get your mind out of the gutter!
i am replying to elsbets comment on another thread:
Ugh.. naturally I charge my phone using the outlet at head of my bed. -.- Another thread on here said it was good, I think, that the head of the bed was facing east. I'm gonna check that real quick.
** Nope.. its southeast. So is the outlet. Obviously.
the best position for the bed is to face east/west. why? there is a magnetic pull from the north/south direction, and since our blood has iron in it, this effects our own body. having ones head at the north will pull the iron up to the north and not allow it to evenly distribute it through the body.
its also a good idea to have the head of your bed 6 inches higher than the foot of the bed. one should slowly increase the elevation from 1" to 6" over a few weeks. there are many health benefits to doing this, including: improved circulation, alleviation of skin problems and parkinsons and MS conditions. its called "inclined bed therapy".
(BTW, keeping that cordless phone next to his head is a big no-no)
from my EMF meter findings, you will want to keep your body 5 inches away from the outlet. if you have something plugged into the outlet, keep the device away from you. (when it took the EMF meter readings from the end of an extention cord, the readings were just as high at the end of the cord as they were at the wall outlet.)
if you can, turn the wifi signal off when you go to bed.
