same. Except the scenes I mentioned before in my analyzis has been changed. I have the feeling BigHit is monitoring this forum. What do you guys think?
