Drumph's dementia on full display yet again. How absurd to give a speech to the UNITED Nations assembly like he's at his own campaign rally. Boasting about the glorious US, jobs, the economy (which is a lie)... he was met with laughs when he said he was the most successful US president in history. Every word he speaks is a lie. Calling Iran the threatening aggressor (something like that), "fulfilling their blood-lust"... it's ludicrous- everything he accuses others of is basically describing the US and NATO.
This is another subject entirely but nationalism and globalism go hand-in-hand. The current power structure allows the movement of jobs, factories, investments, loans, wherever they choose to undermine workers internationally. Drumph is a pure globalist. Nationalism is this imaginary narrative to cloud our minds and paint over the crimes of inhuman bankers and investors.
The antithesis of both is INTERNATIONALISM. A powerful World Court (that the US and Israel refuse to abide by), scientific co-operation, enforcement of human rights. Guaranteed housing, education, living wages INTERNATIONALLY. Don't people understand that if all the fractured powers could join together with fairness... we could eradicate poverty and many of the world's ills?
The rhetoric of Nationalism is an empty screen for the most greedy 1-5% of the world. They are the enemy of good, not other citizens of the planet.
