1) you don't know the facts. You haven't seen his application or really understand the process involved in this.

2) they're obv challenging him theologically to see if he really knows what he's talking about (proving his legitimacy) when he appeals.
He's going to have to counter their argument with his own.
what would you say in response via appeal if it was you?
Keep in mind, it can't be any old textbook David wood style shit argument. It has to be one that actually carries weight.

3) for example, I would go in depth on right action Vs non actions, works Vs faith. On how the spread of early Christianity came without taking arms. How its message spread by those who lived by example.

However since he is an ex Muslim he would have to further explain why this doesn't apply to Islam.

In reality there is a time and place for either one and it depends on people's collective state of mind. Something Paul briefly spoke of in Romans 1.

If he's a fake convert then his answers will be Americanised.

IF... and it is a big IF... that is what they are doing, then you have a point. The man said his Reason for Converting is because Christianity is "a religion of peace." My first thought was, That's it? Really?

Buddhism is a peace-y religion.

People come to Christianity (from without) for much different reasons. Jesus didn't come to bring peace, anyway. That's a byproduct... but I digress, as usual.

I wonder if you aren't being too generous, @AspiringSoul ... giving them too much credit. Hmm?

The kings of the earth and most governments have for some decades decided to reject the authority of Jesus Christ. They don't want to live like He commands... they want power control wealth sodomi etc etc and so they just rejected God.

And since they have help in this endeavour in the Devil and his angels they might think they stand a chance against God and His Christ.RIP.
