If you live outside of one of the cities in Ohio, you aren't getting to an emergency shelter. So no there aren't a lot of places for help with domestic abuse. There are a lot of places to buy liquor and cigarettes though.

Just trying to add some perspective here. Let's not pretend like running away is like a stroll down the block.

Do you not realjze domestic abuse is a eveeyday form of mk? If its hadd for them to leave because of the complete mental and emotional clusterfuck done to them i can only imagine what it would be like for someone dealing with a professional.

And im not sure what resources you speak of. The few undefunded shelters we have are clustered in urban areas and completely incapable of meeting the actual need that exists. The resources you speak of are inadequate overloaded and underfunded... ooh plus cutting them even further was one of trumps first acts as president

well i don't think people who suffer domestic abuse all shatter into split personalities and have DRD. i think that is the basis of how mk works?

I had a friend who was in social work who would often point that we actually had animal shelters in the US before we had any shelters for women and children living in abusive circumstances.

There are more resources than there were, but there could also be more resources than there are too.
