Aero... I am 21. I assume, due to her world-travels while touring and vacationing, that she is well versed in "world experience" compared to those of us this age who are not multimillionaire pop stars. This is a place where I like to come and talk about pop-culture and the symbolism surrounding it, that is one of the founding themes of this site. So why criticize those of us who are giving it "attention." Rebuttal and creating a stance against something, especially such sacred opinion-forming topics as entertainment, music, politics, etc., is an important part of learning your own beliefs. If you aren't interested in the topic, you don't have to pay attention to it. But I enjoy conversing with those who are interested and have something meaningful to add to the topic. In my opinion, her age, and "experience," do not dismiss her willingness to showcase perverseness to many of her follows who are much younger than us. She knows who her fans are and how to manipulate them. I have been to her concerts before, I know how young her fans are first-hand.

I wasnt criticizing. That was my rebuttal to your rebuttal.

And I disagree. Experience has everything to do with it. Pop stars on tour dont even have time to do their own laundry. Like it isnt a fun time in any sense of the word.

Girls like this are thrown into the industry at an early age. Yeah it looks like its all fun and games. But their childhood is essentially robbed from them. They never got to be a kid and thats why they act out.

If they didn't have that freedom during childhood, what makes you think they have the freedom in adulthood? That's sort of the purpose of questioning the record labels, writers, and producers of her songs and videos. I don't even think she has much creative control, but she probably does accept what she's told to do because she is either convinced that her content is "progressive," or she just enjoys the attention and fame that comes along with following orders. ??? But then again, I'm sure most people in the world would rather be on a world tour than struggling to pay bills while attending college and acquiring debt.. so I don't really feel sorry for her. There are many people that are robbed of their childhood with nothing to show for it. From Genius.. "Written By Rickard Göransson, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Max Martin & Ariana Grande" Rickard Goransson and Kotecha also co-wrote Bang Bang. All of these artists are involved with most hit songs by various current pop stars.

Um, because kids are really stupid and easily manipulated. The influence of the archetypal mother and father have serious power over the child. While it is true that some children never separate from their parents. I don't think that's the case with most pop stars.

It just defies logic. A person who clings to their parents will probably never be considered a good sexual partner. And pop stars need to appear as though they are the best sex around. But I don't have to tell you that.

I have been a fan of Ariana since around 2013-2014. I have also been a follower of this website for years, since circa 2011, and I am well aware of the symbolism surrounding her but I have always just been so enthralled with her voice that I have dismissed the symbolism and continued to be a fan, regardless. I’m sure there are some of you out there who dismiss the symbolism too. She recently came out with a new single: God is a woman.. and I was excited to hear it. I felt like her songs were taking a more positive, less sexual turn. Immediately when I heard this song I was just appalled. With lyrics like “baby, lay me down and let’s pray”, “take my hand, I’ll save your soul,” “if you confess, you might get blessed” “when all is said and done (previous lyrics alluding to sex) you’ll believe god is a woman” the song is pretty much equating her sexuality and ability to seduce to being God. As a young Christian woman, I find that to be extremely blasphemous. I know in Kabbalah, the religion she openly follows, there are teachings that basically equate man to god. Or man being his own god. This song is just so perverted, narcissistic, and sickening to me. I know most of her songs are about sex anyways, but I am just taken aback at the content. Her fans are soooo viciously loyal to her, they love the song and I would be afraid to openly diss it right now, but I know some of you will probably agree. What do you guys think of the song? Do you think I am interpreting it the wrong way?
well ive seen her in concert and i love her voice and the thing is i still love her and i love everybody and shes being used mame most showbiz people are but theres alot of christian celebrities fighting back like chris pratt and others praising god ariana is a belevier i can feel it just pray for her okay?

Just the typical celebrity self-deification here. I don't see why anyone is surprised by this. Narcissism is the norm in american culture with all this social media selfie madness. It's just a sign that it's about to collapse.
pray for them though. it is going to collpase soon

Right. If it's so blasphemous, than why constantly give it attention?

You all realize you are talking about a girl who is barely 25. She hasnt experienced much of the world yet.

Idk that much about her specifically. But I know the type. A lot of these girls grow up in super sheltered environments.

Its natural to feel liberated after a childhood like many of these girls have. So give them some slack and let them grow and learn.
The attention we're giving it is negative and I thought this is what we do here as Vigilant Citizens, right? We expose the evil
... But apparently you are one of those guys that consider Ariana to be one of those girls that grew up in 'a sheltered environment'
Well read my username again, because I was Ariana's fan for a long, long time. She is no victim because she is young, being young doesn't mean she can do whatever she likes. That's why folks here talk about BTS too even though the members are young. I apologize if I sound cocky but evil is evil and it needs to be exposed!

The exposing evil bit is highly debatable. First of all, read my screen name again. And know in your heart, that most of this stuff doesn't expose shit. Last time I checked Vigilent Citizen has brought down 0 bad guys. Maybe we helped pressure Youtube to clamp down on some of that weird kiddie shit. But I think it's more likely that had nothing to do with VC.

And the problem persists. Why? Because there is a demand for what the industry is doing. So how are they evil for giving people what they want? It seems like the truth here is that we are the evil. Yall want to just sit, knowing nothing of what walking in their shoes is actually like. I think it's time people practice some real empathy.

While you do that, think about it from my perspective too. You think the law likes vigilantes? Well trust me, they really don't. When we get off our asses and actually do something we have to fight. That's what exposing people actually entails. Nobody is fighting anything here, except the thoughtforms in their own brains.

Talking to others online is similar to leaving a bad review. A company is not going to stop making their product because of one bad review, but you may be able to convince a few others to not buy it. It’s best sometimes to think on an individual level rather than on such a large scale. I’m sorry that you don’t find words useful... I’m starting to think you are a Russian bot. Lol!!! **kidding**kinda..

I'm sure that it'll please narcissists from all over the world, as women tend to be the worst ones, it'll help NATO to draft young women for combat so that they can live out their feminist fantasies in the theatre of war.

This is another sign of the rise of narcissists, fortunately the conspiracy scene is also swamped with them, so they'll fit right in.

I can't wait tot see them run straight into the fire, as it'll mean the end of crappy mainstream music and also of holier-than-thou conspiracy theorists.

Um, because kids are really stupid and easily manipulated
And it's the music industry who's job it is to manipulate them, if you are unable to see that why are you even here?

And furthermore, kids are very intelligent, as in they learn more, generally, than adults do each day. If kids were as stupid as you've just claimed they wouldn't need to be manipulated at all would they?

This contemptuous statement just shows your sheer arrogance. I really hope you don't have kids of your own, for their sake.

Ha, we know nothing about Ariana? We're telling you we were her fans! I'm sorry but the only one that doesn't know $hit about Ariana is you.
Also if there's a need for me to fight, I will. I'm not kidding. But for now, this is our way of exposing evil. Not everything can be fixed by force

Why are you here if you're against conspiracy theorists?

Or you're just against ones who are religious? Lots of people are pushing the elite's anti-religious agenda.

When people hate religion, I wonder what they're doing in secret that makes them opposed to it.
