IXXI re-examined

In the late 60s or early 70s, my dad gave mom an Egyptian scarab bracelet.. quite pretty. A few years ago, I was looking at it, and on the underside of the stones, there are etchings.. one of which is none other than IXXI.

I think I may still have a picture. Will look.

Well.. it wasn't IXXI as I had thought!

It is IXI XI.. or something. Have a look..

The backs of the other stones have different etchings, but I have no idea if they really mean anything.

I got to wondering how far back the IXXI went...


Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan after taking some drugs and it's "as above, so below" symbolism was fairly obvious. I always thought the first lines of the poem were a little odd...

"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea."

Reaching? Maybe...

Then I took a look at the album cover of the Fifth Age of Man (thanks @elsbet for putting me onto it!)...

Spot the IXXI? I didn't right away...

^ Yup, he tries to twist & turn everything upside down . When I was a child, I couldn't for the life of me understand why the day that people celebrated the BIRTH of Christ is called of all possible names... ChristMAS. Now I understand.

Round Saturn's Eye (R$E) videos have a lot of good and rare info.
Unfortunately it seems to me that RSE have a form of godliness but ...well, it could be just me but watching his videos brings me an oppressive vibe,

He is aware of this himself - his earlier ones were when he had come out of Gnosticism etc and were focussed on exposing the dark more than shining the light...

hey, check this dude, I don't know what to think about him,
you know, they put 95% true with the last 5 percent with lies, so, as 95 is fact we are willing to accept the rest.
I mean, for r$e and 17stormy17 (which is a weird nickname too)

I think he initially intended it as a ministry to Gnostics and Luciferians...
