Gay people are a minority and will always be one but that doesn't mean there should be no representation of them in various medias...
Why must it be presented as normal in KIDS' movies?
Children should learn that gay people are just people like everyone else and they should know not to attack them for their sexuality. You should also know that children can identify as gay, just like they can identify as straight. Kids get little crushes all the time and the gay kids will too as well as everyone else.
Gay people are definitely the minority but that's exactly the point. They're the minority yet there is a disproportionate amount of representation they receive in the entertainment world. In every TV show and many movies, there's now always a gay couple or two which isn't a factual representation of the demographics of the Western world at all. Not by any accurate measures.
They went decades without having gay characters on screen, it's fairly common now-a-days and you guys lose your heads. Good grief.
That's because people weren't as brainwashed to today's nonsense as much as we are now. If they tried what they do now in the past they would have all been shut down real quick. But their years of slow programming and brainwashing have made the West's population docile and mentally weak hence why they can get away with a lot of the baloney they present us with.
I would argue that people were more brainwashed back then and certainly slaves to tradition.
If by tradition you mean a child being raised by both a mother and father and the rest of the extended family, a family's dollar being able to get them further in life, better quality education, and etc. than I would love to be brainwashed by tradition.
By tradition I mean getting away with brutalizing your wife after your third martini.
