Believe me, I wish I didn't feel obligated to question this, or run everything through such a dark lens. Quite frankly, it's stressful and frightening. But I can't unknow that there is a super dark underbelly that I never saw before. I know that not everything I suspect is going to be right. It's not my goal to be right all the time. It's my goal to not ignore when my gut is telling me something is wrong.

When you were breaking into empty houses... did you or anyone you know ever think... hey... let's climb down this 9x13 inch chimney? Or would you look for an easier way to get in? I wear glasses. I'll tell you right now that I would never take them off and throw them down a chimney before I climbed down. No one reports hearing him yell, either. Not enough details reported to make a solid decision, but what has been reported sounds like a load.
Fair enough.

And to answer your question. No, we never thought about climbing down a chimney. I admit that is definitely an odd thing to do, but kids do dumb stuff all the time. In High School, I watched a kid almost overdose on chocolate milk.

i dont care about that
that looks like a normal mum and her son..

even if it isnt the case, at least our natural human instinct should be to feel empathy towards her first and wait for the facts.
you cant judge most appearances like that.

turns out you guys arent alone though.
the comments are divided too.

thing is, i could suspect the dad, but not the mum, esp listening to that audio in this clip where she's arguing with her husband over the 4 yr old.
For the record, when I wrote this post last night, I had only read updates and articles from the source I quoted in the OP. I didn't know others also felt it was fishy. I had not seen the video of his Mom. My reaction was based on the information reported. I am glad to see that I am not the only one questioning it.

but you guys should watch the movies

Sympathy for Mr Vengeance
and
The Chaser

Ugly

Ugly, is indian, it is an indian version of those 2 movies merged and well worth watching

these movies show how inept the police/murder investigations can be, aswell as how useless, dumb and self-serving people can be.

Eh... not 10 minutes in and I'm disturbed. Not my cup of tea.
lol
i can barely remember that one...and all of these are sad btw..but they are certainly worth watching entirely.

sfmv is part 1 of the vengeance trilogy
you have to watch all 3 of those for sure.

it's best you dl them and watch in your own time, ive only found online uploads to make it easier for you.

also, the koreans don't make movies like that anymore. what they produce now are cheap movies for western/global appeal..because these type of movies didnt actually make much money.
that's another thing, the quality of movie produced on small budgets.

you dont know if she has shed tears or hasnt in private...you dont know whether it's the shock or that she is making a video.
those type of videos are only put out to try and convince someone who may have the person (ie a kidnapper) to feel remorsful and release the kid.
you dont know what is on her mind or in her heart.
I understand that, however, I feel like she’s just putting on a show. The amount of emotion she’s showing and the lack of tears to go with it just don’t ring true to me on both videos.
The second one, maybe she’s trying to show people that yes she’s really upset about the situation because she got a lot of feedback from the tv plea but she can’t work up but one tear..I just find it fake.

if you're going to ask Jesus for any superpower, please ask for some basic human empathy.
you seriously lack it...for a so called christian.

Just because I’m a Christian doesn’t mean that I must believe everyone about everything does it?

Jesus hands out superpowers now? Sign me up.
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.…

Jesus walked on water, brought the dead back to life, healed the blind, sick etc...
here he said you can do even greater things than these.

True empathy is too dangerous for the common folk. They will lose their minds or completely shut down.

In this case, I see a lot of shadow chasing. And one cannot catch a shadow. Anyway, all I'm saying is sometimes the truth doesn't make you feel any better.

You should not honor men more than truth. ;)

I'd rather know the truth than be left in the dark.

Autistic boy, 14, who was found dead inside a chimney at a vacant home over the road from his house was missing for two days before his parents went to the police
According to police records, Harley Dilly's father, Marcus, told investigators that it was not unusual for him to spend a Friday night away from home, but that he became concerned because his son usually would return by the next morning.
Marcus Dilly also told police that he had no reason to believe Harley was in any danger and that the boy didn't have a history of being suicidal.
