Now you just gave me pointless things to fathom to which are easily disproven. Now tell me how eternal is Allah that he would create the Quran 600 years after someone else wrote the Bible?

Not much instead Christianity disproves the Quran, not only because it came first but because it's absolute. Now the devil is a perverter, he can't create anything so what he does is that he takes the TRUTH and he makes it into a lie.

Simple as that, now ask yourself a new religion was introduced after 600 years which contradicted the Bible. The Old testament promised a messiah(in the Torah) yet you have Mohammed who called himself a prophet with no witnesses whatsoever except himself.

If I popped out of nowhere saying God revealed that the world would end in 90 days. Would you believe me? In all honesty? Firstly someone should've been there to witness it, secondly that would be a lie, for God said no man knows the hour the Son of man shall come.

Not only that yet how does the Torah mention the coming of a Messiah(which Jews believe since they don't believe Jesus Christ ever came) yet your Quran tells you about the Torah but contradicts it by sending you Mohammed.

The people you say are ignorant were once Christians themselves (some still are). They dedicated time to the study of the origin of the NT for many years. The strength of your emotion does not change that.

The reason I am a Muslim is because the arguments that the Quran brings forth are extremely powerful. The truth that is held in one verse is worth all the books of the world and more than that. I am firm in my religion knowing that it is the truth. A clear, plain, blatant, shining truth. I live my religion, and I hope that God will give me the honour of dying practicing this religion, ameen.

Just because someone claims to be a Christian for many years and that they have dug into history about Christianity doesn't mean that they are immediately knowledgeable of it. The Bible continously states that it's through revelation.

I bet you a billion dollars those people won't be able to explain to me the seven church ages and seven seals. Yet they call themselves scholars of Christianity at the same time.

So do Jews, they are firm in Judaism yet their religion is wrong.

Now you can either chose yourself, your God given will to either question or stick to comfortability. It is your right and you should excercise it. In that note as I can see this conversation is unfruitful I am going to leave. If you manage to answer all these questions correctly, then you'll know that Jesus Christ is Lord.

@pescatarian09 - It doesn't matter who they are if they are speaking the truth.

Professional liberal sceptics are awarded high position in apostate seminaries for attacking scripture and elevating their own opinion. It shouldn’t be so, but that’s how it is.

Metzger died a Christian. He authored several devotional Christian works. Ehrman was Metzger's student. The simple fact of the matter is, that if you too were to investigate the origins of the NT, you would find the same things. These are objectively verifiable findings. The inerrancy of the Bible cannot, in good faith, be held to be a true doctrine.

You cannot say that all arguments which contradict your own are wrong. If you claim that the NT is impeccably preserved and inerrant, you must provide empirical evidence. If you are so assured in your conviction, provide a rebuttal to Ehrman's work. You must read their works before you can criticise them.

The development of the New Testament canon is a proof in itself. Why are entire gospels once considered scripture by some of the early Church fathers not part of the NT canon today?

This post is from Ehrman's Orthodox Corruption of Scripture, and it details a myriad of instances in which verses were changed:

@pescatarian09 - if you are interested in comparing the preservation of texts, historical roots of Islam and Christianity etc etc, would you like to join a thread?

I would be genuinely interested in a dialogue on some of the issues you touch on in this profile status...

You are deflecting. If you want to prove to me that Christianity is the truth, you must convince me that the foundational premises upon which your theology is built are true. Your critiquing Islam does not achieve that. By deflecting, you tell me that you cannot defend your theology, and so must resort to attempting to disprove another to validate your own, i.e. you are committing a genetic fallacy.

I am happy to debate the merits and issues of Christianity and Islam with you. I set up a thread on certain problems that have become apparent within Islam that I don’t feel have been adequately addressed. In addition, if you want to look into biblical textual criticism, I invite you to this thread.

Btw @pescatarian09 - Bart Ehrman claims that Luke wasn’t really a traveling companion of Paul...

Unfortunately for Bart, his case doesn’t add up!!
