I’m not begging for anything actually. I just would like the police to be able to do their jobs without being made to be the criminals and being forced to hold back when the criminal won’t. Wouldn’t that just embolden the criminals?
That’s always the fear..if they do that to the criminal they will come after you next..in what world that happens Idk..but that’s the world of fear and imagination talking so people don’t try to make it easier for the police to catch criminals.
That lady is lucky no one died with her fire bomb..but she’s still a criminal for starting a police car on fire and should be caught.

Has anyone noticed how many news articles there are about people losing an eye during these protests. Journalists, protestors, there at least 10 of them I’ve seen by now. It seems like losing an eye is the most commonly reported injury. Vc could almost have a whole symbolic pictures article with all the one eyed people that are in the news. It’s a little weird to me at this point honestly.

Well I’m glad someone else thinks it strange too. I wasn’t sure whether this was something to be concerned about normally with the methods they are using to control the protests even though I don’t ever remember hearing about so many people losing an eye.

I agree. There are a lot of ego/power trip cops out there. I’m not going to throw them under a bus though. Civilization does need laws to keep a sense of peace. To contradict myself however, cops do get a little too happy enforcing laws. And because they essentially are the law, it seems very seldom they face consequences unless hardcore action is taken like now.
I’m for a civilized lawful society. Idk.
Also like many here feel cops need to be held accountable. I have too many contradictory stances on this

Half the cops out there probably don't even know the laws. Or they make up their own laws as they go. There's 1000s of YouTube videos documenting that fact.
If the current events are a sign of the law and order brought upon by American cop culture, I say they have epically failed. And it's time to push the reset button.
