Am I supposed to know what you are talking about? So none then?
That is quite simple. The bottom line is that a genocidal and infanticidal god is a satanic god.Again, you describe Satan as a knowable spiritual being whilst denying the existence of a spiritual realm.
I can’t “eat” a metaphorical dinner. In the same way, talking about a metaphorical and Satan and God whose existence your reject is a strange form of conversational nihilism!
I am trying to understand what you actually believe - can you try to make your ideas more clear to us?
Either your reading comprehension of the bible is extremely low or you are willfully twisting scripture to worship yourself.Have you leaned what Jesus and your bible teaches?
The Bible teaches one to start a spiritual journey from the bottom, i.e. from a stage where he must consider himself as a born sinner and starts his journey upwards from there. One reaches the second stage when he realises that he is the son and God is his father. The final realisation is when he realises that he and the Father are one.
Well if that really happened, I would say 'no hold on, you're the Antichrist'. Because the Bible says it exactly so, and that would make me doubt. An open question to the satanists (atheistic/theistic) in this thread...
If a mercurial figure were to rise on the world scene who promoted the kind of spiritual and intellectual independence that seems popular with satanists, would you throw your support behind him if he were to help you in your wishes to see the Judea-Christian superstitions of yesteryear swept away?
If he were to test your mettle in your rejection of this non existent angry sky daddy and his stupid book by taking a “mark of loyalty” in your right hand or forehead, would you refuse, risk the consequences and say “hang on... you’re the Antichrist” or would you continue to interpret the whole thing as an ironic take on Revelation 13 and take it in an ultimate act of freedom and defiance?
True, but you forget, as you criticize my reading and comprehension ability, a cheep shot that you excel in, that mine is better than yours as I recognize that I too am a son of god, and have done the work to be a brethren to Jesus, as prophesized. That is the most twisted reasoning and absolutely bizarre. The bible says Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus and and the Father are one.
.
Should we be anti-Christ?Well if that really happened, I would say 'no hold on, you're the Antichrist'. Because the Bible says it exactly so, and that would make me doubt.
However, I have no reason to believe the Bible now as such things have not come to pass and there is no such evidence for me at all, I would for now agree with the first paragraph.
What work?my reading and comprehension ability, a cheep shot that you excel in, that mine is better than yours as I recognize that I too am a son of god, and have done the work to be a brethren to Jesus, as prophesized.
The work of putting away the things of children and mentally becoming a moral adult through Gnosis. What work?
I find it interesting that the much lauded “Ulysses” by James Joyce promotes the concept of the Monomyth. Those who step beyond superstition and religion enter into the scientific enlightenment (as per the “Golden Bough”) and perhaps become gods through apotheosis and transhumanism? The work of putting away the things of children and mentally becoming a moral adult through Gnosis.
Here is the real way to salvation that Jesus taught.
Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Allan Watts explain those quotes in detail.
Joseph Campbell shows the same esoteric ecumenist idea in this link.
The bible just plainly says to put away the things of children. The supernatural and literal reading of myths.

That's not what the gospel teach. The work of putting away the things of children and mentally becoming a moral adult through Gnosis.
Oh yee of little faith.I find it interesting that the much lauded “Ulysses” by James Joyce promotes the concept of the Monomyth. Those who step beyond superstition and religion enter into the scientific enlightenment (as per the “Golden Bough”) and perhaps become gods through apotheosis and transhumanism?
It is certainly a compelling narrative.
Sadly it is one that will gently and agreeably escort many to eternal separation from the God who made them and loves them.
That is not what the gospels teach. That's not what the gospel teach.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
John 1:12-13
If I understand you right, you are encouraging people to read or listen to the Gospels in context and perhaps as a whole? I agree - I would encourage anyone to listen to a whole gospel and understand the message for themselves -That is not what the gospels teach.
If you can trash my quotes and call then wrong, I can do the same with yours.
Mine make a lot more moral sense than yours, because your bible says that we have no choice in whether we believe or not as god decides who he will give the grace to believe and whose hearts he will harden against belief.
I would fetch the quotes for you but you do not believe what your bible says and would likely trash those quotes as you did here.

Help me understand why you promote a satanic genocidal god as a good god please. If I understand you right, you are encouraging people to read or listen to the Gospels in context and perhaps as a whole? I agree - I would encourage anyone to listen to a whole gospel and understand the message for themselves -
I found a great resource I’m sure you will like...
May the Lord enlighten our understanding!
One thing I have increasingly learned to appreciate about human nature is that few people can be easily bullied or insulted into taking another's view on something.Help me understand why you promote a satanic genocidal god as a good god please.

Immoral people like you who run from even an attempt to justify your vile beliefs and religion do my work for me.One thing I have increasingly learned to appreciate about human nature is that few people can be easily bullied or insulted into taking another's view on something.
You may believe that Satan (even if just a metaphor) embodies more moral and admirable characteristics than God. Other people are likely to form their own opinion.
Children of God are believers in Jesus Christ and have the Holy Spirit inside them*.True, but you forget, as you criticize my reading and comprehension ability, a cheep shot that you excel in, that mine is better than yours as I recognize that I too am a son of god, and have done the work to be a brethren to Jesus, as prophesized.
Why aren't you instead of being a pathetic and immoral piece of human garbage?
Do I need to get the quotes on this or is your comprehension up to the task?
