Audition- Japanese Movie

So I like horror flicks and came across Audition, a Japanese movie about a disturbed woman who tortures men. Now I've seen what there is to see, pretty much, but either I'm going soft or this one got to me. I almost gaged.

Anyone else who's seen it? If you haven't, I can NOT recommend to watch it, it's not..normal. it takes a long time for it to "start" but the torture scene....damn.

Erm ... you buy a movie directed by Takashi Miike and expect it to be soft to the eye and heart?
You should pretty much know what you get, when his name is attached to it.

I own a copy of it and watched it like 3 times back then. It is a good movie, but if you are easily offended or can not stand japanese movies in general, you should stay away from it.

By the way, what you see there is a mix of reality, visions, and alternate scenes of reality. Normally people who watch this movie don't get it and that is why it is often hated by western audience, since they don't understand what is going on and think it is just a mash up of senseless scenes.
