Humans have not consumed meat from the beginning. The original diet given to man was herbs, seeds and fruit (Genesis 1:29). After man sinned God added some extra things to the diet which was eating the plants themselves. Their diet now included vegetables, leaves, stalks, roots etc (Genesis 3:18).

The first time man ate meat was after the flood and that was because the flood destroyed everything including all plants. It would take time for the crops and fruit to grow. So God permitted man to kill and eat animals. God planned this before the flood that is why the clean animals went into the ark by sevens and the unclean by two because not all animals are fit to be eaten.

The plant protein they are selling is a lie. The body absorbs only a fraction of the protein from plant sources but gets 80-90% from an animal source. Also, the complete amino acids are only found in these animal proteins.

People can live on plants and that was the original diet God planned for man. The quality of our food has deteriorated but there is more nutrition in plants than in meat and diary. Those who eat plant based diets have got to have variety in their diet though. Adults do not need as much protein and can live off the protein in plants.

Studies show that the healthiest people in the world are those who don't eat or eat very little animal products in their diets.

God gave His people detailed instructions about diet and other matters. He promised that they would see the benefits of following these instructions in improved health and prosperity. We too can experience these blessings today (Deut 7:12-15, Psalms 105:37).

Only someone who doesn't know about God and His Word would say something like that. God wants the best for His people in this world and beyond. A healthy lifestyle according to God's word is not only good for our physical health, its good for us mentally and spiritually.

That is why thousands of years before people found out animal fat increases bad cholesterol in the body and causes so many illnesses, God forbade its consumption. The same goes for blood consumption. Blood carries impurities of the body (Gen 9:4, Lev 3:17). Of course God knew since He is Omniscient.

Reading hundreds of testimonies of people switching back to meat and dairy and healing their bodies just makes sense. People of the past have lived off of these nutrient-dense foods before the media demonized them on purpose. They were much healthier than the people of today.

I have read many testimonies too of people whose lives have changed when they stopped eating meat and animal products. Diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and other illnesses were completely healed.

In the Bible when Daniel and his friends were brought into the king's court, they tried to feed them meat, diary, alcohol which were thought be healthy. Daniel asked if they could eat a plant based diet and in ten days they were shown to be healthier than the others who'd eaten the king's portion (Daniel 1:8-16).

Yes God instructed man to eat meat and it started after the flood when there was no vegetation. They had to eat clean meats. Daniel as a Jew knew clean meat was allowed but the way the animals were slaughtered and handled mattered as well.

Our bodies produce cholesterol from fats that we ingest. In fact, only 20% of the cholesterol in the blood circulation of people who eat animal products comes from dietary sources. It is no problem for plant based people to produce all the cholesterol they need for survival and health, as long as they include plant fats in their diets. Only a small to moderate amount of those fats is necessary too.

Animal protein raises blood cholesterol levels, while plant protein lowers it. Animal protein comes with an ugly package deal: it is always combined with saturated fat and cholesterol, which cause many chronic diseases, especially heart disease.
