May God bless Xi Jinping :)

A man of the people :)

And a man who believes in and promotes a multipolar world of peace and equality

I am told all this propaganda and supposed to believe China is so evil....

I have to pause before my brain explodes as I try to think of anyone who China has invaded. I don't know of any refugee crisis caused by China bombing people. My friend says the imperialists lost in Syria. If that is correct as I believe it is.... it confirms what Mao said- all imperialists are paper tigers.

In any case, do people even know about Xi Jinping?

I've watched him speak. I am supposed to be against him.... based on what I'm told by people who have never even watched him speak. How many problems could be solved if people would simply listen to what others have to say. I urge people to watch the video and see the man for yourself. China's rise is a ray of hope for our human race. A rise not based on oppressing or dehumanizing others.

Well they have their share of corruption and etc. but they sure aint the evil monolith we are being sold that they are. Similar situation as with Russia. There is plenty good about those nations and their peoples with many more commonalities to build on as opposed to differences we can tear ourselves/each other apart over......

The fact is......

look at how the US is trying to overthrow the democratically elected government of Venezuela.

What is happening in Venezuela is bigger than Venezuela.

The US wants to overthrow the government of Venezuela.... because Venezuela wants to implement socialist policies?

Look..... Venezuela can do it what it wants to do. What Venezuela does is Venezuela's business. The US's place is to mind its own business.

The US is still pursuing imperialism in Latin America.

I guess maybe China has problems. I have heard that the US has more of a homeless problem than China does. I don't know if that's true.

But what I do know is..... what Latin Americans do is the business of Latin Americans. Hugo Chávez was a hero standing up against imperialism. It is simply a fact. The US needs to mind its own business when it comes to Latin America.

And the US will learn to mind its own business. If it doesn't want to accept that, it will be made to accept that.

Once Obrador becomes president of Mexico.... I think Mexico will be aligned with the same bloc as Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua. I would say Ecuador but I think Lenin Moreno is a traitor. In any case.... imperialism will be driven from Latin America. Whether it likes it or not.

Words are just words. Who cares what people say.

How is the US towards Venezuela? It is attempting to engage in imperialism. I say attempting because it is failing. The imperialists will learn what century this is.

And so who is supporting Venezuela? Russia and China.

Russia and China are supporting the sovereignty and independence of Venezuela. The US is trying to undermine it.

So I'm going off concrete actions, who cares about words. You can see who is who by their actions. The US will learn to mind its business or it will simply be made to mind its business. China and Russia are the allies. They are the ones pushing for a multipolar world and the US is pushing for imperialism. The US will learn to be a decent neighbor or US imperialism will simply be driven out. As Rafael Correa said, neo-colonialism is simply not acceptable in this century.

Anyone who thinks they can push imperialism in this century..... they are simpy bluffing. They can make threatening words but the tables are turning and they can't actually back it up. And people know they can't back it up.

The multipolar world is emerging, China and Russia are supporting it, US and Israel are opposing it. Regardless- the multipolar world is emerging and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

"Once Obrador becomes president of Mexico"
That is an important point, really hoping it happens soon.....

Xi is a total bad-ass. Probably one of the most intelligent and classy politicians the world has seen in a long time. He is definitely a fantastic president for China for the 21st century. He and his government have been very careful in introducing limited capitalism and digital technology into the country, reaping the benefits (Alibaba) while keeping the disruptive potential to a minimum (tight controls on internet access.)

I think the US and Western govts. are scared of China, not only for the traditional reasons of its sheer size and communist alignment, but because they've parlayed their economic success into growing a navy and a space program that will soon eclipse our own. (Their army has always been huge.)

Plus, they've been buying up land and other resources all over Africa and the New World for a few years, too, giving money to local and national govts. and building infrastructure such as roads, bridges, dams and even public buildings. It may not qualify as "colonialism" in the military sense, but it sure as heck looks like economic colonialism, laying the groundwork for a future in which Chinese officials can walk right into the Bahamas or Kenya or Colombia and say, "Yes, according to this contract, we own your water/mines/arable land now, so you have to do what we say for the next 10 or 100 or 1000 years."

It was only a matter of time before China caught up with the rest of the world. If anything, the predations and deprivations of the Maoists only delayed this inevitability. Now, they surpass both the US and Russia in economics. Once they achieve military parity, it will be a game changer. They will start exerting their influence in geopolitics, and their aims are likely to clash with those of the US, the EU, and even Russia. And I agree with the OP, it will be a very interesting time to be alive.

Perhaps its my misunderstanding of the contractual situations, but I was under the impression that China has been able to secure much of these inroads into traditional "western powers" colonial territories through joint-development agreements. The results may seem similar on the surface, but the infrastructure of these deals seems a lot more productive for the non-Chinese states than with the traditional arraignments usually implemented between these nations and western powers/Israel.
