What are you trying to suggest by my not talking about someone I don't know about. I don't live in Alabama. I have never heard of this guy. I hardly remember what you are talking about either.

For me to talk about Roy Moore would require investigation on the subject that I have not had time to pursue. Sometimes, things people say here are just new to me so I don't have much to say. It doesn't mean that I am complicit because this guy is not a Weinstein type if that is what you are trying to suggest or that I would excuse his behavior based on religious or political associations. I don’t know when I have given that impression.

Honestly, discussions like this are somewhat overwhelming for me since I am a victim of abuse. All the comments from all directions and everything is a little overwhelming and I have discussed this subject in a couple other threads already. This is why I didn’t respond to this one as well. I just didn’t have the emotional energy to investigate enough about Roy Moore to produce a response.

I guess it's fucked up some of us enjoy the show. But it's a pretty good show. Like oh wow, who gets sacrificed today. What career everyone assumed was secure, gets the axe? Who gets eaten for breakfast? Matt Lauer? Ok sweet. None of these turd nuggets matter. Matt Lauer made 28 million a year. And he's gone like the wind.

This is the exact type of shit that makes me scoff at spirituality. We are supposedly in the midst of these deep religious movements. And here is Roy Moore. Mr. 10 commandments scamming on the teenage girls. I think that individuality usurps whatever spirit anyone believes they have. Or individuality is the building block that enables a spiritual experience. If humans didn't have some primal need to feel unique in a world where we aren't unique at all. The abusers take the blame, as well as the rest of us should take some too. I don't think anyone should be shocked to find out how people actually behave. Like why do we pretend that people are kind? Anyone can put on a good front. So our issue should be stopping people from falling for that type of stuff. We have to educate each other, and make people smarter. If people were more intelligent than punishment could be even handed. Ya know, there would be no more big sex scandals. Those things will just go away quietly. Like they should, because we don't all need to know who's cheating on their wives.

Well, yes, I'm agreeing with you. If all it took were allegations most of us would be behind bars. I don't know anything about him, other than the publicity. That's not a good basis for action.
