now in all seriousness, the scientific method is limited. This wasn't a problem until society decided to use science for everything, everything.

You can't prove that the universe exists trough the scientific method, mainly because you didn't observe the event and you can't reproduce it again, we all just observe its effects.

if god exists, why did he create a planet where beings cause pain and agony to other beings by the process of consuming them in order to survive?

When God made man @polymoog sin wasn’t in the world. After He made man and they were disobedient to God them sin entered the world and sin is lawlessness. But God has His plan to save people and at the right time Jesus is born...so there is actually Good News.
