Hmm. What part of that seems ANTI -establishment to you? Just curious.

The lyrics are a criticism of the elite's mentality. It's meant to be sarcastic and ironic. He's dismayed about the situation he’s describing, not in support of it. He's describing the the way rich, corrupt, elites operate and how they ruin our society. They behave as if they are animals and have no care for humanity. He's pointing out how bad it is to have that kind of mentality or follow those ideas. And he's saying that the elites will basically get what they deserve in the end... If they killed themselves, they would be doing everyone in the world a favor. Most of Muse's songs are anti-establishment... that song is a different and more interesting approach to the same theme/topic. It's a good song.

"This song, as the video shows, is about the bloodthirsty capitalists who will get what’s coming to them for eating the public alive."

Here is another good one. This song was written about the British politician Tony Blair and also George W Bush... back when they were running their countries. But the song really applies to any world leader.
Muse - Take a Bow

Muse - Take A Bow Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Corrupt, you corrupt
And bring corruption to all that you touch
Hold, you'll behold
And beholden for all that you've done

And spell, cast a spell
And cast a spell on the country you run
And risk, you will risk
You will risk all their lives and their souls

[Hook]
And burn, you will burn
You will burn in Hell, yeah, you'll burn in Hell
You'll burn in Hell, yeah, you'll burn in Hell
For your sins

[Verse 2]
Ooh, our freedom is consuming itself
What we've become
Is contrary to what we want
Take a bow

Death, you bring death
And destruction to all that you touch
Pay, you must pay
You must pay for your crimes against the earth

And Hex, feed the Hex
Feed the Hex on the country you love
And beg, you will beg
You will beg for their lives and their souls

[Hook]
And burn, you will burn
You will burn in Hell, yeah, you'll burn in Hell
You'll burn in Hell, yeah, you'll burn in Hell
For your sins

If you have not heard of Royal Rife, have a google.. I think you will like.
I discovered this information a couple of years ago after myself being diagnosed with the big C.

For anybody coming across this for the first time I'm sure they will find the information educational and disturbing, in equal measures.

Disturbed is a good band and they usually have good lyrics despite being signed to a major label.
I've seen them live like 4 times now. The last time was from about 15 feet away at The House of Blues. They always bring it...
This is what it looks like when you're in there (I'm somewhere up at the front):

Speaking of Britain, this is a band I followed in my teenage years singing about the north of England during the Thatcher/Reagan years:

United Kingdom
ABC

There's a gang I've just joined
There's a gang I've just joined
Three million strong you'd agree
Four million strong you'd agree
Enrollment was easy, so easy
Getting out proves to be the difficulty

From Land's End to John O'Groats
From Land's End to John O'Groats
They are making ends meet
Mending holes in their coats
Fasting and feasting on bread and margarine
Burning dreams built upon buried hopes

United Kingdom - you better ring them
You've a solution - you'd better bring them
United Kingdom - United Kingdom
You've got solutions - you'd better bring them

Opportunities, I guess they all came and went
Finding it hard
Finding the rent
You'll find it funny
With your finger running down
The situations vacant

In school he was an athlete
Now he's not so self-assured
After all of these O-levels, is this my reward?
There's a silent majority, that's seen and never heard
From Charles I, to Charles II, to Charles III

United Kingdom - you better ring them
You've got solutions - you'd better bring them
United Kingdom - United Kingdom
This rusted, busted, upper-crusted
Rusted, busted, done and dusted
No-man-to-be-trusted
United Kingdom

Proud to stand beneath the Union Jack?
Happy dealing up a no ace pack?
Polishing black boots
Priming the riot squad
There go I but for the grace of God
Covering up the agony with mindless entertainment
You'll be happy when they're ripping up the pavement
Bringing down the axe on steelworks and foundries
Someone said love knows no boundaries

United Kingdom - you better ring them
You've got solutions - you'd better bring them...

Everyday People
Sly & The Family Stone

Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my song
The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in

I am everyday people, yeah yeah

There is a blue one who can't accept the green one
For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo

Oh sha sha we got to live together

I am no better and neither are you
We are the same whatever we do
You love me you hate me you know me and then
You can't figure out the bag I'm in

I am everyday people, yeah yeah

There is a long hair that doesn't like the short hair
For bein' such a rich one that will not help the poor one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo

Oh sha sha we got to live together

There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one
That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo

I am everyday people

System Of A Down - Boom
Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I've been walking through your streets
Where all your money's earning
Where all your building's crying
And clueless neckties working
Revolving fake lawn houses, housing all your fears
Desensitized by TV
Overbearing advertising, God of consumerism
And all your crooked pictures, looking good
Mirrorism, filtering information for the public eye
Designed for profiteering your neighbor, what a guy

[Chorus]
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
Every time you drop the bomb
You kill the God your child has born
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM

[Verse 2]
Modern globalization
Coupled with condemnations
Unnecessary death
Matador corporations
Puppeting your frustrations
With the blinded flag
Manufacturing Consent is the name of the game
The bottom line is money, nobody gives a fuck
4000 hungry children leave us per hour from starvation
While billions are spent on bombs, creating death showers

[Chorus]
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
Every time you drop the bomb
You kill the God your child has born
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM

[Bridge]
Why
Must we
Kill our
Own kind

[Chorus]
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
Every time you drop the bomb
You kill the God your child has born
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM
Every time you drop the bomb

Yeah I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

So now I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

So now I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun

Bangin' this bolo tight on this solo flight can't fight alone
Funk tha track my verbs fly like tha family stone
Tha pen devils set that stage for tha war at home
Locked wit out a wage ya standin' in tha drop zone
The clockers born starin' at an empty plate
Momma's torn hands cover her sunken face
We hungry but them belly full
The structure is set ya neva change it with a ballot pull
In tha ruins there's a network for tha toxic rock
School yard ta precinct, suburb ta project block
Bosses broke south for new flesh and a factory floor
The remains left chained to the powder war

Can't waste a day when the night brings a hearse
So make a move and plead the fifth 'cause ya can't plead the first
Can't waste a day when the night brings a hearse
So now I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

Yes I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

So now I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun

Bare witness to tha sickest shot while suckas get romantic
They ain't gonna send us campin' like they did my man Fred Hampton
Still we lampin' still clockin' dirt for our sweat
A ballots dead so a bullet's what I get
A thousand years they had tha tools
We should be takin' 'em
Fuck tha G-ride I want the machines that are makin' em
Our target straight wit a room full of armed pawn to
Off tha kings out tha west side at dawn

Can't waste a day when the night brings a hearse
Make a move and plead the fifth 'cause ya can't plead the first
Can't waste a day when the night brings a hearse
So now I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

Yeah I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun
These people ain't seen a brown skin man
Since their grandparents bought one

Yeah I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun

The rungs torn from the ladder can't reach the tumour
One god, one market, one truth, one consumer

Just a quiet peaceful dance!
Just a quiet peaceful dance!
Just a quiet peaceful dance!
Just a quiet peaceful dance!
Just a quiet peaceful dance for the things we'll never have
Just a quiet peaceful dance for the things we don't have

The eastern world, it is explodin',
Violence flarin', bullets loadin',
You're old enough to kill but not for votin',
You don't believe in war, but what's that gun you're totin',
And even the Jordan river has bodies floatin',
But you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.
Don't you understand, what I'm trying to say?
And can't you feel the fears I'm feeling today?
If the button is pushed, there's no running away,
There'll be no one to save with the world in a grave,
Take a look around you, boy, it's bound to scare you, boy,
And you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.
Yeah, my blood's so mad, feels like coagulatin',
I'm sittin' here, just contemplatin',
I can't twist the truth, it knows no regulation,
Handful of Senators don't pass legislation,
And marches alone can't bring integration,
When human respect is disintegratin',
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin',
And you tell me over and over and over again my friend,
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.
Think of all the hate there is in Red China!
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama!
Ah, you may leave here, for four days in space,
But when your return, it's the same old place,
The poundin' of the drums, the pride and disgrace,
You can bury your dead, but don't leave a trace,
Hate your next door neighbor, but don't forget to say grace,
And you tell me over and over and over and over again my friend,
You don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.
No, no, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

Innerpartysystem - Don't Stop

The road I walk is paved in gold
To glorify my platinum soul
I'll buy my way to talk to God
So he can live with what I'm not
The selfish blood runs through my veins
I gave up everything for fame
I am the lie that you adore
I feed the rich and fuck the poor

I got what you want, it just don't stop
This is entertainment; Lies are entertainment
You are down on your knees begging me for more

The road I walk is paved in gold
To glorify my platinum soul
I am the closest thing to God
So worship me and never stop
The wretched blood runs through my veins
I gave up everything for fame
I am the lie that you adore
Now feed the rich, fuck the poor

Dear future:
I bought you, I own the rights
To let go; destroy you
This is my life
And I...

I got what you want, it just don't stop
This is entertainment; Lies are entertainment
You are down on your knees begging me for more
Begging me for more
Begging me for more

Currency carry me everyone is held hostage
Currency means nothing
How are they to spend us next
Do you want a stake in us?
How you have a stake in us
One day it'll all be over
One day it'll all be gone
I can see born asleep all these things in motion ours
All the debt and lives you've sold
There's no truth in who we trust
Print and print the money that you spend
Spend and spend the money that you print then
One day it'll all be over
One day it'll all be gone
I can see currency how it always sanctions us
All these paper lives you've sold
There's no God in who you trust
Print and print the money that you spend
Spend and spend the money that you print
Print and print the money that you spend
Spend and spend the money that you print then
One day it'll all be over one day it'll all be gone
And you will all be gone one day
Yeah you will all be gone one day
You've paid with your life
A slave from nine to five
You're spent through us
You take from us when we die
So claim the diamonds in your eyes

Well, i can't see "The Dude" somewhere up at the front . :)

I don't know if this really makes the cut but i couldn't help myself as its Gnostic Bishop's theme song :)

I love Kanye West's song St. Pablo, from his album Life of Pablo. I know everyone likes to hate on Kanye, but there are TWO Kanyes, one Kanye that is the good and wholesome Old Kanye (OK), and another that isan industry slave; New Kanye (NK) . That is made especially apparent in Life of Pablo, where Kanye made a song about how he misses the OK and on the cover where there are contrasting images of a nude woman and an image a family at a wedding, with a red arrow pointing to each. furthermore, circled in red, are the words WHICH/ONE, repeated multiple times on the cover. Most of the songs are NK, but two, Saint Pablo and Ultralight Beam are OK songs.
