There were numerous instances of obstruction clearly laid out in the report. The special counsel just made it clear he didn’t exonerate the president of these charges - he was just incapable of charging him due to justice department policy. So you and all the other haters need to admit that you're beat, and that accusations against Trump are going nowhere.
For more than two years now, we've heard from your side that Trump is dirty as hell, and a supreme moron, to boot. Despite that, all the combined investigative powers of a biased (against Trump) justice department and deranged and hateful media have only resulted in ... nothing.
If Trump is that bad and stupid, taxpayers just wasted $25 million to find out that Mueller and the DOJ are hopelessly inept.
Do you, as someone who appears to be staunchly against government waste and corruption, really want to waste untold more millions on an impeachment of Trump that there is absolutely zero evidence to justify?
The report was for congress to determine whether or not to impeach the unindictable president and the investigation indicted numerous people when it actually had the authority to do so. There is plenty there to justify impeachment. Do I want it? No, I think there would be riots and civil unrest like we’ve never seen before if that were to happen and I don’t feel it’s worth it at this point in time.
As for the financial aspect... we spend more on trumps golf trips so as far as I can tell fiscal responsibility has completely been thrown out the window at this point. (Benghazi and Hilary email investigations also cost significantly more). The cost of a justifiable investigation is one of the few things the government should shoulder imo (I wasn’t against the Hilary ones either).
While I am against government waste as you say, I’m more against government corruption when it boils down to a choice between the two.
