I saw on the news today that there was another Egyptian ceremony this week.
They even mention the use of hyms; " The lyrics of “ The First Call” song are taken from the hymns written on the walls of the temples and related to the celebration of the most famous festival in ancient Egypt, which is the Opet Festival.
‘Beautiful Feast of the Opet,’ which was held in honour of the great god Amun The events centred around fertility and renewal—renewal of the land, renewal of the pharaoh and (most importantly) renewal of the god.
The first ceremony saw the return of mummies to a new museum.
