To homeschool or not to homeschool

So just an update, I’m overwhelmed by the support and amazing advice I’ve gotten on this thread so thank you and I hear all of you and agree with all of you to one extent or another. After many hours of sleep lost, I have decided to send him to kindergarten under my very careful supervision. I...

To homeschool or not to homeschool

Wow wow! Super mom! I homeschooled them last year but, they were preschool age.I really did enjoy it. My 5 year old son is reading and writing at a level far beyond his years. He is multiplying and dividing. He can tell time. Count money. Write a haiku. He makes his own comic books. He’s a...

To homeschool or not to homeschool

Polymoog you win again. I absolutely keep them involved with other children as much as I possibly can. Church outings, sports, playgrounds almost every day. They are very well socialized. And I think that’s the key.

To homeschool or not to homeschool

Hi y’all. I hope everyone is well. I’m hoping I can get some help on whether or not I should really push to homeschool my children. My husband disagrees and thinks our children need to be exposed to what the world (unfortunately) is in order for them to become strong individuals. I agree with...

honestly I don’t know it’s a very tough decision. Do I think the vaccine is just another means of control? Definitely. As a nurse I will have to get it and my husband works for the hospital so he will too. I don’t think that receiving the vaccine will put us in any imminent danger though. So if...

I’m also fed up with getting called a “hero”. You would think I liked the attention as a nurse but shit man. We are not in hazmat suits fighting Ebola here we are treating patients with a mediocre respiratory illness at worst. 99.9% of them have COPD, in terrible health already and most of them...

yes. Perfectly said. How scary is that???! My husbands fav place to eat is the mall food court lol. You should’ve seen his eyes light up last night to see that (some) of his favs were open And that we could sit and eat. But the more we sat and looked around, the more we saw the effect. While it...

Went to the mall for a little Christmas shopping with my hubby tonight. So devastating to see a mall we had so many good family memories at completely decimated. It was booming with business before COVID. These are the times when it hits me just how many people are suffering from a virus that is...

War with China, Trump or Biden?

Oof. I don’t think either will necessarily start the war, but I sure know who would lose it! Biden is a weak man and will bend the knee to China.

Do you think Satan influence is heightened by a full moon?

Just an observation I’ve made as a follower of Christ. I know as a Christian, the full moon shouldn’t make me uneasy but, this full moon in Aries has done something to me. The past week or so, it’s like the devil and God are raging inside of me. I used to be an alcoholic, unfaithful, selfish...

What’s with all of the occult horror films?

Is it just “what’s trendy”? I’ve seen two recently. The Wretched and Hereditary. I figured y’all would have some insight.

Would you date a broke man?

It’s called living within your means. Getting roommates. Not living in a two bedroom by yourself on minimum wage and saving your money. Ps. I think you’re a pompous idiot. I really do. Don’t talk to me unless you fall from that high horse you’re on.

Would you date a broke man?

I don’t buy it. A full time employee making 15$ an hour (minimum wage here) still makes roughly 2Gs per month after taxes. Factor in your rent, health insurance, car insurance, cell phone bill, groceries, gas etc., you still have 3-400 to save each month. It’s all about making good choices...
