Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."

Quran 29:2
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,

the translation does not look right.

al-naseeha means advice not sincerity

what do you think ?
Assalamu alaykum friend. I found this page that explains the hadith and the meaning of naseeha.

Meaning of Naseehah

Al Khattabi and ibn Hajr have stated that there is no word in the Arabic language as comprehensive as naseehah. This word is very difficult to translate in English, and although it’s most often translated as “sincerity”, it has a much deeper meaning to it.

The word naseehah has 2 basic linguistic meanings:

To clean, purify or improve something from unwanted elements
To unite or join something that is scattered or separated

Taking the linguistic meaning and the Quranic usage, al Raaghub al-Isfahaani has given a shareeah definition for naseehah as follows: “Naseehah is a seeking of an action or a statement that contains goodness and improvement for the other person.”

So if you are giving naseehah to someone, you truly wish the best for that person in terms of your intentions and actions.
